Family Practice of Honey Brook

Doctor Arbuckle and Becker have been my doctors since before I was born. They did checkups on my mom when she was pregnant with me, gave me all my shots, saw every cold or flu I ever got, and generally are great people. The nurses are warm and helpful, offering a what homey feeling they can to their office. Great place, wonderful people, excellent care.

This is a wonderful family practice. Everyone is very nice and professional. In a day and age of insurance hassles and cold impersonal care, it's very refreshing to be at a practice where the people working there seem to still really care about making and keeping you healthy! Dr. Arbuckle is an excellent doctor. He is very good at diagnosing your problems and setting you on a course to get better! Again, he seems to really care about getting you well and works with his staff to get things moving asap. This is how doctors and their practice's use to be when I was younger. It's nice to be somewhere that hasn't given into the coldness of so called modern medicine and insurance companies who treat you like a number. This is a place that cares about people!

I have been a patient of Honey Brook Family Practice for as long as I can remember. I love Dr. Arbuckle and Dr. Becker! They are both brilliant, caring physicians and more importantly- they actually take the time to listen to you! They never make you feel like they are in a rush, and I have never ever walked out of the office feeling as if my needs/reason for my visit wasn't properly addressed. I honestly cannot say enough good things about these doctors or their practice! I am a Registered Nurse and I have worked with/ alongside many physicians in my career, None compare to these two! They are truly a pleasure to be around, even during my sickest moments! Thank you Dr. Arbuckle, Dr. Becker, and all of the staff for providing me with TOP NOTCH care for so many years!

I have been going here for about 30 years and never had a problem. I see Dr Becker and he is an excellent doctor. Very caring. I never have a problem getting an appointment. They only take a check or cash. I have no problems with the way you have to pay. I never had a problem with any of there office personnel. When I need a refilled prescription I just call the office and my doctor will call it in.

I shopped around and found this practice to be competent, compassionate and common-sensed. Straightforward business procedures at the desk. Service is always quick and to-the-point. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for a good PCP.

Convenient evening hours. All the doctors are good but Dr Arbuckle is amazing! Great bedside manner, super friendly and all around great doctor! They take approximately 35 different health insurances. I highly recommend this doctors office.

Would not recommend this practice. The doctors are great, however the office staff is draconian. They do not accept credit cards and you must make an appointment to get a prescription refilled - no calling in and simply getting a refill. They held onto a check we issued to them for more than a month. We changed banks and when they finally did cash the check, it was returned. Instead of simply picking up the phone and calling us, we got a scathing letter threatening us with legal action. Parking is never a problem however as the parking lot was always empty when we went there.

My husband was set for surgery today and about a month ago his surgeon gave him a book with everything needed to do before the day of surgery. His primary care doc was Dr Arbuckle. His primary care doc was the last to see to get cleared for surgery. A week and a half before surgery my husband went to see him and after reading his labs decided my husband needed to see a blood Dr. Which he could have done if Dr Arbuckle didn’t wait until the day before surgery to tell him that. Dr Arbuckle also NEVER contacted the surgeon until at my direction, the surgeon called Dr Arbuckle. This Dr has no respect or consideration for anyone but himself. This surgery means the difference between living and existing for my husband. Thank God that our surgeon went to bat for my husband getting him cleared for surgery. The surgeon and the oncologist together cleared my husband. Dr Arbuckles office did nothing to move this by process along. There was zero communication unless I initiated it. We will be using a new family dr. Doesn’t matter how good a dr you are, if there is no follow up or follow through….
My husband is having surgery today, no thanks to Family Practice of Honey Brook.
