So the hubby and I have both picked up UBEREATS deliveries from here, so for my bday he (along with my close friends) surprised me!! Can I just say this was an experience that anyone who can afford it should have-not only because the food was magnificent, but the staff was truly amazing! I'm big on customer service and even tho our full party hadn't arrived, we were lead to our reserved room and immediately introduced to Jen(we found out later she's also the manager and we see why💪🏽😁). The way she gave us a very detailed synopsis of the Off Menu items, we were ready to order drinks(there is no drink menu for this, but they offer all the regular cocktails-i for a whiskey mule and it was strong and delicious 😋)cuz the actual menu included alot of stuff I wanted to try! 30mins later, we finally ordered not bc of them but because we were comfortable lol. I went with the fresh seafood pasta sub the angel hair pasta 🤤 and hubby veal(it was new for him and he wasn't too fond of the bone marrow 🤣🤣🤦🏽‍♀) also had the mussels which were smaller than I expected, but still flavorful! All of my guests truly enjoyed the food and hospitality-we will surely be back again.

Northern Italian Cuisine on The Hill!

Chef Brad Burns coined the Mozart of Meatballs, the Beethoven of Breadsticks, the Sultan of Steak, Papa of Pasta, and the Duke of Dessert.

Lorenzo's on the Hill in St. Louis is a Northern Italian cuisine standout. The diverse menu, accommodating various tastes and dietary needs, ensures a fantastic culinary experience.

From the exquisite shrimp scampi to the flavorful shrimp risotto, each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. Despite our fullness, the tempting dessert options were unfortunately left unexplored. Perhaps a reason to go back.

Check them out!

The food here is excellent. We got the arancini and goat cheese ravioli to share and those were flavourful and tasty! I got their specialty "surf and turf' which was a rib eye steak with grilled shrimp on top with asparagus and potatoes on the side. I've never had potatoes like they made it, they were so interesting looking and tasted different from potatoes I've had before, very good though! The steak was the highlight, very tender, cooked perfectly medium, and enough seasoning to bring out the taste of the steak. The asparagus were good too! I loved how homey the restaurant felt and the waiters were all so nice and patient and kind. Everything was served promptly.

Had a reservation for 25 on Friday night before Christmas. Lorenzo's has always been a good dining experience for me so I wanted to share with others in my party that had not been before. I have to say that everything was on point, from the time we walked in directly to our table till our introduction to our server (yes we had one server for our group). This young lady was amazing from drinks, to appetizers, to entrees. Nothing but praise for the couple hours that we were there. Everyone had accolades for the meal and evening. I had the Braised Ossobuco, which was very tender and the risotto was equally delicious. I highly suggest Lorenzo's as they do offer items that are not at other St. Louis Hill restaurants.

We have eaten on The Hill for 50 years and have never gone to Lorenzo's Trattoria. It was fabulous and we were very impressed. Antonio was a wonderful steward and we enjoyed his help. It was my son's birthday and the birthday treat of cake and gelato was yummy. We can't wait to return.

First time here and had a fantastic experience! Prompt service. They have staff walking around actively taking away dishes and filling up your water. Beef medallions were superb! House salad was also great! Will definitely come back here again!

By far the best Italian restaurant in St. Louis!!! The food is outstanding (we usually get the goat cheese ravioli appetizer and chicken spedini). Typically they split the dinner salad onto two plates which we greatly appreciate!

The ambiance is so nice and the people are not loud or boisterous either.
Now for the food, this is my favorite Italian restaurant on the Hill. Not once have I ever had a bad meal in all the years I've been going there. I highly recommend making a reservation as it's a pretty busy place.
Our starter was the Eggplant Parmesan and Creamy Herb Polenta with mushrooms, and Italian Sausage in Truffle oil.
Next salads, we all tried the Caesar, Bibb and House salads as you can't go wrong with any of them.
For our Entrees we had
Potato Gnocchi
House-made with luganiga and arugula in gorgonzola, fontina and parmesan sauce, Chicken Risotto
Saffron Risotto served with grilled chicken, asparagus and fresh tomatoes and last Grilled Beef Tenderloin Medallions
with garlic whipped potatoes and asparagus in a mushroom red wine reduction.
The dessert was Traditional Tiramisu.
Of course, drinks too and some wine.
With their flavorful food you just can't go wrong along with the size too boot.
The Best Gnocchi in town for sure along with the amazing sauce.

This was our first visit to Lorenzo's, and it was amazing. With eight in our party, and each ordering a different entrée, I'd say we sampled a good selection of their menu and EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. The waitstaff were spot on. They answered all of our questions thoroughly and made recommendations when we asked. Great experience. Highly recommend Lorenzo's Trattoria.

The service was fantastic. Bella took great care of us. The food was delicious. We are repeat visitors. A few years ago, we drove all the way from the Champaign-Urbana area and back just to have dinner there.

When you visit STL, eating in The Hill area is a must and I highly recommend Lorenzo's Trattoria. The service was exceptional - very attentive, helpful, & knowledgeable. My colleagues & I ordered 3 different dishes and we each were very satisfied. I ordered the steak medallions, they were cooked perfectly, the asparagus was tender, and the mashed potatoes were so flavorful.

1st visit to this delightful restaurant on The Hill. Opened w the tomato/mozzarella/basil salad and chose the baramundi entree. Other dishes at our table were the orcobasso and beef spiedini. Rave reviews on the beef spiedini! All entrees served hot and seasoned nicely. Excellent service. Thank you Lorenzo's for a great meal!

If you are in the mood for quality food and awesome service, this is the place to go. Tasty appetizers served hot and freshly made. Absolutely one of the best house salads. Crisp cold lettuce with great house dressing. Main entrées included osso bucco that melted in your mouth. Angel hair pasta with sauce you couldn't get enough of. Trust your instincts and stop by for a great meal.

Only negative is that it's a little too dark which a lot of upscale places live to do but besides that usually perfect .... skip the Porterhouse special a bit roo fatty.

Proposed here and came back a year later for our rehearsal dinner. I love this place... the people, the food, the area... it's just simply one of the best

I’ve eaten here several times and the food is always good. It’s the perfect price and style for the Hill. You can tell that the kitchen has some amazing experience in it. Brought my parents and grandparents here (they can be hard to please) and they were thoroughly impressed! Will for sure come back. Maybe if I get lucky and have a date next time!

Wonderful dinner, food served hot-tasting scrumptious. Staff attentive did not need to ask for refills. I changed my sides and was acclimated without hesitation.
