Wow! Words can not express how appreciative i am.. during such a hard time it is important to have funeral service held by people who love what they do.
To help our loved one be put to rest is not easy. Dave is genuinely sincere and comforted our family as we were grieving my father's passing. My wife of 56 years died very suddenly from an aneurysm at the base of her brain. She was otherwise in good health for 77 years of age. In a few hours I found myself with family in Pittsburgh to give her the best chance possible for recovery. Seven days later, as per her wishes, we removed life support and she went to Eternity and Her Lord.
Our oldest son is in the State Prison outside Indiana, PA, and with the help of a good friend we contacted Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home and asked them to care for my wife and our family. What was needed was someone in Indiana so that my son could be transported from the prison to have closure with his mother. It was there that we had a brief viewing for him and several family members.
After my wife was cremated there would be two more CELEBRATIONS OF HER LIFE IN CHRIST: One was held in Reading, PA; the other in Mansfield, OH were she was interned in First English Lutheran Church.
The staff at Rairigh-Bence has been TOP SHELF in their care of my wife and both our families in this huge and sudden loss. Even though I had years of working with funeral homes, this was different: it was my (our) loss. The staff answered every question, assisted us with every issue, and have been available when I needed any help related to my wife's and our care after her death.
I cannot even imagine a funeral home providing more support than they provided in a unique situation, even five months after our loss.

Rairigh Bence Funeral Home has gone above and beyond for my Daughter Alayna Rose Funeral. The Service and everything else followed afterwards was Amazing. If your looking for a Funeral Home this is the Best Choice I have ever made. My daughter is my only child and I was always afraid of leaving her in anybody else's hands even after she was gone but once I stepped foot in the funeral home I instantly felt the peace and knew that she was in the correct hands and Speaking to the Funeral Director and his wife was so comforting ad caring and they really sat down with me and listened to every detail and all the things that my Beautiful bbg Loved and Enjoyed. I want to thank Jenny and Dave for everything you have done for My Beautiful Guardian Angel and I.

We were able to meet with Taylor the very day our mother died, and it has been a significant part of my healing. Taylor's patience, support, and professionalism was very comforting! Mom's funeral was beautiful and each time we met or spoke with Taylor we were treated respectfully and graciously. She has excellent at following up with the family afterward as well. 7 1/2 years ago, when my father passed, Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home gave us the same fine care.

From my first meeting with Taylor before my mother's passing, to the time of the funeral services and even yet today, our family was met with the utmost of professionalism. I had never planned a funeral before so I had many questions and hesitation on how to provide the most beautiful funeral to honor my mother. I lost both my mother and father within ten days of each other right before Christmas. Taylor showed my family the utmost compassion, care, and professionalism throughout the whole process. She treated us like family and took care of all the overwhelming details. She is patient, kind, and deeply cares about you and your loved ones. We were so blessed to work with her.

Losing family is super difficult. With the loss of our mom, there is nobody other than Dave, Jenny, and Taylor that we would have trusted with the final care of her. My family and I are grateful that we contacted Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home. With the passing of my mom, I did not know what the process entailed. Taylor handled the arrangements for us...taking the time to give us our options and listened to us about the type of person my mom was and arranged the church visitation/mass for her. She is very compassionate, kind and professional. Taylor kept me in the loop of the process since I lived out of town. Going through many viewings myself, I must say my mother looked very beautiful as if she was peacefully sleeping.

David and his team made a difficult time so much easier. They are true professionals and provided the guidance I needed. They understand grieving families and offer comfort when it is needed the most. I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services in the future.

Our family is so thankful that we had Taylor to help guide us through a very difficult time. The pain of losing our Mom was overwhelming. Taylor stepped right in and comforted our hearts as we made decisions for our Mom’s funeral. Taylor is the person you want at a time like this. I can’t even express how much she helped us! Her thoughtfulness on the small details will stay with us forever. Our Mom’s favorite flower was a yellow rose and Taylor surprised my brothers, sister and me by giving each of us a yellow rose at the cemetery. Taylor even had a yellow rose for my brother, Teddy, in heaven. We gave that rose to Teddy’s widow, Pam, and it was a beautiful moment. I dried my yellow rose and will keep it forever.
Taylor’s kind heart helped us get through the worst days. We knew our Mom was in caring hands and that comforted our family.
Thank you Taylor! I know you will continue to comfort other families experiencing such difficult loss. You are an angel on this earth!

Amazing service. We started off looking for the best price, and not only did we find the best price, but the service we received was top notch. I can not imagine getting better service. The price was better for cremation than any other funeral home by over $2,000. We dealt with Dave, and this caring man is what any family wants and needs to see when they are grieving. They helped with every aspect and kept us informed every step of the way.

David carefully and thoughtfully took us through the process of handling my father's arrangements, making a difficult time in our lives so much easier to endure. My mother and I are grateful for his kindness and compassion.
