Great place with welcoming owners, tasty food, and fantastic coffee!

The new owners renamed the place and the food is delicious. Lots of choices. They roast their own coffee beans and make a variety of drinks. Prices are incredibly reasonable and the atmosphere is welcoming. What's not to like?

Wow, I have to say this is one of the nicest casual cafe restaurants I've been in. However I try visiting establishments as the best possible time like 7am on a Tuesday morning.... no 35 minute wait for me!
I'm in the area and was looking for something uniquely savory for breakfast. To my luck, this was the closest restaurant to me, nor have i had tomato in a pie. Oddly though I recenty tried tomato pie in Pottstown two weeks ago, so it must be tomato pie season in my life fight now. This is actually tomatoes in a pie with cheese vs square pizza with only fresh sauce/no cheese.
Anyway it was a beautiful warm sunny spring morning, and the restaurant's atmosphere made my breakfast experience even more enjoyable. The sun shining through the large glass windows made the spacious and abundant seating really welcoming. I kind of want to stay and just read a book! There are 3 other groups of customers, but I feel I could get comfortably lost in solace.
As for the food, I thought it was great! I opted for the regular tomato pie slice ($8) that included greens (spring mix) with a side of balsamic dressing (homemade I'm sure), and two mini herb scones. I never eat salad with breakfast, but the lettuce was perfectly fresh. Dressing good. Mini scones tasty too. They offer individual tomato pies for $6.75 sans the sides. The pie was a synergistically delicious blend of commonly consumed ingredients but served in a refreshingly new style... for me at leasf. Idk if tomato pies are a Harrisburg thing.

So cute. So trendy. So Ikeaish. And yummy. The only downfall was the slow service to get our food. If you are in a rush, it may be best if you wait for another day.

Came in at end of day and placed an order to go. Staff was so gracious and kind. Coffee ordered was iced vanilla latte and cortado and both were delicious. We ordered the BLT and ham and Brie to go. Both sandwiches were excellent. Great atmosphere too. We will be back to sit for awhile with our next order!

Tomato Pie Cafe is one of the best and finest cafe we had in the long time.

1. Quality food
2. Awesome taste
3. Very friendly staff
4. Lovely and ambient environment
5. Lots of options especially like Gluten free and varieties of food to choose from.

On top of this the recipes were not loaded with sugar which we really loved. This made the whole experience a totally satisfying one. We will always visit this cafe whenever we travel to or via Harrisburg.

Honey Lavendar Fog - same family as a London Fog was very good! Flower design on top of the foam was made of honey. Made with whole milk & very creamy!

Delicious food and coffee, amazing staff, and spacious seating! What more could you ask for? Also very affordable prices.
My husband and I were about to get on the road back home to ohio and we found this place. This is exactly what we were looking for when we searched for breakfast spots near us.
My husband and I both got the pretzel bun sandwich with egg, bacon, and spinach and a side of rosemary potatoes. I’m glad we got the raspberry dressing on the side of the sandwich because we weren’t really a fan of it. No biggie, everyone has different taste buds! We got a hazelnut latte to share along with a strawberry smoothie. So delicious.
We even were drooling over what other people were getting lol.
Thank you for such a good experience, Tomato Pie Cafe!!!

Great place for breakfast/brunch! Today was my first visit to this spot. I went with a friend that I hadn’t seen in a while and we had a wonderful time. I absolutely love the decor and all the different seating options. We came early on a Saturday around 9 AM and the place was mostly empty when we arrive but full by the time we left. I tried the spinach artichoke tomato pie based on the reviews and it tasted very good although it didn’t look like the most appetizing thing in the world. We also tried the chicken sausage which was phenomenal! Very flavorful! I had a cold brew with milk and honey which I highly recommend. Our server was very helpful and took care of us well. My mother said she recently visited this place for lunch and thought it was overpriced and the food was an impressive, but I had a good experience. Maybe their breakfast/brunch is better, so if you’ve been before for lunch give it another try.

Lovely find. First really healthy options I've spotted on a menu since coming to the States - particularly loved the ancient grains and kale as an alternative to the traditional full English breakfast side of beans.
The staff were very friendly and I'd happily recommend this to anyone!

First time here... Enjoyed our lattes and quiche with tomato soup... It was very good. Freshly made, taste, and flavors excellent.. We will be back again. Staff was also attentive and helpful to our needs.

Been meaning to write a review here, due to the fact that I've been going here since it first opened. I visit often as my friends and I congregate here for meet-up lunches when we're back from our respective colleges.

First off: Lovely, lovely concept that is executed well. The decor is "rustic-DIY meets coffee hipsters". The ambience is casual although if you were to dress up a bit, no one would bat an eye. There is an abundance of seating although if you come during peak rushes, you may have to wait a bit for a table. The menu is very different from what is offered in the area, which you might LOVE or find irksome. The staff is either super friendly (I might be biased as a lot of the servers used to go to my high school) or does enough to make you feel taken care of at first but that's it.

I'll warn anyone that is a huge meat eater: your options will be limited, so don't come here unless you have an open mind and or are into trying new things!

I can't offer any recommendations as I get items from their monthly menus, although I'll always advocate that you MUST try their lemonades; especially the seasonal ones! They offer delicious and attractive pastries in a huge case towards the almost-back area, I've never had any of them but I know one day I'll jump the gun and go for one (it's hard to have room for desserts when you find yourself ordering a drink and two entrees because you can't make up your mind!)

I had a lovely breakfast here this morning. The name "Tomato Pie Cafe" intrigued us, and when we found out we could, in fact, eat tomato pie, we were in. The breakfast was scrumptious. We ordered the tomato pie flipper which was the pie filling wrapped up in three eggs sort of fritatta style. The butternut squash was absolutely delectable and my mocha was adorable and delicious. We were out of town and missed that you grab your own silverware but our server was kind enough to bring us some. Love everyone's black hats too! Cute style choice!

First of all, their name itself, catches your attention.. doesn't it? Let's start off by saying this had to have been one of the best brunches I've had, ever. I ordered their TPC Croissant. It was perfection. I hardly rave about food like this. The croissant was specifically made for this sandwich. It wasn't a crescent shape, but a bun shape. Ingredients were fresh. My first bite was piping hot!! I also enjoyed their sourdough toast served with homemade? raspberry jam. Service was amazing. In response to the reviews about their lack of service, it was NOT evident during out visit. Our host, waitress were very courteous, and refilled my house coffee several times. Prices were very reasonable and way cheaper than brunch in NYC. So glad we decided to skip breakfast at the hotel and try this spot.

The best cappuccino I’ve ever had. Traveled all over the US and a few countries.. crazy good here. I’ve only come here for breakfast and I get excited every time. They have a nice variety of choices for food and drinks.

Beautiful place. Very kind staff, decor is beautiful and very cozy. Atmosphere is very relaxing. Nice oasis. Delicious dessert, coffee options and food. Please note-the tomato pie is fresh and tasty but NOT anything like pizza. Picture a traditional apple pie, but substitute diced tomatoes for the apple, and the top crust is mild cheese. Seasoned well, nice presentation. We will return in the future. Worth a visit!

This place is now The Table. It’s a bright, airy cafe with a Nordic feel (blond wood tables, industrial/hygge vibe). Service was friendly and efficient. Espresso drinks outstanding. The food was great, too, especially the Norwegian pancakes and waffles. Overall, the menu has the breakfast and lunch classics with foodie touches. Worth a detour. Note: this is not a place where you’ll get a gigantic breakfasts.

Pros: Pumpkin pecan pancakes with real maple syrup along with oatmilk latte were worth the wait! Relaxing comfortable atmosphere. Friendly staff.
They grind their own beans and it’s brewed quite strong. I requested less espresso in my drink and it was perfect.

Cons: Have to wait in line to order and only one checkout. Sometimes line is out the door.
