Hick's Hardware Store

Great hardware store get what you need with wonderful customer service. Maple syrup at a great price. We use it instead of sugar in a lot of our drinks and some food.

I feel we are blessed by Hicks still being open when other business-related closing. They always have what I need. Vere friendly family atmosphere

This is a really incredible little hardware store that looks like it came right out of the 1950s. Such a cool place. The floors are still wooden and creek a bit when you walk on them. The prices are reasonable, and you will never meet more helpful people than the employees of Hicks. A really important fixture for downtown Colebrook!

Can find anything you could possibly need or want in this place. Esp during wreath season. (For me) family owned family friendly.

Great store that has a bit of everything. The people are friendly and very helpful. Throwback to hardware stores I use to know. We've been there many times, and never been disappointed. Love it.

We were snowmobiling up north and needed a couple parts that no one had at the local dealers. We were able to piece things together by going to Hicks and finding all those elusive nuts and bolts that we couldn't find. If they don't have it you don't need it

I have spent a great deal of money here and the owners and staff are top notch. With the pandemic going on they have asked customers to please wear a face mask. Thank you so much for this but I would rather you made it mandatory as i noticed many locals going in and out without a mask.

Local hardware (and more) store. I was dubious when I moved up here, but do far I haven't needed anything they haven't had. Great place.

Returned a brush we didn't use or want,was refunded half cost,had proper receipts was refunded only $2.50 friend called told them we never used it ,his explanation was alot of people return things used ,in our case it wasn't she asked for full refund,got it.Alot if aggravation for giving a local our business for fifteen years.Wont be getting our business anymore!! :( After talking to owner he offered full refund took it and now I'm not feeling so bad anymore ty for listening 😊I will continue to give my business here

They have most everything you could want plus wonderful service with a smile, knowledgeable employees, and aisles laid out in a manner that makes it easy to find what you are looking for!

This place is magical. The nicest people ever own and manage it and they have literally everything you could possibly need for both home repair and just daily living.

The lady there was Super helpful...Prices are a little,but that's to expected..Great selection of hardware.If they don't have it you don't need it...

Hicks hardware is the Walmart of ColeBrook! Once you are this far north in New Hampshire, it’s only a half an hour to Canada. Let’s just say, this town is so small that you have to sign out when you leave.

Not to worry, what ever you think you need, Hicks has it. It’s a hardware store/kitchen appliances/children’s toys/HomeGoods store. If Hicks doesn’t have it, you don’t need it!

Whenever I go here I am always welcomed and asked if I can help you with anything. They are so kind and respectful. And always glad to help.
