Great shop to deal with. Very honest, knowledgeable and accommodating. I bought ski's through their Ski Essentials site and they did the final setup quickly and with out issue. My daughter had a few issues with sizing and the fact that her shipment had been damaged. We expected a runaround but their company was great and this shop was fantastic! Robb & McKinley were great to deal with, offered her another pair, and also gave their honest input on the proper size (which was one up at no extra cost) and then got her set up and on the slopes that morning. We couldn't ask for more. They really cared about our experience, went over and above, as well as wanting to make sure we left their shop extremely satisfied (we are). We can't say enough about these guys! If you're in the Killington area area and have a question on ski's, boots or other gear, stop in, they are really great, genuine people to deal with and can really help.

Great shop and experience! When my cousin had the wrong socks and subsequent trouble fitting her boots, we came back and Bill was extremely helpful! He immediately saw us and fixed the issue all while being very personable. Have been going here the past 2 years and definitely will continue doing so.

i have been renting here for 3 years whenever we come up to killington and always have a very quick, easy and helpful experience. this weekend after my second day renting i was having a ton of trouble getting my ski boots on. my friends and i tried for an hour to get them on but eventually decided to go back to basin for help. a very nice gentlman named Bill was an incredible help, showed me a few reasons why the boot may not be fitting, then was able to get my boot on in under 5 mins. after i tried for an hour. Bill was very kind and helpful and we were able to get back on the slopes very quickly. thank you so much we will be renting here for years to come.

The gentlemen upstairs in the ski boot shop are professional, knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, and most notably - eager to help. They listen closely to their customers and will do whatever it takes to ensure they are comfortable in their boots. I came in with a challenge (with my WIDE feet), and they worked together to find a pair of boots and mold them to where they are more comfortable than most of my shoes. Thank you!

Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, expert level staff. I learned quite a bit about skis just listening to an amazing man talk and help me narrow down the best options.
They have fair prices too. Don’t order online and wait and pay shipping when you can have your gear immediately.

I walked into this shop because I've had foot pain (thanks to flat & wide feet) from all types of ski boots over the years and wanted to finally find a solution. I was helped over several days by several of the staff, and now my ski boots don't cause me pain. It's obvious that the people here are experts in their field, and I was sincerely blown away by their service.

I have been coming to the Basin since I was a kid. It has that iconic look of a real ski shop with incredibly knowledgeable staff. Jean is one of the most helpful people I've ever met. They definitely are known for incredible ski gear but their summer stock is pretty amazing too! Thank you all for great service for 25+ years!

We bought boots from him a year ago and returned yesterday to get them adjusted. The fact that he’s willing to help out an old client shows that his pride in his handy work transcends time.

Demo Program - I did a 2 day demo program and was looking for a bit of guidance on finding a ski that was a good fit for my abilities and style of skiing. The staff in this store were nothing short of great. Very friendly, knowledgeable, passionate about skiing and helpful. While my skis the first day were good, the one guy named Smith who I worked with the 2nd day really helped me fine tune and get an even better and stiffer ski that fit my style like a glove. Overall great service, great equipment and great experience.

Fantastic bootfitting shop. Super knowledgeable and good selection of alpine and 50/50 touring boots. (They don’t specialize in the lightweight touring stuff.) wouldn’t buy boots anywhere else!

Everybody helps you as soon as you walk in. They have plenty of snowboard and ski apparel. I love that I have plenty of options to choose from. Jerry was very knowledgeable and helpful. He helped us get the right skis... This is my husbands go to place for ski tuning and repairs. I highly recommend this store.

Large and high-quality selection of skis, boots and gear compared to other shops in the area. I had an impossible time finding skis and boots for my size in the NY area. Despite it being pretty late in the season, I was able to get a fantastic ski package from Basin Sports. Excellent customer service from Jerry and Steve. Friendly folks who know their stuff. I was really happy with my skis and boots that I purchased from them. Highly recommend this shop if you're in the Killington area.

Spoke to Bill Curry on the phone to get some help with my bindings. He may have been the most knowledgable person regarding bindings that I've ever spoken to. He walked me through everything I needed over the phone!

I'll clarify that I haven't actually been into the shop but if you are looking for someone who knows bindings inside and out, give Bill a call!

After ordering from 2 different online stores and having our order cancelled days after, I found Basin Ski online which had the upgraded version ski I was looking for at the same price I was going to pay for the lesser one. I called to make sure they had the ski in stock. They told me they did and put it aside for me until the online order was processed. I was shocked when the skis arrived 2 days later. They came well packaged and just as described. Thank you so much, will use again even if they aren’t the lowest price!

Everyone here was great and thorough ensuring this newbie was set up for a great weekend of skiing! Their hours and ability to pick up the night before made it very convenient! I highly recommend giving these guys a try for your next rental needs!

This is the best ski shop I have ever been to. All the staff are extremely knowledgeable and know what they are doing. After I purchased boots from here and got my skis a custom park tune, I decided that it was worth the drive as long as I had the time to make it here and receive superior service.

The boot fitters here are actually the best. I have gotten boot fitting from multiple shops and no shop was able to find a boot that fitted nearly as well as they were here. On top of that they do custom soles mold to your feet perfectly after a day or two of skiing.

I have gotten tunes before, and no shop does it as efficiently and as well as they did here. They were done within 10 minutes and the tune felt nicer than any other tune I had ever received.
