Jimmy's Strip District Grille

We stopped here for breakfast & it is a great SUNDAY breakfast stop. It's hard to find places like this because there are more chains than not.
Don't let the parking lot being filled fool you, stop, find parking & go in.
I won't lie, the food takes a while, but the coffee is fresh, & our server was 'perky' & kept on refilling our coffed WITHOUT being asked! It was a Sunday so we had time to just hang and wait. Very informal on the inside, so casual is fine.
Note: ***I don't eat meat (plant based options only), or any kind of eggs (unless it's in a food)), so it made the menu a little harder to navigate & order (my issue not yours, just mentioning) as there were no 'plant-based options for proteins). Waffles, pancakes or french toast become your options if this is your same lifestyle, but a least there are some options.

Waffle - Nice, full size Belgian waffle, it was very good. Ordered side of potatoes, they were tasty. Would like it if there had been a potato and waffle option platter, but not a big deal.
The other order omelet, with toast etc was perfection and very fairly priced.
We will be back, and it is a great stop.

Old World omlette with side of crispy bacon. Exceptionally fresh omlette and home fries. Not greasy, just delicious. Friendly servers too.

Great diner for breakfast and service, had meat lover's omelet, 3 in party, all loved our food, it was my birthday breakfast.

We come here for breakfast after church. Fantastic breakfast, food is very good.

My husband had the Jimmy's Big Breakfast with sweet sausage/Mancini's toast. I had the egg white veggie omelette. Both piping hot and delicious! Highly recommend.

Great place for breakfast! Only been three twice but the food and the service was very good!

Totally totally happy with my breakfast. Michelle my waitress was superb. She went above and beyond. Totally went out of her direction and suggested pretty much everything and laid it out just the way I wanted. The stuffed French toast with Mancini bread and the cream filling and fresh strawberries was excellent. My dippy eggs were dippy just like I like them and the toast was nice and crispy enough. I'm glad I stopped by

Great place! Good home style breakfast, great people fun atmosphere. The whole family loves it here and we always look forward to our meals here. The pricing is very reasonable and the menu is vast. I send everyone here. keep up the good work folks!

Great place! These places are getting hard to find. Great small town feel. Good food at a fair price, and a sweetheart waitress. I will be back the next chance I get.

One of my favorite spots for both breakfast and lunch. Possibly the best breakfast I've ever had the Breakfast Scramble. A dish filled with sausage, pepper, onion, potatoes, and smothered the cheese. Or try Jimmy's Pittsburgh Sandwich with steak, one that simply beats any of the rest...

This was our first time there and it was wonderful. Will definitely be back. Saw it featured on Pittsburgh today live.

The food was cooked perfectly and seasoned to the tee aka none needed. My wife and I drove an hour and it was well worth it. A must eat and Jimmy even asked if it was cooked to standard.
