The Birch Ridge provided a perfect space for our week-long company-sponsored team meetup! Communication with the owners was excellent and prompt, and we greatly appreciated that they worked within our budget to make this stay possible. Everything was impeccably clean and decorated to a high standard. Our team enjoyed the amenities provided including a shuffleboard table, pool table, and games. We rented the entire inn, so each participant had their own room with ensuite bathroom. The Great Room was stylishly renovated and was our favorite space to work, eat, and hang out together. We also appreciated having use of the commercial kitchen to prepare breakfasts and lunches as well as the dining area where the rental company set up a large TV that was ideal for our presentations. The high speed internet was very reliable and a huge benefit of choosing to hold our company meetup here as it is not a standard offering in similar Vermont accommodations. The Birch Ridge is in a beautiful, peaceful, and natural setting while also being just minutes away from the ski resorts. It benefits from a convenient central Killington location and is walking distance to a number of shops and restaurants.

We’ll definitely be coming back. This is a true bed and breakfast experience. Bill and Mary have created a warm, inviting, well appointed and extremely comfortable place that feels like home away from home. Food is excellent. Don’t hesitate to spend your time here, be it for a stay or just for dinner. Can’t go wrong!

When we arrived we were greeted by Bill. He  is very helpful and friendly and walks you to your room and goes over everything. He gives you recommendations for restaurants to go to. They serve dinner Thursday Through Sunday, very convenient for those days where you dont feel like driving and having some nice drinks. Breakfast is included (8 to 930 weekdays 730 to930 on weekends). The rooms have a thermostat so you can set the temperature. Very clean rooms and the bathroom is immaculate.  I judge a place by how clean the bathrooms are and this is a 10 out of 10. They really do a great job at the inn. Amazing place will definitely come back!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this quaint family run location and both Bill and Mary made us feel very welcome. Rooms were nice and clean, and the common areas were very cozy with a roaring fire during the cold winter nights. The location was perfect, less than a mile from Killington and only a few miles from Pico mountain. The on-site restaurant was excellent with world-class food.

Update: came back in 2022 still wonderful here although now they are only doing dinner Thursday through Sunday. Breakfast still served homemade each day!

We stayed in this inn several times in the past when our son was a young kid. We loved it, especially the full breakfast included in the price. We wanted to book this inn again for our upcoming trip in March. However, our son is a big boy now and he needs a separate bed from us. This inn only has one bed each room, so we have to book a different inn. If the owner will consider having a few two-bed family room, we would love to stay with you again!

Stayed here over Valentine's Day weekend. Owners Bill and Mary were nothing short of amazing in their accommodation. The entire staff was great as well. Bar off the lobby is the perfect place to unwind after skiing. The real winner was breakfast every morning. Prefect way to start the day. Will definitely be staying here when I come back to Killington.

We’ve been going to Killington for about six years stayed in several different B&B. Birch is by far the best one. Bill and Mary are great hosts and Mary’s baking goods in the breakfast are delicious. If you manage to save some for later in the day, they make great snacks between rides. Rooms varies in sizes, amenities and prices. Some have fireplaces some have not, but that will be clear when you make the reservation.
The lounge is very comfortable and great for an evening glass of wine.
They also took several measures to make the stay safe during COVID times, if I recall the order correctly, whenever a guest leaves they apply an ultra violet light, then they clean, then they apply the light again.
Strong recommend this place.

Wonderful cozy stay here for the Spartan beast weekend! Bill and Mary were delightful hosts and so sweetly accommodated our early morning breakfast for the race. The room and location was great and the homemade breakfast was fantastic! Can’t wait to stay again when we’re back in the area.

Lovely Inn with really nice hosts. My husband and I ate dinner there both nights of our stay because the food is outstanding. We really enjoyed hanging out in the great room chatting with both visitors and locals. Our queen room was very clean and spacious. It was nice being able to open up the windows in our bedroom at night and turn on the fan in the room to circulate the fresh cool mountain air that allowed us to sleep very well. Overall I highly recommend this Inn.

We always come here for an annual short ski getaway. Mary and Bill are wonderful hosts, big breakfasts are great, excellent dinner menu/food. Fun to hang at the bar and meet some of the locals. Rooms always comfortable & clean- get the large jetted tub room if you’re here for active pursuits!

Went here for a romantic ski weekend with my boyfriend. The inn is beautiful and makes you feel at home in its design. The owners Mary and Bill are attentive, very friendly, and make you feel comfortable right away. I felt like we had known them for years. They know the area well and had great recommendations regarding things to do. We enjoyed eating in the restaurant at the inn and having drinks in the cozy bar. The food was delicious! I highly recommend staying here and plan to come back.

The Birch Ridge Inn was beyond perfect for a trip to Killington. The owners/hosts, Bill and Mary, go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels welcome and that everything is taken care of. The place is so cozy and is even enjoyable during COVID times. I am vegan, and Mary made me special breakfasts each morning and the chef made delicious vegan meals for me for dinner, as well. I was sooo grateful for this! The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable with ample room to put ski things after a day on the mountain. There are no pictures of the bathrooms and I forgot to get one for the review, but no need to worry about this! We had Room 2 and our bathroom was so clean with fresh tiles and was all updated. It had a large bathroom countertop with area for two people getting ready, and a large walk-in shower with a seat in it. We also had a more modern looking room than some in the pictures. There was a flat screen television and a couch in the room, as well. We felt like we were at home walking into the Birch Ridge Inn every day after skiing with warm greetings and conversation all around. Bill and Mary were so amazing to us and other guests. We can't wait to go back to the Birch Ridge Inn - they have our sole business for staying in Killington! Thank you for an excellent stay, Bill and Mary!

I just spent New Years Eve 2021 at this pleasant, cozy and atmospheric Birch Ridge Inn. What a way to end a tumultuous year and begin another chapter. From the minute we entered with our host Bill greeting us to his lovely wife, Mary making us classic cocktails to start our evening and top service from Marissa....it couldn't get any better. But it did get better with a 5 Star dinner. Compliments to the Chef.....Thank you for making this evening with my son and his wife a night to remember.

The Birch Ridge Inn is our favorite place to stay at Killington. It is a beautiful, well-kept inn with a cozy lounge/bar and fireplace. The rooms are nicely decorated and well maintained. There are homemade cookies waiting for you at the end of the ski day, and dinner at the restaurant is among the best you will find in the area. In the morning, there are baskets of amazing fresh muffins and breads that are homemade by Mary (I have even asked for and received recipes!), along with delicious hot entrees. And Bill and Mary are skiers, so they have great suggestions on where to ski and they know the area well. The only downside is that it is hard to ski off all of the calories from the great food! We wholeheartedly recommend you try it out!

I recently learned how to ski in Killington VT. Staying here made the trip perfect. I cannot thank Bill and Mary for what a wonderful job they did and for making me feel at home and comfortable. The food is outstanding along with the accommodations. When I go to Killington which will be often I will be staying here. Also the Breakfast are to die for they are amazing. Thank you Bill and Mary. Side Note: If you ever want to have a great conversation and want to know a few things about skiing or local knowledge. There is an unbelievable and outstanding lady that makes great Harvy Wall Bangers. She was amazing and very helpful to me. I appreciate your kindness. See you all soon.

Cute bed and breakfast in Killington, VT. We went on a friend's recommendation and it was obvious why they liked it. There's a cool covered bridge on the driveway up, and you're greeted by the innkeeper who goes over your room, breakfast, etc. Breakfast is included daily and is delicious. It's also just a short drive to the mountain. The bar and the hotel restaurant are also good, and the bartender is a wealth of Killington knowledge. The rooms are functional, nothing exceptional but everything is clean and working. Would stay again.

Great location really close to Killington Mtn (about 5-10 min drive away) with friendly and welcoming hosts. Our room was cozy and clean, bathroom sizable with a whirlpool bathtub, complete with a small fireplace. The restaurant inside serves delicious food so be sure to try it out. I would recommend this place to anyone!
