Phoenixville is known for their number of pizza places.. And it's a constant debate within the locals which is the best. Hog island, hands down has the best food overall for any option. Sandwiches, cheesesteaks, pizzas, wraps, and wings.. we have had it all and they do NOT disappoint. Not to mention the owner Dimitri will stop at nothing to help his customers. Their prices are justified with their portion sizes and quality of food is second to none. If you're looking for a well rounded joint, look no further!

Got the roast pork w broccoli rabe + sharp provolone w long hots. It rivals Dinic’s. GF got the Italian + it was just excellent. So were their french fries.
I love finding small, local places by word of mouth like this. Definitely a new favorite lunch spot.

Wasn't expecting anything above average due to being places in a strip mall and not very fancy. Wow!! Highly impressed with the food. One of the best cheesesteaks in the area. Fries were great also.

The food here is so good. It is a bit expensive but is so worth it. The pizza is really good and I also enjoy the chicken Caesar wrap. The cheesesteaks are also delicious and so are the chicken cheesesteaks. The delivery time is average around 40 minutes and if you pick up it is usually ready in 20. We have been coming for years and have never been disappointed.

WOW! I was so surprised by softness of the sandwich bread. It was well packed with meat & whatever you chose to add, mushrooms, cheese. onions. etc. Plus it was Good! I could only take 2 to 3 bites then I was done because of the delicious chicken wings we ordered Garlic, Barbecue & fried. They were sooo good. Look 4ward to returning during the summer! I was able to hve my remaining sandwich for lunch the next dayPosted photos I found plus service was great just wanted some coffee because it was cold out..

Just got back from an extremely long quarantine and the first thing we needed to do was stop by hog Island to refresh ourselves with one of our favorites…A pork and broccoli rabe Hi Tavern platter. My wife and I decided to just split the platter which was of course outstanding and packed with meat and fresh broccoli rabe. We were in the mood for some wings and asked for a dry rub style, the owner Dimitri was interested in our opinion so he whipped up some lemon pepper wings and a secret mix of spices on another set of wings. Both styles featured very full and meaty drumsticks and wings portions, but the secret mix was so good that my wife stopped sharing them after I had just one :) I can’t explain the flavor but it’s something you need to ask him about and try. If you’re not that adventurous, the lemon pepper dry rub was outstanding as well! The food here speaks for itself, but Dimitri is a special business person who always goes out of his way to please his customers, his staff is reflective of his management style and very happy and always willing to ask how you’re doing and make sure that you enjoyed your meal. If you have an never checked out this spot you’re really missing out.

While most people probably go for their cheesesteaks, I'm all about their corned beef! It's made in-house and is so good. The make corned beef hoggies, clubs, specials and Reubens, all of which are great. Lately, I've been getting their corned beef club which is the best sandwich I've had in the area for a while. One of the regular guys at the counter recommended getting o e of their corned beef specials grilled since he didn't like saurkraut, and it's next on my list to try. Their hours are great too since they stay open later on the weekends than most of their competitors. Give them a try!

Hog island has the BEST wings my husband and I have gotten. And lemme tell yuh we love our wings and are very picky. Their prices went up a little which was sad cuz we were regulars but it’s still worth it

Jumbo cheesesteaks are exactly that, jumbo! I get mushrooms and extra provolone cheese as a regular amount of cheese kind of gets drowned out by the amount of beef. The staff is always friendly as well. This is a newer place for me, but I haven’t been disappointed yet and have recommended it to several friends.

Hog island Chicken ceaser salads are absolutely amazing!!!!

Hands down the best double cheeseburger when you are craving a late burger! It’s friggn huge. Get everything on it! Ketchup Mayo lettuce tomato onion pickles. Open till 10 on Monday!

Been eating the fare here for years, remains a staple. My orders are always accurate. The atmosphere, well it's a pizza joint, and I love the livelyness!

Cheese steaks are amazing! The large reminds me of a baseball bat in size. Great fun all around and price is very reasonable. You don't mind paying a little more for quality/quantity

Tried this place after work tonight and the chicken ranch sandwich is delicious! Cender recommended it he was very nice, I'll definitely be back

1st timer. I lived in S. Philly for 30 yrs so my standards are high. Perfectly good cheesesteak! I ordered online and there was no option for "sauce" as I usually get sauce & fried onions but no biggie. Decent amount of meat, choice of cheese but I like a crustier roll or it would have been great. I'll order from here again. Busy Friday night or I would have asked if they were from S. Philly i.e. Hog Island.

BEST PLACE IN THE VILLE!!! Great food, service, and restaurant. The guy who is always taking order at the front desk is very nice, and outgoing. Prices are affordable and food comes in large portions. Great place 💯

We detoured here on our way home to Michigan. While it doesn’t look like much, the food is excellent and the customer service is even better. Portions are sizable, at least for the calzones. If we lived closer, we would be back!
