230 Cafe

We were on our way to the airport and find this place to grab a bite for lunch…and it was so good! It’s a simple place, very busy with lots of locals, but welcoming and friendly and great food! My husband ordered chicken strips that came with two sides: he ordered coleslaw and fries. I ordered a cordon bleu wrap which came with chips and a dill pickle spear.

That wrap was so loaded with delicious chicken and thin sliced ham and cheese, and a honey mustard sauce, which they brought an extra container of for adding extra. I loved it, and it really filled me up!

Husband enjoyed his Chicken strips and fries and really liked the traditional creamy coleslaw.

It appeared they had some “to die for” desserts, and some were ordering slices of pie and other forms of goodness to go.
Next time I might just need to stop in for dessert!

I been a regular customer for some time now, the food is great, the service is fast and friendly. The pies and cakes are homemade and delicious (especially the orange dream cake🤤), the servings are large and the specials are really special (their roadkill special is yummy 😉) Saturdays and Sundays are usually packed and parking is tight but well worth the wait and besides the servers have a great sense of humor and go the extra mile to make sure your happy with your meal(which unfortunately has become a rare thing these days). Try it once and I promise you'll be back again.😁

We have lived in the area for a couple of years but finally managed to go today. Very welcoming atmosphere and friendly and attentive staff! Our waitress was so sweet and kept making my son smile. The food was delicious--seriously the best French toast I've ever had, and I have had a lot! The orange juice was great. Everything was perfectly done and the portions are large! My husband couldn't believe the amount of bacon he was given either.

It isn't the largest space but I think that's what helps give it its welcoming, homey vibe. They definitely have regular costumers and they were kind, too. Think this will be our breakfast place!

The steak and cheese omelette is so mouth watering. The food was made to perfection I am not huge on breakfast but this was just amazing and the old fashion feel was great. The waiter new everyone that came in. Love it!!

Chicken Parmesan and country fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. Great portions! Small but quaint place to eat.

Best diner in the area. I've been going here going on 10 years I believe. The staff is always pleasant. The food is fantastic and you can't beat the prices. It gives you a mom and pop feel eating here and those are some of the best experiences when dining if you ask me. Highly recommend.

Came in on a weekday morning for breakfast. Robin was my server and she was great. The food came out quickly. Everybody around was very friendly. I got the breakfast wrap with homefries plus onion. And a sticky bun freshly baked with nuts. Will be back and do recommend. Not just a locals only spot, even though that's how they make everyone feel!

Warm ,welcoming, professional waitress. Food was hot and fresh, homefries to remember ,not overcooked sitting on the flat top like other diners in the area.

Please skip the fast food options and stop in at the 230 Cafe. The food is excellent, staff is extremely friendly and great prices.

230 Cafe catered our wedding at Melhorn Manor on October 29, 2023 and everything was delicious! We were absolutely blown away at our tasting, it was hard to choose what to serve since it was all so good! They did our wedding cake as well. I don’t like cake, but I like their cake! My guests enjoyed the food as well and loved that it wasn’t your typical and sometimes boring wedding food. Nate and Ashley were so easy and nice to work with and their staff was great and everything went smoothly! We can’t wait to visit the restaurant in the future and enjoy the food again. Thank you for everything!

Connie is a excellent server. Food is excellent and portions are big. I rate this place a 10.

Super awesome cozy little restuarant here in Highspire. It's a favorite among locals. The staff is wonderful. I stopped by for breakfast. I would highly recommend.

I've been to breakfast to this dinner 3 times straight cause the breakfast was awesome and delicious. The staff are really nice and friendly, the atmosphere is quiet even the customers are nice, yes I would recommend this dinner to people

Amazing little diner right on the main street. We had Filet mignon and buffalo chicken and everything was so good.
Highly recommend everyone check them out for some great food.

A small hole in the wall dinner, despite being small they do have Google pay. The service was outstanding but the food is what really shines. I had the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn fitters. Everything was perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and done quickly. My wife had the country fried steak, Mac and cheese, and stewed tomatoes, each done perfectly as well. Highly recommend, bring your appetite or expect to take home a box.

The food was so delicious. I was surprised how much came on the plate and the price is very affordable. I would highly recommend it if someone were to ask me where they could get great food for a decent price. I would give more stars of if I could. 10/10

Great little cafe we stopped at for breakfast coming home from vacation. The food was very good and the waitress was friendly and efficient. I recommend stopping here if you are in the area!
