I recently visited forerunner, and I was impressed by the fantastic deals on high-quality gear. The staff's knowledge was remarkable, providing insightful recommendations based on my skill level and preferences. Additionally, even while the shop was crowded with customers the quick service made my shopping experience enjoyable. I highly recommend this ski shop and working with Brian was super easy and quick.

Great shop, rented gear here for less than half the price of rental shop at the mountain - both skis and snowboards in our case, (after renting from mountain on first day). Helpful staff too to accommodate our large group. Thanks!

Brian is the best boot fitter!! I almost quit skiing yesterday with fulcrum vacuums. After an hour meet with the boss ingot to ski for a whole day no issue.

If I could give higher I would. Everyone in there is friendly, polite, helpful and go beyond typical customer service. And, most importantly, their rental equipment is great with lots of options &they asked a lot of questions to be sure we had the right stuff. Also helped us out with some new equipment we needed at discounted costs since we were renting. I've been to other shops and this is the best IMHO. All shops are half the Killington rentals prices but way more bang for your buck here. Thanks for everything, made a great ski trip even better!

A good friend scheduled an appointment with Brian Smith there to buy ski boots. I had not purchased boots in 12 years. Brian spent not just time with me, but QUALITY time. He is knowledgeable, patient, customer-oriented, and a good listener. He knows how to use every possible tech tool to mold your feet to your boot. I went skiing in Killington, then to Utah a week later, and the boots are excellent. Skiing is not inexpensive, so you feel great when you spend that money with someone who not only knows what he is doing but cares that you are happy. Go to him if you want it done right!

Have rented from this family business a few times and always had great personal service. Took things to a new level this season and purchased vacuum custom fitted Fischer boots and an ex-rental set of planks, Brian and his team looked after me extremely well with honest, clear advice and suggestions. Highly recommended for great value and service

I walked down the street to get here from Killington Mtn. Lodge while on a College Club trip.

I called ahead to get some information regarding a third party Ski boot insole fitting.

The shop is two stories with retail below and rental upstairs (I did not go upstairs). Plenty of quality equipment, clothing and accessories at reasonable prices. I spotted a few sales too!

Brain selected a third party insole, fitted it to my foot, adjusted my Full Tilt Boot cables and heal pieces, heat molded my linear all in about a half hour. All of this was done during a great conversation about equipment, boot technology, local mountain knowledge, and industry / ski trip stories.

In regards to my comfort in my boots, I came in having a numb / tingling pain in foot when riding on a pair of boots I bought 3 months prior. The next day I rode was worse than before I got fitted. The following weekend I left for Utah and rode 8 days straight open to close and my feet felt amazing!!

Great shop! Picked up my wife’s ski’s in less then 10 minutes. Friendly and knowledgeable help with the fitment. Solid pricing, would recommend anyone that needs gear to stop here for all they need.

I originally came to Forerunner to rent some skis for my nieces, and get mine tuned. The store was very clean and I was greeted with excellent customer service. One of the employees fit my nieces for the right size skis while another tuned mine. They gave my nieces some tips on skiing and when we returned them we were all asked about our time on the mountain. The management team is also very informative. This shop seems to be run by professionals, and I can say with certainty that I will be back.

I bought a pair of 2017/18 Black Crow Vertis Birdies from Brian at Forerunner this weekend, and couldn't be happier with the experience. Brian took great care in learning about my ski style before recommending that I demo this ski for a full day. Sure enough his assessment was spot on-- they were perfect for me and I bought them same day, he even hooked me up with some awesome bindings when I purchased. I would highly recommend this shop if you are in the market for new equipment and value quality service and knowledgeable sellers.

I was looking to upgrade skis for the upcoming seasons. Forerunner Ski Shop had exactly what I want, with tons of other options. I also had a question about my product and emailed them after business hours stated and got a response within 10 minutes. Awesome deals and even better customer service.
