Café 1500

Excellent Saturday brunch option. We had the Brie app, and it was very good. For our mains we had Benedict with pork belly, pork belly huevos rancheros, and California omelet. We were all very pleased with our selections. It's not often you get really good coffee in restaurants these days, but theirs is top notch, and we are particular about our coffee. We'll be back! Highly recommend.

I had my bachelorette brunch here a while back and I have been DREAMING about their crabcake Benedict!! I felt compelled to come back and write a review. It was absolutely heavenly. The hollandaise sauce was light and buttery, and the crabcake had very little filler! The entire dish tasted very fresh! They even accommodated my pregnancy by making the eggs “Hard-Poached” (not runny), and offered off menu Mock-Tales! I love this place and can’t wait to come back!

Went during happy hour and our drinks (which were crafted there) were a dollar or less! My friend had her drink completely comped! Not sure if that was intentional, but we didn't argue lol the food was very good although limited as they were missing ingredients for several dishes. The atmosphere is very nice and trendy. Would love to have another girls night there sometime.

Outstanding 6 Course Fall Menu Tasting this evening! An incredible tasting of food and libation for under $60 (early on line registration). A few of the courses...the roasted sweet potato and pickled pomegranate was a pleasant surprise to the kale salad. The seared scallop spoke for itself, one of my favs. Words cannot describe the five-hour braised short ribs...flavorful, fork tender and melted in my mouth like soft butter on warm toast. My absolute favorite of the evening! The final course was Apple - White Chocolate Bread Pudding. Need I say more? The signature cocktail was a Good Fellow. A perfect cocktail for a fall evening although it was rather warm in Harrisburg tonight. I highly recommend the Cafe 1500 American Bistro for a business lunch, intimate dinner or group gathering. If you have the opportunity to experience a rooftop event, don't pass it up. The prices are reasonable and service is on point. But don't take my word for it, go and find out for yourself.

First time we went here we fell in love and we come back once a month for a Sunday brunch. Always great food, excellent service and wonderful atmosphere. Must try!

This place has an incredible menu that changes every season. Great staff both service and behind the bar. I've eaten here probably 2 dozen times and have never had a bad meal. Sunday brunch is great. Don't forget to get a special cocktail.

The big bottom mimosas are awesome and their brunch food is absolutely delicious! There’s usually a bit of wait if you’re trying to get a seat but if you go to the bar you can usually get in right away with no wait.

Best brunch I've ever had! I've been to cafe 1500 a handful of times before, but today's brunch was out of this world! Hats off to the chef. The wait staff was fantastic as well!!

Fantastic! If you are in a rush definitely get a reservation, but bar top service rotates pretty quickly.

We were very pleased with the outcome of our dinner trip here on a Friday night. It doesn't seem to get too busy, the atmosphere is calm and the ambience is nice. The food is unique and very good. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated to ensure you have a good experience. The art available for purchase on the walls are also a perk. We will be going back.

Homemade donuts! Wow!! Bloody Marys are incredible. You don't want to miss this place.

It was really good food! I ordered the salmon Benedict and it was delicious! I got a side of grits and they were a little bland but very cheesy so with some salt, amazing! I did have an issue with my food (found an eggshell) but they were quick to apologize and even comped my meal. Very satisfied with the experience overall and will go back with friends!

The Brunch menu is fantastic! I had a difficult time deciding what to order because it all looked amazing. The Doughnut French Toast is everything you could wish for! There service was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the cocktails were creative and tasteful. The atmosphere is a tad on the noisy side, not great for a brunch date as you'll be shouting to be heard.

Came here for a business dinner after seeing good Google reviews. Overall the atmosphere is relaxed and open though a little large for my tastes. Very clean though.

Service was excellent and they had a good signature cocktail list along with a full service bar that can make all the classic drinks. We sampled many items on the menu and everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. Especially try the pork belly, and the French toast dessert.

Overall I give it 5/5 due to just an outstanding combination of service and food. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a non-chain restaurant in Harrisburg.

Great brunch and bloodies! One of the best places around.

Cafe 1500 is always very enjoyable. Love the rotating community art features! All the staff is super friendly and keeping within covid guidelines. I adore coming here for a quick lunch with friends! Their outside deck is wonderful and shaded. Traffic isn’t noticeable while dining. Plenty of free street parking around. Menu has lots of options for different palates. Service is quick and personable as well! The kitchen is very helpful and accommodating to allergies and preferences!

Went here for brunch as soon as they opened on a Sunday with my partner and her best friend. It was a fantastic experience from the quality of the food, the portions, the attentiveness if the staff to the atmosphere were all amazing. Would definitely recommend the brunch to everyone.

This place is a solid brunch option. You should make reservations in advance unless you're ok with sitting at the bar. The big bottom.mimosa is the way to go if there's more than one person having mimosas in your party, and the bloody Mary specials are always interesting.
