Tommy always takes great care of any concerns I have with my car- from a basic oil change and state inspection to replacing my headlight assembly when I couldn’t find anyone else in the area that would help me. This is a great business with integrity and incredible employees! I highly recommend them.

We were visiting family nearby and when we were about to head home which is about 50 miles away I saw that my tire was going flat. I saw that Dan's shop closes at 5:00 and it was already 4:30 but I took a chance and gave them a call hoping they may be able to help us. They said bring it in we'll take care of you. They are some of the nicest people I've encountered. I was also in the service industry and really appreciate being treated the way I treated my customers. Thank you!

Because of the beyond stellar experiences I've always had with this service center, I only go to Dan's for my car's needs. They are exceedingly kind, fair, and honest. Yesterday I had a rather pressing issue with my car hood not latching. As I was detailing the issue over the phone, before I could even finish, the man told me to stop in (without an appointment, spur of the moment) and he would see what he could do. When I arrived it took him less than a minute to diagnose AND fix the issue AND he wasn't even going to charge me for the service he provided. I insisted on paying him something for his invaluable expertise and general awesomeness!
Truly, this place is gold, and the men who own/run it are rare gems. Highly, highly, highly recommend.

Took my 02 Jeep Liberty in after being told from a different place that the diagnostic alone would cost me around $500 for the issue I had. Long story short Dan’s did the diagnosing and the fix for $300 total. This vehicle is 20 years old and is now running better than the day I bought it. Honest high quality work. I’ll definitely be back for any future work I need done and would recommend to anyone. This is the first review I’ve ever left on google but was so impressed and appreciative of the work. Honest mechanics who do great work are few and far between. Two thumbs up.

Great shop, fantastic workers, great prices. Had an exhaust stack problem. Took my car to the Cranberry muffler shop believing that they would be able to repair the leak as it was an old car. Instead they recommended a complete stack replacement at $4K more than what the car was worth. Took the car to Dan’s and they fixed the pipe problem as part of the inspection for a fraction of what the muffler shop asked for. If you are in Cranberry, go here. They are the best. They do more than transmission.

This place offered the best price for my brake pads and rotors. The mechanic did a great job and after my first call always proceeded to recognize my name with every call. I will definitely be coming back if I have another issue. Also, as a response to another review on here, they did accept my payment via credit card.

My car was up the street at a chain store. They wanted to charge me $900 to change two wheel bearings. I brought it to Dan’s and talked to Tom. He said he would look at it and determine what needed done. Dan’s is up front. They’re not out to tack on a whole bunch of extras to make more money. They didn’t treat me like “a dumb girl” like the big chains do. Dan’s charged me more than half the cost and I’m so pleased. I recommend to everyone and I will definitely be a returning customer!!

Did what he said he would do for the reasonable price he quoted in the time he promised, my mind's blown.
Edit, 1 year update ( review was months after repair) All's well and right with 06' Ford f150 transmission he fixed. No slips or rough shifts, no leaks or vibrations. Been daily 20 plus miles since then and some towing, no problems. Thanks Dan, doing what you told me when i asked about a break in period. You said Just "Drive, drive, drive." Till 😀

Top notch service! I had two simultaneous burnt out brake bulbs. I stopped by on my lunch hour,no appointment. Tommy went out of his way to replace them right then & there. He even made a call to the parts dealer to bring over two bulbs. Highly recommend this garage!

Tom at Dan's Transmission is the best. He took my fiance´ in right away to fix her tire and charged us the bare minimum for labor. He patched us up and told us to spread the love. We will take our business here from now on for whatever we need to. If you want the best service, with family care you have come to the right spot

Easy to deal with. Always answered the phone and spoke to me directly. Competent shop. Unfortunately, the trans I bought myself for them to install was defective, but Dan and crew are working hard to help me resolve.

My transmission went on my car. I towed it here. Was done within 1 week. And it is reasonably priced! They didn't try to tell me I needed "this, that & the other!" Which I greatly appreciated, unlike Pep Boys, that tried to upsell me everything under the sun, at a 300-400% mark up!!! Would have been done sooner but had a rear tail light and ball joints fixed in addition to the new transmission. The mechanic is one of the best "tranny guys" around, Tom! Great place, great people & great service!

Honest work at a good price. Went there for the first time 1 1/2 years ago and have used them several times since. Won't try to take advantage of you with unneeded work which is harder to find in a mechanic than it should be. Would definitely recommend them to a friend.

Moved to PA last year and I brought my vehicle here for state inspection . I love Tom. Here again for my annual inspection. I will never go anywhere else. Thanks for taking care of me,especially when I have to hang out in the office due to no ride.😉😊😊

Kind, honest, and fair people... It's great that shops like this still exist. I took my car in there with an intermittent transmission problem. If you don't know, "intermittent" problems are HARD to find... Tommy (I believe he's the 2nd in command guy) took the time to diagnose the problem down to the exact wire that was failing. Fixed THAT wire, saving me hundreds of dollars (thousands??) if I would have taken it to a dealer or a chain store... I had a couple nice conversations with Dan (the owner) and Brian (another tech) and all I can say is that they're great people... Would definitely do business there again...

They're a little hard to find on Rt 19, located directly behind the Cranberry Messenger. (If you turn into the Elks, you missed it...)

Honest Mechanic. Those seem hard to come by these days and it's wonderful to finally find a solid, experienced mechanic that you can trust. Gives accurate quotes and on top of everything else, has a nice friendly staff. Couldn't ask for more.
