Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Reading

My Father was there for 10 days for rehabilitation this time. 2 years ago it was for 3 weeks. I highly recommend Encompass for any family member who is looking to go home sooner rather then later. The nursing staff is wonderful along with the food that is served for meals. 👍

I was very pleased with the care I received during my stay at Encompass Health. The many nurses, aides and therapists were attentive and professional. I was feeling a little down on Thanksgiving day because I wanted to be with my family. A cheery song from housekeeping staff member Magaly brought a smile to my face and made the rest of the day go faster. Dr Hoffer came to see me every day and was open to answering questions. I highly recommend this facility

A lady I care for has been here for rehab more than once. Great place to be for therapy. She got therapy 4 times a day. I been taking care of my lady for 13 years I don't trust her in just anyone's hand but this place is amazing, the nurses and the therapists are good to the patients.

Very good place for rehab was there twice for walking issues. The staff are the best very friendly and always there to help. The doctor's are very good plus the PT and OT are awesome and know there staff. Very respectful and kind to you. Food is great. Place is very clean. Highly recommend this place.

When I first heard I was coming here I read a lot of reviews. There was a lot of negative reviews, and it scared the heck out of me when I realized that's where I was going. But this place has been the complete opposite for me a great experience, great nursing, great therapist, it has been a positive experience here, I would just like to say thank you to all the staff with the encouragement and help to achieve my goals.

My grandfather just had a two week stint there while recovering. The front desk lady is very nice and offered candy anytime I went in. The nurses are also very friendly. One stopped in and talked to use for about 15 minutes about sports ands society and was very friendly.

On Wednesday September 22, 2021 I attended a blood drive at this location as a Red Cross volunteer. Big campus. I met some of the staff here and they were friendly. I hope the Red Cross gets invited back here because this location is a nice facility.

I hope the staff treats the patients better than the guests. Surly and rude at the front desk. It's not unreasonable to think that someone may need a few personal items when they'll be there a few days, the snide remarks were not appreciated.

Terrible place. Most nursing staff seemed very inadequate. After arriving there after having major spinal surgery, they let me lay in my urine soaked bed 9 times in 4 days . I ended up with a sacral slit. Very painful and a skin breakdown is an opportunity for infection (SEPSIS) I feel I was discharged way too soon. 77 years old, live alone, couldn't do steps in my large house. I would like a reply.
