Cascades Lodge

After reading a mix of reviews, I approached my stay at Cascade Lodge with an open mind and was pleasantly surprised. It seems some previous visitors may not have fully appreciated the charm and purpose of a ski lodge. In my experience, Cascade Lodge delivers exactly what it promises: a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment perfect for ski enthusiasts or anyone looking to enjoy the mountain.

The lodge offers spacious accommodations with a variety of community areas that invite guests to relax and connect after a day on the slopes. It's not a 5-star luxury hotel, nor does it pretend to be one. Instead, Cascade Lodge provides a cozy, rustic charm that fits perfectly with its ski lodge identity.

Breakfast might not be the highlight, but the lodge doesn’t oversell this aspect, and the daily replenished juice is a thoughtful touch. Despite some reviews criticizing the water quality, the lodge thoughtfully provides a water filling station at the front, ensuring guests have access to clean drinking water.

The staff at Cascade Lodge are easy-going and incredibly helpful, adding to the overall positive experience of my stay. Their laid-back yet attentive approach made me feel right at home.

For anyone considering a visit, remember that Cascade Lodge is a wonderful ski lodge close to the mountains, not a luxury hotel. It excels at being a comfortable, friendly base for your skiing adventures. I highly recommend it to those looking for a genuine lodge experience and am already looking forward to my next stay.

This place is perfect for a ski weekend. It’s as described so you know what you’re getting. The beds are a tight squeeze for 2 people but it’s possible and the rooms are perfectly suitable. The granola bars and juice are given for breakfast. The rooms are cleaned daily and the staff are very friendly too. Parking is free which is a plus but the walk to the ski base is insanely close so the location is perfect for a weekend trip

Cascade Lodge's dated appearance is accurately represented in the photos, so it's unfair for people to criticize its age. While it may not boast contemporary aesthetics, it compensates with its cleanliness, comfort, and affordability. The lodge's charm lies in its simplicity, providing a cozy retreat for travellers seeking a ski getaway. Despite its older design, Cascade Lodge delivers on its promise of a comfortable stay without any unpleasant surprises. We had a lovely view from our balcony, in room coffee and granola bars for breakfast/snack on the mountain.

Myself and the group I came with would come back, it was the perfect little spot for a weekend in mount killington!

I stayed here just a few weeks ago, in December 2021. First, I will say that everything in this lodge is pretty awesome. Yes, it is a tad outdated, but it is in excellent condition, was renovated, extremely clean, and warm. There are no weird smells or nasty stains. People that work here are lovely and helpful. The service is excellent. Food is delicious. The bar is fun and has all you need including pool table. We enjoyed the swim in the beautifully clean and warm pool and jacuzzi. It is super close to the mountains; we walked daily. The only few notes that I might have are that the mattresses and pillows are tough, very hard. While mattresses are expensive to change, I would recommend that the owners invest in new pillows. If you are driving here, grab your favorite pillows for a better night rest :) other than that, enjoy this wonderful place for a very affordable price! Nothing can beat a full breakfast and the pool!

I LOVED Cascades Lodge. The room was comfortable and it was very close to the ski resort. The breakfast buffett was generous and the food was amazing. I was originally disappointed that I couldn't get a room at a fancier resort but Cascades was exceptional. My room was always very neat and clean upon returning from a day of skiing and it was walking distance to a couple of great resteraunts. I would definitely seek them out to stay there again.

I have been going here since I was a little girl and have loved it very much, it has always been a second home to me and my family and cannot wait to take my future family here one day!

Accommodations are great with wonderful amenities (heated pool and hot tub); not to mention I have never met such kind-hearted people when it comes to the owner and employees.

The Owner maintained the facility very well. The blanket were very clean, and when I said to the owner that I was cold in the room, she provided an extra heater. The swimming pool and jacuzzi was awesome!

Great room, pool, hot tub, sauna. Friendly and helpful staff. Coolest little bar, great food. Rock throw distance from the slopes. It's a lodge not a 5 star attraction.

A real nice comfy type place. Skiing is great at Killington. They have a bus/van that drives you there and picks you up and back to lodge. They lodge is very clean and well kept

Great location, excellent amenities, and helpful service. We got to sneak back a little early from the hill and have a nice time poolside. The receptionist is extra kind and will help you whenever possible.

Great deals on ski lifts and stay. Right across from Killington resort, a little older resort but hot tub is nice, the breakfast is great and high on value.

One of the best places to stay at when you visit Killington ski resort the hotel staff was awesome when you finish your day of skiing there is a pool and jacuzzi or sauna to relax at all so the next morning they have the best continental breakfast you can also play pool around the bar overall awesome time with the family

Decent place clean, needs more outlets for shared rooms but all in all not bad
