Great local hardware. Steve Allen, the proprietor, provides first class service, has everything one would need and gets it for you. No walking around a huge box store. Prices are competitive and usually less than Lowe's or Home depot. Steve also suggests solutions to any problem or project as needed. A great place to do business with.

I’m spoiled by the convenience and great personal service provided by Steve at Jacob Low Hardware. Just this week I popped in twice and quickly got exactly what I needed to complete my little projects. This local business is a real gem!

Steve is excellent. This is a small mom and pop store with a man who works hard, cares and is knowledgeable. He understands your problems band how to solve them . His prices are more than far and I'll be back. Support this great little store. You're not going to find someone as wise as Steve at Lowes or Home Depot, better known as Home Disappointment.

I am a professional full time handyman.. I use Jake Lowe's hardware whenever possible. Steve is unbelievably attentive to each and every customer. They carry all kinds of items and most of them you can buy in small quantities. Shop local!

I completely disagree with a post I recently read about the service at this store. My experience and of several friends who have supported this business is quite the contrary.
The service is not only excellent but and I witnessed how patient and caring the owner is with senior citizens.
I suggest you drop in and see for yourself before you write off places like these who truly appreciate their patrons.

I had my key broken into 2 pieces, Lowes could not help me with cutting the new key basing on my samples. Owner of the Jack Low hardware was able to accomplish successfully this task. Thank you Jacob.

Excellent local store and very knowledgeable help. Good prices. It looks like a small store but you are looking for something that is actual hardware, they always have it, without the big plastic packaging. They also do a nice job repairing screens and storm windows, and cut keys.

They don't make hardware stores like this anymore. When you ask at the big box stores no one knows the answer if it's not on their phone. This store has great customer service. It also has hard to find hardware items. I've been going to this store since 1980. Everything I need for hardware is here.

Thank God for Jacob Low Hardware. Great, knowledgeable, old fashioned service...period! Been going there for years when my dad would take me with him as a kid. Great to see them still around. Highly recommend.

I prefer to go to this store instead of big box stores. The service is always excellent and I always feel good about supporting the local business. You can buy a small amount of anything rather than hundreds of whatever you only need a few.

Jacob Low's Hardware was great. It carries the healthiest flowers and seedlings in Havertown and Steve is very helpful! Check out his flowers and vegetables if you want to plant your garden....

Jacob Low Hardware always seems to have rock salt in stock when the other stores are out. Best part about it the owner is always happy to Cary it to your car for you.

Steve is extremely knowledgeable about everything he sells at this small but well stocked store. Many parts specific to local homes.

Jacob Low has exactly what you need and if he doesn't have it, he can get it for you. I was looking for mending brackets of a certain length and he has them loose in a box where I can get one or two of them rather than buying a box of them.

Easy to get close parking. Easy to shop. The have had what I needed. Just old fashioned service, quality, and hardware. This place is packed with good and fair prices.

Always has what you are looking for. I needed the fly tape for the Spotted Latern Fly. Ace Hardware was sold out, Jacob Lowe had it. Advertise on your sign that you have the tape. It works
