Extremely helpful and amazing people. Nobody is a miracle worker so have realistic expectations and be kind to each other please. They always do their best to help.

When you need food, they are there. But look up the times they are open.

Handicapped accessible, food pantry. help for utilities shut off notices, if behind on rent. They helped me get a pair of glasses once.

Working with them now. Have done some much needed repairs, got new pellet stove, refrigerator. Carbon monoxide tester, light bulbs, another test we had to keep in house for 6 months, all good on that.
Now they will get rid of mold and insulation next. Waiting to hear on these!

They are fantastic and very helpful at all times if you qualify, it's very helpful for people who are in need and can't afford food

The people who assisted me were just wonderful, patient and kind. I had to use the food shelf due to my inability to work following a recent surgery and the whole process was like a well-oiled machine. I recommend this organization to anyone who is in need.

I remember when things were tough about 2 months ago. Got to the point where I was wondering where or how to get food. Then several people recommended going to BROC for assistance. So I went to broc and applied. Boom! Food shelf open 10am to noon Mon thru Friday. Items in main lobby available to everyone. I also applied for other assistance and am waiting for decision. The staff at broc are extremely helpful and willing to assist people who apply. Definitely an invaluable community resource. There's absolutely no need to go hungry. If you need help go to broc at 45 union st. Rutland Vt.

They offer so much to the community an are always are always in a chipper mood. The evergreen center is also in the same building an for someome that needs help with addiction or just a place to figure out what help theybneed an where to get it good place to start.

They are willing to work with you and we'll get you in as soon as they can to help with whatever problem you have. Also, they have bread available every day and you are allowed to get food once a month

There is not another organization like BROC Community Action in Rutland and Bennington Counties that offers so many programs and services under one roof. It is a great community resource and the staff help you through your situation whether it's needing food or wanting to start your own business.

Dedicated and caring staff that treat ever person with respect and dignity while providing critical services and a path forward out of poverty for Vermonters in Rutland and Bennington County.
