I was glad to find Indian food especially vegetarian in State College. Ordered vegetable makhani, roti and mango kheer. It was delicious, finger licking.
Two days later ordered malai kofta, Kashmiri naan, vegetable pakoras and the delicious mango kheer.
Large portions comes with rice, easily serves 2. Packing is durable and food arrives hot. Ordered on Uber Eats.
Will definitely try other vegetarian meals.

I had a friend pick my order up so I can't speak on things like service, but the food was DELICIOUS. I got lamb jalfrezi and veggie samosas. The lamb was nice and soft without being mushy, and I could tell the veggies were fresh and not frozen. The samosas are big, spicy, and crispy. I will definitely be coming again

Their Naan is the best! The buffet is 12 per person. Although the curry is too strong for me, I still go there only for naans!😆

A great place to enjoy the Indian Cuisine with all its diverse dishes and intensive use of spices. You can have a lunch buffet with your friends or family for an affordable and a reasonable price and with a large variety of delicious food. Great location, friendly staff and great service.

I ordered daal tadka and seekh kebab, through food delivery service.
Authentic indian taste, i enjoyed very much.

The buffet was fun and consistently good, with about half of the dishes vegetarian. Don't miss the gulab jamun for dessert. Service is friendly and the prices are fair.

This place is like a delicacy I drive 40 minutes to get to this place and always have the hardest time parking but worth every minute
Not a lot going on out here in the mountains so to be able to have some good Indian cuisine is always a good day.. I like to buffets 11:00 to 2:30 all you can eat 10 bucks good deal good food good time

Didn’t realize how much I enjoyed the lunch buffet until I couldn’t go for 1+ year. Everything was as flavorful as I remembered. Buffet was only Thu-Sat when I went; not sure when it will be fully open.

I recommend to begin with the Mixed Veggie Platter -delicious and enough to share. Lots of veg entree options.
A mango lassi is a must, and for variety, try an avocado one.
Likely, you'll need a container or two since the portions are generous.
We will definitely be back- and you should go too!

This food is the best Indian food in State College! I would go here over and over and over again! I go for the buffet.

I love this place. Best deal on town, and such high quality in terms of food and ambiance if you have an open enough mind in central Pennsylvania to try it. Something for everyone. Don't tell anyone though, if it gets too popular I'll probably have to go somewhere else

Been going here for several years. The buffet food is delicious, and not too salty. I find the naan and pakora here to be better than at India Pavilion. The gulab jamun is a little on the overly sweet side but still tasted good. Service was a little slow today but they were probably understaffed.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. I enjoy their lunch buffet and the food is very home style. Definitely a place to check out for good Indian food in State College. Affordable and delicious meals that will fill you up!

I love this place and the people who work there are extremely pleasant! The man who works at the cash and the lady with the very long nice hair are great employees and always smiling. They are the main reason I keep coming to Kaarma!

Wow, what a wonderful restaurant. From the kind greeting at the front door to the amazing Indian cuisine and high quality of the buffet this place is a gem. The music was lovely and the atmosphere felt authentic. The decision to come here is a naan issue. 😁 Namaste all the way!

They have great food, great prices. If you can catch the weekday lunch buffet it is a great way to get a wide array of tastes of an awesome cuisine. There is also a Saturday Dinner buffet. If you have never had Indian food, this is a great place to try it. The staff is helpful in making choices from the regular menu. No matter what, you need to get their Naan. It is hot, crispy, and awesome. A must try if you are hungry for good food at a great price.

I had an excellent experience! Granted, it was my first restaurant after three days on the road, but, I was touched by how the restaurant owner and the staff were accommodating with all the luggage that I carried.

Both the decor and the food was great. I liked the art and the setting. I tried everything except the meat dishes. I especially liked the hot vegetable entrees, and the hot and crispy naan. Highly recommend it!

I love this place! I just moved to State College and was thrilled to find such a fine Indian Restaurant! The food is always fresh and has great flavour! I have enjoyed Saag Paneer (my personal favourite), Aloo Gobi, Chili Gobi, Butter Chicken, Bindi Masala and more! All is spiced and flavoured exquisitely. When first approached the waiter will bring delicious pappadums with two dipping sauces, do try them you will not be disappointed! The portion sizes are generous and always enough for two or lunch tomorrow! The service is prompt, friendly and helpful. The menu has great variety and is affordable. The setting is very casual but comfortable. The location is central in downtown and actually right next to the CATA hub. I have only ever dined in the restaurant but from what I can tell they do a good take away business as well. Getting hungry for lunch! Cheers!

The butter chicken here is delicious. The customer service is great too. We haven't eaten indoors but only ordered, and were very pleased. Overall, we've been pleased with their food choice and quality.
