I’m so excited for the dress I chose. I can’t stop returning to the photos to take just one more glance. Pamela was amazing, she took the extra time to be sure I had everything I needed with each dress I tried on and even went the extra mile to hold parts of each dress for me, hold mirrors and best of all, share laughs with us! She is the master of her craft, and when it comes to choosing the dress it’s not just about the dress, it’s about the experience. Thank you Pamela for making my special day that much more memorable!

I am so thankful I bought my dress at Pamela Moore and had her do the alterations. Not only does she have a beautiful selection of gowns at reasonable prices that you are free to browse through yourself, she is a true expert when it comes to textiles, sewing and fitting your dress. The sleeves and the bustle on my dress were custom made. I got so many compliments on my wedding day and I told everybody - it was all thanks to Pamela!

I was so happy to have this wonderful mother of the bride experience. Pamela came highly recommended from a coworker. She had a great selection of dresses and the most charming personality. I found a dress that I absolutely loved but knew there were a few alterations it would need. Pamela was able to customize my dress to fit me the way I would feel most comfortable. The finished product absolutely exceeded my expectations and I received so many compliments on what a beautiful dress it was! She added sleeves for me and you would never know by looking at it that they weren’t originally part of the dress. She also changed the front panel and hem to help with the flow of the dress. I felt stunning at my daughter’s wedding in this dress and highly recommend anyone looking for one to visit Pamela for what will be an amazing experience!

Pamela was a joy to work with through out the whole wedding experience! I found multiple dresses that I loved at her shop and absolutely loved the one I went with. She gave great recommendations of possible changes that could be made and it turned out amazing. She also did my alterations for my dress and for a top that I got for a welcome reception. She was professional and kind through out, and has very reasonable prices. I love being able to support local businesses. Would definitely recommend getting your wedding dress here!

I feel so grateful to have found Pamela Moore Bridals to help me create my dream wedding dress. I wanted to wear my mother's wedding dress but given that it was from the 90's (think puffy shoulders, huge train, high neck) it needed significant alterations to be modern and fit my style.

Pamela worked over several months to transform the dress while still keeping the main features intact. The train was significantly shortened with the original lace, the sleeves were removed to create an entirely new neckline with spaghetti straps, and an organza overlay was put on the skirt (and much more). It was better than anything i could have bought in a store and even more special that it was my mom's.

I also ended up buying my veil and a jeweled head piece from her shop, which were both prettier and higher quality than anything I saw elsewhere.

Pamela herself was great to work with - she offered her own ideas and advice while supporting my vision and preferences. She was communicative and delivered the dress on time. Brattleboro is lucky to have such a talented seamstress in town!

I had a wonderful experience working with Pamela. She was so accommodating to our wedding vision, and didn't bat an eye when I told her I would need the dress on a very quick timeline (and that I would need to be able to roll it up into a backpack to hike it up to the ceremony!). She is clearly so knowledgeable about the art of dress making and was such a kind and reassuring presence as I made my dress choice. She worked with me to expertly tailor the dress and gave me options for how to make use of the dress after the wedding- she will be turning it into a skirt and cropped top to wear as separates! The only downside is that there were SO MANY beautiful dresses it was hard to choose!! (I did actually end up with two dresses because I couldn't choose just one!) I will definitely be returning to her beautiful shop as future events come up. I highly recommend going to Pamela for all your dress and tailoring needs!

Pamela did an amazing job altering my wedding dress. I bought my dresses another boutique in New Hampshire, and on a recommendation from a friend took it to Pamela for altering. She was fantastic! The dress fit perfectly and looked like it had been made for me. She worked within my time-frame and even did a last-minute alteration to take it in a bit more. On a Sunday, no less. She was friendly, professional, and very good at what she does. And the cost was very reasonable for the work done. I would highly recommend her for any alteration needs, and if I'd known about her and her shop before, I would have purchased my gown there as well.

Pamela is a miracle worker! I cannot recommend her shop or services enough!! I got married at the end of October 2021after rescheduling several times due to COVID. I purchased my dress in 2019 (at another shop) at a size 14 and needed it tailored to a 6/4. The original tailor assured me they could properly take in the dress but after four fittings the dress was a disaster and we were losing hope that it could be fixed. After bringing the dress to Pamela she immediately knew what the issues were and was very honest that it may even be worth finding a new dress. After having my heart set on the dress we moved forward with my original dress. Pamela had to reconstruct the dress several times to repair issues from the other tailor and straighten out the underlying layers. She did an amazing job and I couldn't be happier with the end result. The dress fit like a glove and you never would have known what it went through to get to the final result. I highly recommend her and will be a forever customer for future tailoring and dress needs!

I can't say enough great things about Pamela Moore Bridal ! My daughter bought her wedding gown at a different shop and when it arrived we were told it would need some alterations to fit her perfectly. When the seamstress she had backed out at the last minute, she made a frantic call to Pamela and she told us to come in and she'd take care of it. Once it was tried on, Pamela discovered it had been ordered 2 sizes too big so would need mpre than just "some minor adjustments" , it needed to be completely taken apart and resized! Pamela had it all under control right away and assured us that the dress would be done for the wedding . Not only was it done, it is perfection ! Pamela's work is meticulous, and beautiful ! I know she worked hours on it , well after her normal store hours for us to have it on time. Pamela is knowledgeable, friendly, skilled, wonderful - is all I can say . If you need a wedding gown, a formal dress, or alterations, I can't recommend her highly enough !! Go to her for your gown or alterations and you won't be disappointed!

What a truly special wedding dress shopping experience! From our first phone call I could tell Pamela was going to be different from a run of the mill dress store. She truly cared about what I wanted, and really listened to me both style-wise and price-wise. Her collection of dresses is expertly curated and reasonably priced - every single dress is beautiful and unique. After going to a few more traditional bridal shops, Pamela's collection was so refreshing - the dresses we're comfortable but elegant, and the range of options in color, style, and material was extensive but not overwhelming. The shopping experience itself was zero-pressure, Pamela was so kind to me and my friends and family who attended and let us try on everything and anything of interest. She encouraged me to be thoughtful about my decision and take my time. Pamela is an expert seamstress and designer, and had many helpful suggestions for customizing dresses to make them more "me". Ultimately I found the perfect dress at her store (with her expert guidance) and she was able to customize the straps to make it my dream dress. My experience at her store was amazing, I am so appreciative of the personalized experience she provided and I am so happy with the dress I got. Thank you Pamela for helping me look perfect for my wedding!

Pamela is amazing to work with! My best friend was getting married and she made the entire wedding dress shopping extravaganza by far the best experience out of any boutique we went to! Not only did she have beautiful gowns to choose from, but her knowledge and artistry for tailoring is unmatchable. Would highly recommend!

My daughter is a young opera singer and needed a white recital gown which is harder to find than one might think. We went in and Pamela was extremely knowledgeable and intuitive. It was a nice bonus that she actually once worked in the Opera business. We left without a dress, but while eating lunch she called us and said she had gone searching into her inventory and found the perfect dress. And it was! Diligent, passionate about her art and affordable!

What a joy it was finding Pamela’s Bridal shop for a mother of the bride dress. As soon as I walked in I felt such a great vibe. I had already purchased 3 different dresses on line and didn’t like any of them. I just happen to stumble on this shop and I wish it had been months earlier. The selection of wonderful fabrics and colors blew me away. And more importantly the personal service and recommendations that she offers just can’t be found buying something on line. She is honest, down to earth and so good at what she does. I found the perfect dress not needing any alterations. A great feeling to support a local business and doing business with someone who really knows her craft and how to make you feel special. Hope more people discover this gem in Brattleboro.

Had a wonderful experience getting a David’s Bridal bridesmaid dress altered. Pamela was able to get it done quickly and for a reasonable price, and we also had great conversation during the sizing. The dresses in the store were beautiful and I already told myself that if I ever get married, I’ll be trying dresses here first (She also had plenty of other dresses that were not bridal as well.) Already have my eye in one wedding dress in particular. 😉

Where should I begin! For the first time in my life at age 60 I was engaged & soon to wed. And getting off the starting line was one setback after another due to pandemic. I hesitated to deal with any bridal business for fear they would dress me as 20 yr. old. Those I did call or engage in online neither answered nor responded back. Thus they required a payment upfront just to schedule before customer questions. Poor business standard. So after searching the web I came across Pamela Moore Bridal. The 5* reviews caught my attention. After reading many I gave her a call....and she answered! I won the phone lottery! And she answered on her own personal time. Cost free! After speaking with her for 30 to 45 minutes I knew she was the right fit for my bridal needs. Pamela was a joy to work with! She was one on one with me which I really appreciated. I was hesitate towards white but open however not liking it. After trying she suggested color which I stated "most definitely!" Pamela hit the nail on the head for me! She did a wonderful job on my dress. The alterations were customized to detail. Including a Bolero which she made to match should I get cold. It was perfect. Suiting my personality & fit. She sells jewlery also which worked out great for me...perfect set to match. And pricing very affordable. Should anyone ask for who or where they should go for a bridal dress....no hesitation..."Pamela Moore Bridal! Once you enter her shop don't let the "vintage consignment atmosphere" fool you...the polish is in her professionalism, knowledge & personalism! Just know her demand is high during summer & fall. Plan early! I planned 6 months in advance. Thank you Pam for creating a lifetime memory with me & gaining a new friend too!

I am a bit late at adding my review but I went to Pamela in September 2016 to alter a bridesmaid's dress for my sister's October wedding. I had purchased the dress in February 2016, when I was 40 pounds heavier and I was nervous about the massive alterations that needed to be made. From the beginning, Pamela eased my worries and I was confident in her knowledge and abilities. She was patient and attentive to my concerns and requests and never made me feel like I was asking too much. Pamela did an incredible job taking the dress down four sizes!! To look at it, you would never know the dress used to a size 18! Excellent, quality craftswomanship and caring customer service. Well worth it.

I am leaving this post because both times I have gone to Pamela, she has been incredible! My first experience was when she made my wedding dress back in 1999. She was great to work with and did a beautiful job! I didn't even have a pattern - I just described what I wanted and we drew out an idea on paper! I went back, this past spring, looking for a gown for my son's wedding and she was just as great! Not only did she have exactly what I was looking for, Pamela did all the alterations and had it ready in a very short amount of time. Thank you, Pamela, for your expertise, support and help - it was a pleasure doing business with you, again!!

I had shopped online at a few places for my bridesmaids dresses, and they kept falling through. David's Bridal was the worst, by the way. My mother in law had run into this shop by accident and fallen in love herself, so I decided to give it a try last minute. Pam was AMAZING. She made the dresses herself, absolutely beautifully and in a time crunch. The prices were reasonable (considering the quality, the hand-made everything and the time pinch, they were very inexpensive), and they were absolutely gorgeous. I was so thankful for Pam, she was so flexible and helpful! I asked her to make some last minute alterations to my wedding dress as well, and she gave it new life! It was amazing what she can do with a few stitches. After my wedding, she sent it to a trusted cleaner that hand-washed my dress, and had it packaged in museum - quality packing so that the color will never fade and it will not wrinkle. I will ALWAYS recommend her to everyone, and I will always shop there when I need a beautiful dress for an event. Not a single complaint! I was lucky to have met her.
