I was slow to accept that I needed counseling. God truly knew my needs and Lavern became my counselor. I didn’t know Christian counselors existed outside the church. I am so blessed that she is my counselor helping me through anxiety and grief I could not have been paired with a better counselor. Penn Foundation is lucky to have Lavern on their staff. 5 stars to Lavern you’re awesome!!

From the front staff who help you with intake and scheduling, to the therapists and psychiatrists, this place is awesome. There are many wonderful people working hard here. I recently needed to seek outside services due to my home location. Janice stepped in and was amazing! She was kind, listened to what I had to say and helped me step by step, to get the help I needed. She set me up, even though I wasn't getting this particular service with Penn Foundation. My therapist and psychiatrist here are wonderful people. I have needed support for some time and Penn Foundation has been there to provide. Thank You all!

I have been going to Penn Foundation for a couple years now and I have had positive experiences. Peer Support is a great program and really helped me when I needed extra support. I also have an incredible drug and alcohol therapist and the receptionist is the best!! I recommend Penn Foundation to anyone in the area seeking help.

Lavern is the best, I always feel so much better after seeing her!! The penn foundation has been helping me deal with my grief from loosing my daughter and watching my mother slowly slip further and further into dementia. Thanks Lavern❤❤

I had a great experience with Penn Foundation and would recommend them to anyone suffering from mental health and/or substance use disorders. Staff was friendly, engaging, and clearly committed to helping those in their care and the community as a whole.

Penn Foundation and all of their staff are extremely professional and know what they are doing and how to handle situations the correct way! I am proud to say that Penn Foundation saved my life and I now have over two years clean and I am now a CRS in hopes that the place that saved my life will let me return the favor and represent them as an employee to help others and to show the proof is there! It's just about putting in the work!

Don’t know much but the drop off process was super easy - the staff were super helpful and courteous. More than I can say for places that I’ve dealt with in the past. My daughter’s mother and my ex has been struggling for some and she’s not alone as everybody knows this just isn’t the person who’s addicted struggle it’s hard for their loved ones too. So just a simple thing like that after driving all this way running smoothly goes a long way to me. So thank you. Take care of my girl plz.

My name's Melissa Peterman (maiden name Moore) and I went to PFRC in 2010 for heroin addiction. High, mentally lost, and angry with my parents for giving me an ultimatum-- rehab, or homeless. The rainy Monday morning I agreed for them to take me here was the single best day of my life. I stayed only 4 weeks but in those 4 weeks I met the most amazing people, many of which I still keep in contact with 6 years later, and I learned more about myself in those 4 weeks than I had in 20 years of living. I am 6 years sober this month. 6 years ago this month I made the leap to go to PFRC and finally stop getting high and numbing myself from all emotion.

The counselor I was assigned to there, I now forget his name, told me and my parents when I was going to be discharged that it was a huge mistake that I moved to Nashville TN. He told us that I needed to stay in PA with them and continue my sobriety at home. If you're reading this-- I did move to Nashville, I am still in Nashville, I have a husband and a beautiful 3 year old son and I'm a licensed massage therapist and moving to Nashville was not a mistake, but the biggest blessing ever!!!!! Thank you for your concern, but to those out there struggling, reading reviews of this place and wondering if it's the best for them or for their children the answer is yes. And if relocating after you've finished your time at rehab is what you think you need, then do it! Had I stayed in the Philadelphia area, I would be 6 feet under. Relocating to a nicer city where I still did have family (grandparents, aunt and uncle, cousins) was the best idea I have ever had and here I am 6 years later still in love with this place.

Thanks to PFRC I am 6 years sober. Thanks to my counselors doubt, though he was great, I am 6 years still in Nashville and still in love with it. I took his doubt that it was a good idea and I ran with it and ultimately I proved to myself that sometimes, taking a big leap, taking a big risk, and relocating is actually the best thing for an addict!!! No bad memories are here, only good. Thank you PFRC, you all saved my life.

Been to quite a few other facility's similar as this one. This one is by far the best I've been to. Very clean and excellent staff. You are treated as an adult and not as a child like most places.
