Mel's Pizza Eatery

I had a very good feeling about Mel’s as soon as we walked in. It appeared that Mel was back there training some new employees. The place was clean and organized. I got a good feeling about Mel's. I decided to get the ultimate cheesesteak. The ultimate cheesesteak is a filet mignon cheesesteak. It has a $16.95 price tag. That should have been a flashing red beacon of ‘Jim don't get this cheesesteak.’ The meat was very good. I repeat, the meat was very good. I don't think the other stuff worked with the meat. The roll was pretty traditional. It had a Mel made cheesy combination of American cheese and Wiz, I thought this was too much. I think the great meat only needed complementary pieces. We took our Cheesesteak to 2SP Brewing Company. Next time we'll go straight to Aston Abbey. How can you dislike very good filet mignon?

By far my favorite pizza in the area. We grab slices here while out delivering for UberEats. After working up a hunger their humongous slices with the slightly sweet sauce and fresh high quality mozzarella is exactly what my angry tummy is screaming for!

Candy and her husband are so friendly and the food was amazing. My kids are picky and they ate everything. Taco pizza, bacon cheeseburger, Mexican burger, and the la osa sandwhich were all delicious. Also Candy's carrot cake was soo good, and she makes her desserts in house.

I've been ordering from here since they opened a few years ago. You may not even notice this place at five points in Aston next to Fulginiti. You have to try the arugula parmesan Flatbread it has a balsamic glaze over it, so simple so delicious. I've noticed at one point they were growing a ton of their own basil in store, pretty cool. Hard to find a solid local pizza place, try em out!

First time here. We had a burger, the meatball sandwich, and fries. The portions are huge! We enjoyed food and will definitely come back.

Always get there switch it pizza with extra sauce and of course French fries BOTH are amazing, however we tried the BBQ chicken pizza to switch it up and it was AMAZING!! definitely will be getting that again. Also everyone is super friendly that works there and my food is always HOT and made just how I asked, thanks mels!

The Sicilian Pizza is to die for!!! They are huge and very filling! It’s out Friday night thing. All us girls get together and share it.

I ordered the switch it pizza with pepperoni and a order of honey barbecue wings. It was very good. They have one guy cooking pizza. Two guys cooking wings and sandwiches with mel overseeing the whole operation. Also three people working the counter and answering the phones. Great local pizza shop.

This is our go-to pizza place. Every Friday we get a Switch It (cheese on crust, sauce on top), and a pepperoni. They have excellent fries, cheesesteaks, and sandwiches. During the winter I had their chicken noodle soup and it was really good.

Reviews appear to be scattered about the spectrum, but I thought I'd give Mel's a shot. Ordered (pickup) on a Wed night during dinnertime. Everyone in the shop was pleasant in general. Owner (Mel) was especially friendly and forthcoming. Pizzas were hot and ready within 15 minutes. My family was pleasantly surprised overall. It's the exact style of Italian (real!) pizza I always hope for in a local shop. I personally thought the dough/crust was the best I've tasted in Aston yet. This kind of place is exactly why I'm happy to do business locally. Looking forward to our next order from Mel's!

I have been looking for a new pizza place and thought I would never find a good one. This place is amazing and I will be craving these breadsticks plus the pizza was delicious. I asked for well done which was no problem. The woman working there even brought our order out to our car where we were waiting. I will definitely be back and soon.

Stopped into Mel's for two slices and a soda today. The bottom line is my whole experience exceeded expectations. The sauce on their pizza is excellent and a break from the same old delco norm... you know what I'm talking about. The cheese was different and not typically my style because it kinda bunches up into sections instead of over the whole slice but it works well with the sauce actually. The service was very friendly, the place was clean and they had spices out. I will be going back someday.

My first time trying Mel's Pizza and it was delicious!!!Wanted a different taste and they didn't disappoint .,,best cheese and pepperoni pizza I had in a long time.

This place is a must try!! Don’t let the look or the location of the building be a deciding factor. This is one of the best places in Aston. We have tried a good selection of items and all of the food is outstanding. It’s nice to be able to get a salad that is not swimming in water and is loaded with stuff not just lettuce. The staff is super friendly too.

One of, if not the best place to grab a bite to eat in aston . Solid menu all around , and the pizza is amazing , im not a crust person, but Mel's pizza is the exception. And the customer service is great , always kind and accommodating .
