Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital

I don’t normally do reviews, but I’ve been to plenty emergency rooms and this was the best treatment I have ever received and I’m 33 years old Dr. WittNah And Dr. Saint Martin along with the few nurses that helped me were amazing starting from once I got to the emergency room until the end it was a kind of crazy story and they didn’t make me feel like I was crazy, which is very rare to find they listen to everything I had to say and made Sure, I knew my options and that I was OK and asked me every time they did something. I just really appreciate them and it’s such a nice hospital.

I was in the Emergency room this Sunday and had the best experience you can have considering I was Very sick. My nurse Nikki and Dr Davis were very kind and helped me get out of pain. Dr Davis recommended for me to see a specialist. They had me seeing Dr Capener by Friday. Dr Capeners team is a well oiled machine, very efficient. My nurse Stephanie made me feel like family and kept the experience very light hearted and fun.

I had a medical emergency two weeks ago and was rushed privately to Riverton ER. When I walked in the front receptionist there greeted me kindly and was so sweet. She was very professional and efficient to help me get checked out as quick as possible. I’m assuming as I was having a neurological issue, I was pulled in right away. Staff were quick to help and get me where I needed to go. Once in my room I was seen by Dr. Finnerty. I felt dumb because I was having difficulty expressing what was going on with my body and didn’t want to take up a bed as they were very busy, but he was super understanding, listened to what I was saying and made me feel comfortable and cared for. While my health experience was not enjoyable, my interactions with the ER staff at Riverton was.

Went into the ER around 3am Monday for horrible back pain. They got me to a room quickly and did blood work and a CT scan and before I knew it I was admitted and had to get my gallbladder removed. The nurses and staff were so kind and helpful. I was really anxious and everyone answered my questions so nicely. It was all a bit of a blur but I felt so safe and taken care of. I highly recommend this hospital!

I am so amazed and feel so blessed at the care everyone here from doctors, nurses, housekeeping , kitchen , everyone here is absolutely wonderful and very attentive with patients and their families. They have been so good to my baby and are quick to check on her every time something changes. Doctor came in and blew bubbles for my baby .. made her feel comfortable and smiles..I recommend riverton hospital primary children's 100 % .. you are such a blessing

I had same day surgery and it was such a positive experience from check in til I left. Everyone that helped me was so great. They even sent a cute thank you card to me in the mail!

The staff alone are so fantastic. I’ve been begging for a doctor to me and I’m symptoms, they had a whole team of awesome medical staff that did!

WIND RIVER GRILL
I've been to Riverton Hospital more times than I can recall. The very best experience I have ever had was in the cafeteria known as the
Wind River Grill. It is tucked away at the ground floor southwest corner of building 1. I know what you're saying; hospital food? Fortunately, the wind river grill has no dietary restrictions. You may choose from a list of the daily specials or have a sandwich grilled to order. My preference is the reuben sandwich with plump juicey onion rings. The price is reasonable and the food is delicious. Tables and chairs or 4 booth tables make up the spartan decor. It is not the best place to take a date, but if you are in the hospital, don't bother to go out to McD's, unless you need a long breath of air. It closes early. Just take note.

Great experience. My nurse Lacy was absolutely wonderful!!! Very knowledgeable of my procedure (parathyroid) so relieved any anxiety.
Highly recommend.

Best experience all the way around!! On August 10th I was sent to the hospital for an emergency C-section due to high blood pressure. When I first got to labor and delivery my nurses name was Maria and she was amazing! She knew I was nervous and very emotional, she made sure to keep me in high spirits the entire time. She held my hand and reassured me everything would be ok and she got me through it! During the surgery the entire staff was amazing! After I was sent to mom and baby where I had several nurses as I was there for 4 days. I don’t re names but every si nurse was great they took amazing care of me they were all so nice and comforting I would definitely recommend delivering at riverton if you have the chance that was my second time and each time I had Excellent care! Now my son had to spend 6 days in NICU and let me tell you the care my son received and the support I received was beyond amazing the staff took such good care of me. My Birthday fell into this time I didn’t say anything but Julie figured it out and made sure I had a card and some treats it was so sweet I can not believe a complete stranger went out of her way for me like that. There was one particular nurse that honestly helped me get through one of the most emotional times of my life! Her name is Alyssa before she ever even met me she treated my son as if he was her own. She was by our side every single day we were there helping us get through. She would feed the baby so I could sleep she would make sure I had everything I needed she would reassure everything would be ok when things got to emotional for me (because they did a lot) I can not describe every single little thing that that lady did to make our stay special but I will forever be grateful for her!!! ❤❤❤ Thank you for hiring such an amazing staff!!

My daughter just had her baby here and wow wow. She had the most amazing experience in labor and deliver and also in the mom and baby unit. Ashlee, Alicia and Joni (from Alta Hospital who was helping that night) were so patient and loving with my daughter in labor and delivery. Andrea, Brittany, Dr. Hines, Dr Beck and Dr. Peacock were most fabulous in the after care of my daughter and her baby. My daughter couldn’t have asked for a better hospital to have her baby. Thank you so much to all the staff even the cleaning crew and the food personnel for taking good care of them and for also making sure all her guests were taken care of. Baylee and Elliot are so happy and healthy!

My experience was great. The doctors and nurses were amazing to help my wife and baby be born.

I've gone to various doctors and departments at this hospital and all my visits have been great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The facility is well maintained. There are a lot of signs around the entire building so it's easy to find what you are looking for. There is a lot of parking, but it does get pretty busy sometimes so you may have to park farther back and walk a bit to the entrance. And because it is so big it can take 10-15 minutes from parking to get where you are going so plan to get there a little early for your appointments so you have plenty of time to get to where you're going on time!

I have had 2 deliveries here and the staff was amazing in labor and delivery.
Fast forward I'm 10weeks pp and I needed an out patient procedure done. In pre op my nurse Amanda, who's also from texas, was so just so incredibly kind and easy to talk to! We shared stories and laughs as well! My OR nurses Traci and Matt, I didn't get to know them well... well.. because I was asleep haha but I'm sure they are amazing. Anesthiologist Dr. W was incredibly thorough and understanding and explained the entire process to me which put my mind at ease. Coming out of surgery I'm greeted with Dee and the bed side manner she carries is something of an angel. I was crying, not sure why but assuming that was the Anesthesia, and she comforted me and took the best care of me and reassured me that I was normal and everything was okay, the pina colada smoothie was awesome also! Post op room time, Amanda was quick and thorough to get us discharged and on the road. So overall, this was just an incredible experience and these staff members are super stars!

I had shoulder surgery here August 17, 2022 by Dr. Eric Dockter. The doctor, anesthesiologists and nurses were kind and professional. Special thanks to Becca who cleaned up my vomit multiple times, changed my dressing, sling, and clothes. God bless these angels.

Excellent experience regarding the service to the appointment to perform a tomography study for my mother. Your staff (reception) Mr.: Verl, received us with a treatment par excellence and served in informing and personally guiding us to the waiting place. The Lady: Norma, in this other image reception, was very courteous and gentle in her attention. We thank you for the excellent quality of service, I hope it continues and will be like this in many institutions in the state of Utah.

They didn't have much room but the staff was awesome and took care of my son and they were great.

We went here for a stress test to check blood flow, an echocardiogram. I waited in the lobby. A great place to enjoy the surroundings. Very busy hospital and the nurses and doctors are great. Very professional. You might even see your neighbors working there. It's right of the freeway and easy access if you have a real emergency. A huge deal for anyone who has loved ones in need!

They took great care of my 1-year-old who had to spend a few nights in the hospital. They provided some amenities to help us feel comfortable and some toys to keep him happy. We feel very grateful for all the doctors and staff who took care of him! Everyone was so kind and answered all our questions.

My 92year old father-in-law was taken to Riverton hospital for an observation stay due to extremely low blood pressure and a recent fall. From the doctors in ER to the Nurse practitioner and the supporting staff, his stay was met with concern and compassion.
