King Cobra Tattoo

I have 2 tattoos from Erica and she is hands down the best detailer! She customized and drew up both of my tattoos like nbd. She excels in black and white and uses a thinner needle so her designs look more artistic and they are simply beautiful.

Could not recommend these guys more! Did a walk in tattoo with my girlfriend for her birthday and she got both ears pierced in a new spot as well. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, shop was very clean and professional. Lowercase j did a phenomenal job on my tattoo and was friendly through the whole process. Her artist and piercer both were also great and we both had a great experience here. We will be back, if you’re in the area give them a visit you will not be disappointed!

Erica is a wonderful human who did a great job on my croc!🐊 She was fun to talk to, easy to work with (even when I made her change the placement 3 times), and did excellent work. Shoutout to Jake for the moth too, he's awesome!

I recently got my first three tattoos here and couldn’t be happier. The penguin was a tribute to my late father, which made it even more meaningful when it came out perfectly. Timmy did all three, and was super professional, friendly, and fast. The shop itself is clean and a feast for the eyes. All the artists here have great flash covering the walls, and I’ve personally seen incredible work from all of them. I would be getting more from this shop in the near future if I wasn’t about to move! I highly recommend this shop to anyone, especially if you want a traditional style tattoo.

I had a tattoo done for my son by Mikey. I cannot express how much this tattoo means to me. Mikey did an outstanding job with it. He was polite, professional, clean, and creative. I dont take permanent things lightly and would highly recommend anyone to this place. Whether it be sentimental, spur of the moment, or traditional, this is the place to go. I decided on King Cobra to get my first tattoo after hearing some awesome comments from a few friends, and I'm so glad I did. I was tattooed by Jake and he was great! He was super nice and friendly and he made me feel at ease immediately (which honestly isn't easy to do lol). Since it was first tattoo, I was nervous about doing something too crazy or detailed, so my tattoo was pretty simple, but Jake still did phenomenal. --- The shop itself was very clean, and they're adhering to covid restrictions (masks, sanitizing, only a couple people allowed inside at a time). I was very pleased with my experience and if/when I decided to get another tattoo (very likely) I'll definitely go back to King Cobra as long as I'm still in State College. Thank you again to Jake!

What a great experience! I'm an older person wanting a certain tattoo with great meaning to me....as I'm sure is common. Justin listened. I so appreciated that. He really listened. I was just there to make an appointment, but he was able to take me right away. My timing was right. I was in and out in an hour...a simple tattoo...and the whole experience from start to finish was professional, explained perfectly, I was not talked down to, or made to think that why I was there was not special. I highly recommend King Cobra for anyone even considering a tattoo!

Getting a tattoo at King Cobra was such a great experience. I was incredibly nervous to get my first tattoo, but Jake and the rest of the team made the process so comforting. I've been tattooed by both Mikey and Jake, and Jake did some of my piercings a few years back. I can't recommend the shop enough; everyone there is incredibly kind and professional, not to mention talented. They all know american traditional in and out but are also willing to accommodate specific requests (which is awesome-- having Bobby from KoTH forever on my body is something others may question, but I will never regret). On top of the people being great, the shop itself is beautiful. With all of the art on the walls, it's hard to walk out without planning your next appointment!! Definitely check out King Cobra whenever you're in State College! :D

I worked with Jake for my conch piercing, and I had a great experience! He was very friendly and made me feel super comfortable. He also sat with me for a couple minutes after my piercing so I could ask him questions about my tattoo.
