Studio 101 in Hair Lab

Cassie is a hair whisperer! She taught me more about my hair, how to take care of it, and what's possible in terms of styling than all of my previous stylists combined. She listened to me and took time to understand what I liked and didn't like about my old cut and color. Then she worked her magic! I walked about of her salon (which is a very pleasant place to spend time and includes a mountain view) feeling excited and beautiful because of the cut and color Cassie did.

Only 5 stars for Cassie! My hair is thick, curly, and graying and was so over bleached and damaged when I started coming to Cassie. Through her knowledge, skills, and experience she has gotten my hair to look and feel better than it has in years! She has also become a dear friend because of her kindness and genuine love of others. She’s the BEST!

Cassie and maddy are so fun and sweet and so incredibly knowledgeable about hair. They have done amazing color for me multiple times now and also provide a great place for my daughter to get her blowouts done. Its always a fun environment and lovely chat with the girls.

Maddy is IT! I’ve seen multiple stylists and I’ll stay with her as long as I’m getting my hair done. Always impressed and happy with her work. She’s great conversation too. Cassie is the other stylist in this salon and while I don’t get my hair done with her I’ve seen multiple clients get theirs done while there and they’re always lookin beautiful too. 10/10 would recommend these ladies :)

Cassie has changed my life! I’ve struggled with my curly hair my whole life but after seeing Cassie all that has changed. I love the cut and color and feel prepared to tackle and do my curly hair on my own. I’ve had strangers compliment my curls which hasn’t happened in years and I feel so confident in embracing my curls. Literally the best haircut I’ve ever had.

Also their space is so nice and cute! AND the hair sink bowl is the most comfortable thing I’ve ever sat in! I got a hair mask which was heavenly and a chance to relax and watch the clouds roll by! If there was more stars I would have used them! Thank you! Thank you! :)

After months of pandemic hair, my appointment with Cassie was amazing. She returned my hair to its healthy youthfulness with an absolutely perfect cut and such shiny, natural color. I truly cannot say enough about Cassie’s talent and their exceptional products—If you could have seen the transformation, you would know how much she cares about perfecting each strand! I absolutely love my haircut from Studio 101! Maddy was amazing and so nice. My hair is very curly and long (difficult to deal with) and she made my hair look amazing. She rocked it like a boss. Their studio was also very clean and looked welcoming. I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely go back for another appointment.

Cass and Maddy are absolutely wonderful! I’ve been going to see them for 4 years now and they always take such great care of me. I have extremely thick (and challenging lol) curly hair and they somehow know how to wrangle the beast and leave me feeling smoother and prettier! Studio 101 is an impressive hair salon. The two owner operators are immensely professional, and talented. Maddie, the stylist who helped me own my gray and transition to wearing my hair naturally gray after years of coloring my hair was patient, professional and amazing. Her colleague also helped with the assessment and support of the process before and during the color correction. My mother who has been in the hair industry for 30 years felt it was too challenging of an endeavor to do the color correction and when she saw Maddie’s magic and work of art she was extremely impressed! I have been working with Cassie for more than six years now and I have nothing but love and praise for her. Talented, caring, knowledgeable, kind, stylish, diligent, professional, friendly and dedicated are some of the words I would use to describe Cassie Dean.

I have very resistant gray hair that grows very quickly, so I am in her salon often.

She is always a joy to work with, has an extensive skill set when it comes to hair, knows her products and what it takes to keep my brunette hair brown. She is always diligently asking me questions to make sure I get the services I really need and want.

I am so impressed with her work, that even though I have moved away to Texas, I come back to her in SLC when I can arrange it. I trust her skill set more than most stylists that I have worked with in Utah and Texas.

What an delight Maddy is!! I had my hair cut by a stylist I've been seeing for years and years but I've never been truly happy and this last time was the worst. I needed someone to fix it and Maddy made me feel so amazing. She took the time to get familiar with my hair, ask me all the questions and truly listen to what i want. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Studio 101 and Cassie! She is a master at her craft. Cassie's been doing my curly/wavy hair for about 15 years. It's because of her that I finally embraced my waves/curls. I don't trust anyone else with my hair. Maddy is awesome, too, and they work so well together. Your search is over. This is the place to go to for your hair. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

Cassie has been my stylist for over a decade and simply put she is the absolute best. My hair is my #1 beauty play arena and I am always looking to change it up. I rarely go in with a clear picture of what I want and I understand very little of the intricate art and science of it all, but without fail Cassie takes my half-formed idea of what I want and turns it into perfection. She's amazing, and she knows how to do what will work for her clients once they leave her salon.

To say that I left my appointment with Maddy with hair that not only looked, but felt amazing, would be an extreme understatement!
She was so incredibly detailed-oriented and exhibited such dedication to protecting every stand of my hair while simultaneously preserving my vision, which she successfully brought to fruition.

After being disappointed with my stylist after a long relationship, I was pointed in this direction and it has honestly been the best life event for my hair and sanity, ever! Both Maddie and Cassie have done my hair! Blonde can be tricky, but both of them handle it like a pro! I love the tone and brightness they are able to create! Also, great hair cuts, blowouts and styling tips. And, their space is lovely and fresh. Both of these ladies are delightful and I love spending the day with them. They both also cut my husband's hair. He likes it "choppy", both of them understand this "Ryan Reynolds"-type cut and are great at it. We love them both and highly recommend.

Cassie is incredible! She taught me more about my naturally curly hair in 2 hours than I've learned in 50+ years of dealing with it!! She also taught me some easy styling tips that will make my curls better without adding much additional time to my "wash and wear" routine. She definitely knows her stuff and is willing to share her knowledge with her clients so they can get great results at home. This was my first visit, but I will certainly be returning!!
