City Line Diner

Fast & Friendly service. I had the Sausage Gravy & Biscuits w/ home fries and my friend had the corn beef hash, eggs & home fries. The home fries were crispy just the way we like. My sausage gravy was yummy and the biscuits were moist and tasty. I didn't have room for the baklava. We will definitely have to go back.

My husband and I love to find some smaller diners when we travel. We came across this little place and omg LOVED IT! The food was amazing! Our server was wonderful.
The only thing my husband's Chip Beef could have been a little hotter but... 10/10 will be returning when we travel again!

More food than I could have imagined appeared at my table and my kids went nuts. Food was awesome service was fast.

Good food, great service, and all at a good price!
We had the open faced roast beef with a salad and the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes, corn, and a salad. Definitely will go back and do recommend that you try for yourself!

Stopped in for breakfast on Jan. 11. All I can say is AWESOME. Home fries are fried potatoes like it should be! Had the City Line super special and all was excellent. I will be back sometime.

Food was great and the desserts were presented beautifully. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back next time we visit the area!

Food was grate , it was much better than I expected. I will go back 👍 I got the cheese stake omelette and corn beef hash and homefrys all very good and friend had surf and turf breakfast I tasted it and crab cakes are very good .

Always a 5 star experience! These people are like family. The servers are friendly and patient. The menu can be overwhelming but it's genuinely something for everyone. You HAVE to have the desserts. The breakfasts are huge and served all day. Plenty of parking and convenient on/off Derry St.

Just outstanding, i was greeted by a younger man his name is Steven. He was very superb in mentioning the daily specials. Once i walked in, this place is immaculately clean and service was phenomenal. City Line Diner is my go to for now on.

Had the best experience at lunch today!! Steven our waiter was amazing and definitely added to the experience. He was super friendly and accommodating. He constantly checked in with my grandparents and I. He even helped with some good dessert recommendations. The food was also very good. Everyone liked the food that they ordered. I highly recommend the cheesecake.

Never had a bad dinner there. Everything is good, everyone is really nice. Cheesecake is the best in town.

The deserts are by far the best around. If nothing else get the dessert. And Cici is the best server in town! And the owner is so sweet! It’s a middle point for a friend and I. This is probably our new regular meeting spot. 😊

Laura my waitress was a sweet heart and after just 3 times she remembered my name. I also noticed she knew most of the diner by name. Definitely recommend her for ur waitress

These chicken and waffles are the best! Bone in chicken and they give you 4 pieces. All the chicken was juicy and fresh l. The waffle was sweet but not to sweet. Almost did not need syrup but definitely used some. The staff was very nice and helpful. If I lived closer I would totally go back

Food was great! Service was fast! Very attentive staff even while it was busy!

Update: I have been back several times now and have not been disappointed with anything. If you're in the Harrisburg area or visiting Hollywood Casino, this place is definitely worth stopping at.

I was SO pleased with the entire experience. Atmosphere, cleanliness, selection, and quality of food was amaIng! However, our waitress, Lara, is what made it perfect! I took my mom here when she visited from out of state and I'll definitely bring other family later on. Great place to come!

My partner and I always enjoy ourselves whenever we have breakfast here. Charles is one of our favorite servers, he definitely make our mornings when he's working

Kind of a hidden gem and a rarity these days - great food, big portions, reasonable prices, and friendly service. Something for everyone, and a great go-to for takeout on the way home, too! Chicken or veal parm are a favorite - sauce is fantastic! Paninis are great for lunch, and the chicken-fried steak is fantastic for breakfast!
