Giving 5 stars because they actually had shiners to buy after trying out L.L. Cote and striking out. Those shiners made our ice fishing weekend.

Seems like they have a good selections of goods next to their bait.

Loved our experience here. It was a rainy day on a Friday. Great service, reasonable prices, and the guy behind the cash register was polite, friendly, had a sense of humor, and was informative about product, and fishing. Would definitely go back! Great local sporting goods shop!

I bought a set of snowshoes here because I'd left mine back home and decided driving back wasn't worth it. They were very helpful in educating me, the last pair I bought on the cheap, not knowing what I needed. I think I dropped almost 300, but I ended up loving the set so much I bought a set for my wife through ll bean, and it was the same price, so I know I got a fair deal.

You won't find friendlier service at any store anywhere. The staff is knowledgable about their wares and a treat to talk to. A "No pressure" atmosphere coupled with the above qualities makes it our go-to store for everything from paint and propane to fishing gear, guns/ammo to basketballs/soccer balls/footballs. A real treat to have in town.

Everything you need for a good hunt in the great north woods. Except for advice on where to go to get the big one. Gotta keep that stuff quiet.
