St Madeline Parish

Beautiful church. Held my great aunts funeral there and it was amazingly beautiful. And the staff is very helpful

What a special church. We went to a funeral mass there last Wed. and it was one of the most beautifully well-kept churches in our area. You can feel the love when you walk in. I am drawn to go and visit again.

I went to St Madeline school in the 1940s.and 50s. We had grades 1 thru 8 and our 1st grade class stayed together all 8 years with a very few who moved and a few who came.
Sister William Francis was our first grade teacher. A few years later she was sent on a mission to South America and some of us got
pen pals who we corresponded with for years
We had a reunion about 25 years ago and most of our original class actually showed up! We all loved our childhood in Ridley Park and look back on those days with many happy childhood memories. If any of my classmates are still around I'd love you to share our class's memories too. I still keep in touch with Miriam, Pat L , MaureenS, and Jane L. - even though we are spread throughout the states.

St Madelines Parish is a holy and loving church to be in. All the people are so caring and you can truly feel the prescense of the Lord. Father and the deacon do an amazing job there teaching and helping us in our spiritual journey. Thank you Father for all you do.

My ChildHood Friends, The Nuns, a SUPREME EDUCATION. The Teachings of Continuously Memorizing My Catechism + everything I did in my HomeRoom was memorized. Thank to this Style of Teachings I can still MEMORIZE anything I want to & it stays in my Brain. The Church itself to this DAY is A VERY WARM & FRIENDLY atmosphere. I was Married there in 1968, September 21st. Father Cain was the Pastor when I was in Elementary. In High School{NotreDameAllGirl} there was a couple of new Pastors.
My Memories are so CLEAR + WONDERFUL. When I moved away in 1973 I kept going to St. Madeline's Church, but after 5 Years it was too FAR to Travel there. That's how much I still FAVOR my hometown Catholic Church, St. Madeline's. To this day I haven't found a Catholic CHURCH that I Like NOR feel Comfortable NOR Warm. I'm going there in February, 2019 FOR VISIT, it's been 20years since I was there. Everyone of My immediate Family has passed away. So going back home to see My Schools, My Church, My House where I grew in Leedom Estates, will be A JOY for myself + My Children, GrandChildren, My GreatGrandChildren.
