Just a few blocks from the lake this is in the heart of the city within walking distance of the best restaurants and the lake and bike path. I’d recommend a high lake view room. You can watch the sunset and see the best views of the lake in town. The rooms are fairly spacious and nice. Beds are perfect. The resort fee I was disappointed with initially but it includes free bikes and tickets to the science museum that my kids loved. Plus a food voucher. So after using all of that it pays for itself. Parking here is a fee but it’s in a garage and fairly safe. If you didn’t park here it’s metered and a fight for a spot. So again, worth it.
The staff here is top notch. They helped us out with early luggage drop off and getting a room upgrade. Highly recommend this hotel.

I came to Burlington on business. This hotel had a decent price if selecting the non-lake view. Parking is $16/day so just be aware of that. It is just a block away from the bike trail along the lake and you can walk the other direction to Church St. for all that it has to offer.
There is a simple but tasty cafe at the hotel which is good enough to get you through the day, but it isn't meant to replace the awesome restaurants nearby.
The rooms are well furnished and supplied with a huge 65" smart TV and a small frig. No microwave, which might be useful if you had leftovers from the restaurant.
The exercise room looks like a real gym. The pool is small, so not meant for doing laps, but keeping kids occupied or wearing them out at the end of the day.
There is construction still going on, so there is that, but I wasn't impacted by it. Overall a great place. The Lakeview rooms are probably worth the extra cost if you are into that sort of thing and will be in the room during sunset.

Our four evening stay at The Hilton Burlington @ Lake Champlain was absolutely perfect!Although the hotel is in the process of converting to an upscale Hilton Curio Collection at Lake Champlain, we were not disturbed by the noise, and we thoroughly enjoyed the newly renovated Mezzanine level with beautifully relaxed seating, and bistro style eatery - Yummy!
Definitely hit the newly renovated, top of the line gym that overlooks the lake and provides fresh towels at each piece of equipment.
Our lake view room was nicely appointed and incredibly restful with dark textured walls, white soft linens and a comfortable bed.
Definitely reserve a bike and go on the bike trail along the lake, be prepared to stop along the way for photo ops at the beaches or park but pay attention for fast riders and joggers.
The hotel is located within walking distance to EVERYTHING and too many fabulous restaurants and shops to mention but definitely get out of your room & explore Burlington, or take a drive to the other beautiful cities and towns, you will LOVE VERMONT as much as we did!

My husband and I decided to come to Burlington for our honeymoon - it did not disappoint!! From check-in to check-out, our stay at the Hilton was amazing. There were some bumps in the road, but the staff were so accommodating and genuinely wanted to ensure we had a wonderful time, which we did!

Upon arrival, we were gifted a lovely charcuterie board and bottle of delicious white wine for our honeymoon. The view from our room of Lake Champlain was stunning. The hotel has ample amenities and we actually preferred that there was no coffee in the individual rooms, because the coffee bar setup on each floor was so much more elaborate and efficient! We loved the sparkling water on tap and selection of teas, coffees, and hot chocolate available 24/7 for self-service and think it is overall a much better design!

We were able to bring our 1 year old dog with us, as this hotel is dog friendly, which is a major bonus!! There is a $50 per day charge for bringing your dog, but we felt it was worth it to have our whole family together. Burlington has many dog friendly businesses - we were even able to take our girl to the big dog park along the fitness trail on the waterfront, which she loved! We had a blast playing in the snow with her. If you’re in need of accommodations that allow your dog to come with you, definitely book this hotel! Some breweries in the area also allow dogs - we recommend the tap room at Queen City Brewery, which our girl loved.

Food and beverages were very good at this hotel. Breakfast setup was easy to navigate and had a nice array of options - our favorites were the fruit smoothies and breakfast sandwiches, though the pastries were also delicious and great for grab-n-go! We did not have a chance to try dinner at the restaurant, but we will definitely be back and make sure to stop in for a cocktail and meal!

A few helpful tips and info:

1. There are a lot of added fees at this hotel. Please make sure to use the daily $10 voucher you get as part of this, for use on any food and beverage purchases. We used ours at the sundry shop for sweet treats and beer. The fees might seem off putting, but we believe the costs were worth the great location, views, and exemplary service. Parking in the adjacent garage is very convenient, as you can walk directly into the hotel from the 3rd floor.
2. There is still construction/remodeling at work until later this spring. In our opinion, this did not affect the quality of our stay at all, and we look forward to coming back in the summertime to see the improvements! No services were interrupted on our end due to the remodeling.
3. Best views are on the top two floors (6 and 7). Our specific room number was 715, which we feel had a spectacular view of the entire lake. It’s a west facing room, so you get incredible views of the sunset.
4. The spaces are tight (smaller than expected bathrooms) but the bed is comfortable and the setup works! I’m a plus sized woman and I felt fine in the smaller space - it was economical and just enough to move around.

In summary, if you’re going to explore everything Burlington has to offer, we highly recommend staying at this hotel - especially if you’re bringing your pup with you! We had a beautiful honeymoon with our girl, and we look forward to returning soon!

Two exceptional staff who assisted us were Travis and Dean at the front desk! We thank them both for a wonderful stay!

We stayed here over the weekend of April 6-8 to view the solar eclipse and had an excellent time. I don't understand the other reviews that spoke to the unfriendliness of the staff; our experience couldn't have been more different. Everyone we dealt with was helpful and friendly, and this was in the context of an *incredibly* busy weekend for them (particular shout-out to the valet parking staff and manager, who worked literally all night). The "urban destination fee" is a bit ridiculous (c'mon, it's Burlington), but overall I'd be happy to stay again.

I stayed overnight at Christmas. There were renovations in progress, but great effort was made to make guests comfortable despite. The hotel was upfront about renovations. They upgraded my room on check-in. Holiday decorations were festive! I’ll stay again for sure.

We loved every minute of our visit here. Rooms and service were outstanding. The mezzanine was our favourite place to be while we relaxed. Cannot wait to return!

We were forewarned about construction by staff ahead of traveling and didn’t know what to expect. While there was work during the day, it did not impede our stay at all! Our first night there were a few minor hiccups on the hotels end, but they were more than accommodating without us even having to ask for anything. Additionally, as the renovations were going on the hotel offered complimentary “welcome happy hour” daily from 4-7pm. This included light snacks, appetizers, and their daily beer of choice on tap.

The staff were very helpful, friendly, and polite, checking in daily as to how we were doing. The hotel was very clean, as was the room, and pool area. The gym was recently renovated and if you are someone that partakes, this is easily one of the nicest gyms to have access to in a hotel. Plenty of cardio equipment, and your choice of traditional or CrossFit related equipment.

While Burlington apparently has its issues (assuming winter kept some of the stories we heard at bay), the area around the hotel was easily accessible and filled with great eateries/shops for our family needs. We enjoyed the activities as well, including the nearby Escape Room, retro arcade, and skiing accessibility within 30th minutes.

We were made to feel like royalty here. While this should always be the goal in the hospitality industry, sometimes families can be overlooked. This hotel and its staff did not disappoint and they go above and beyond. We highly recommend and look forward to seeing everything when we return and the renovations are completed. We’ve already referred friends and family to this destination and can’t wait to get back.

We went for a short get way to this great hotel on points. They gave us a great room on the top floor with wonderful views of lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. Location is awesome and a quick walk to all the sites. Loved the beverage station outside our room and the corn hole set up on the way in. The gym was well outfitted and the indoor pool was a nice on a nasty fall day. Parking was reasonable and they didn’t nickel and dime us. The staff was great to our kids.

Had a flight cancelled due to weather and stayed here overnight before our flight the next day. Travis was great and got us a king bedroom despite booking last minute. Thanks for making our travel delay easier and less stressful. :)

No microwave in the room and the mini fridge didn't work. Other than that everything else was great. Loved the view to the lake.

Even though there is an obvious renovation happening at this hotel, I think it was made up for by the little touches like the coffee station, free beer/cheese in the evenings, and the kind staff. Location is excellent and is only a few blocks to Church St with tons of restaurants and shops. I look forward to visiting again.

What a great experience! My family traveled to Burlington for a short vacation and our stay at the Hilton was wonderful. The view of the lake was incredible and the service was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, everyone from the valet to the cleaning staff were warm and friendly. We were well taken care of. I would especially like to commend Alex in the restaurant and bar for going above and beyond. He helped take exceptional care of my family which added to the experience. We look forward to our next visit!

My team had a wonderful time. The staff were extremely accommodating and made us feel very welcome. I had a great sleep as the beds were super comfortable, and the rooms were not the usual that I tend to find - nicely furnished but cramped. No, they were actually quite spacious; plenty of space to move around. I found everything to be impeccably clean. I did have a hard time getting coffee from the station in the hallway (a complete coffee station with filtered water and even sparkling water just outside the room) but it eventually gave me what I wanted. I was pleased to find the fitness room to be incredibly well furnished. There was everything I could want in a short stay, even a squat rack.

Well done, Hilton

Great location with a lovely and courteous staff. An unexpected and very nice touch is complementary coffee, tea and hot chocolate on each floor and a small reception in the lobby each evening. The property is undergoing renovations however that really did not impact our stay or experience.

I had a wonderful experience booking a room at the Hilton BURLINGTON LAKE CHAMPLAIN LOCATION this past weekend. I spoke with Brendan who was working the front desk at the hotel.
He was knowledgeable, very professional and a joy to do business with. He was very helpful in helping me make a reservation.

He is a great asset to the Hilton team.
I was extremely satisfied with my stay
And will continue to be a loyal Hilton customer

My hat is off to Brendan for a job well done.

Best
Fran

This is an amazing spot, they have great service, a delicious restaurant where you can easily dine in or get takeout for your room, and my daughter loves the pool. It’s a great location within walking distance of the Church Street area shops and restaurants. We’ve stayed here more than once and would absolutely come back again.

Great hotel. Vegan/plant based options at the restaurant. Amazing view to wake up to. However, there should be a giant warning for the intense HOMELESS PROBLEM near the hotel. They were tented all along the roads walking towards church street marketplace. They were loud and rowdy and harassed us as we walked by. Trash was everywhere on the lawns. Gross. If I knew about the homeless problem in this city, I would have chosen somewhere else to vacation.

We hosted our wedding block at the Hilton Lake Champlain and their team went above and beyond to accommodate our guests with limited mobility. We’re especially grateful to the bell captains, Raymond and Denior, who escorted a senior member of our party 5 minutes downhill to ECHO, our wedding venue—just amazingly generous and kind. Shalamar was incredibly attentive to all the rooms on our floor. Zacharie and Audrey were very communicative and helpful throughout the entire, 9 month planning process, and made sure our wedding block reservations and farewell brunch went off without any issues. The courtyard where we held our brunch—also where we did our first look—is a beautiful space with a view of the lake. Their team set up our flowers and details from the wedding reception so our guests could see them one more time. Thank you to the whole staff for going above and beyond to make our family and friends’ stay an exceptional one!
