Hoss's Steak & Sea House

Maybe I rate this a little high because I come with my sister almost every time I come to town. We keep coming back because the food on the menu and the food on the salad bar are good! The atmosphere is what you expect in this type of restaurant, pleasant but really you bring it with you. Noise levels fall in the acceptable level. Service isn't always perfect but it is good and nice to see new people learning the ropes of food service.

Our server was right on top of everything! Very pleasant and clean restaurant and salad bar! Everything that was supposed to be hot was hot..salad bar was excellent! Including deserts!

Salad bar was varied and delicious as usual. I ordered steak tips med well. When I got them they were more like well done. Tasted good but was chewy and a little tough. Next time I will order med or med rare.

Our waiter was very good! Having Santa, there was a bonus for grandsons

Upon entering facility at lunch time, we were greeted by a very friendly hostess. We were seated and had menus to look at immediately. We opted for the all you- can-eat salad bar. This included soups which today was buffalo chicken or Italian wedding soup. There is also a Nacho bar, bread, dessert bar with everything a sweet tooth would desire with Richies ice cream machine.
I cant imagine walking out of here hungry. For 3 of us the bill was 48.80 plus a tip. A bit expensive but it's a great place if you are hungry and want to not be hungry.

Great place to eat. Great service. Price is right! The white fish sandwich was perfect.

The food is great and the waitress we had was wonderful best waitress I ever had there . The food was cooked perfectly. The waitress did her job to a T we never had to ask for anything she alway made sure we had drinks . And this was only her second day working by her self. I can not say enough about how good she was as a waitress. She was a young girl her name was Rachel.

My husband, my sister in law and I really enjoyed our meals! We had a great waitress who said that she was in training but we thought that she was perfect. I've been to Hoss's before but this was my first time having lunch and also the first time making my meal exclusively at the salad bar. I truly enjoyed it so much that I didn't even have dessert. No room left. Lol.

Great Old Style Hoss' Steak and Seahouse, with The Center Fireplace in it...and ALTHOUGH I TRULY MISS THEM HAVING CHICKEN PARMIGIANA ON THE MENU, WE ALL STILL HAD A GREAT TIME, AND GREAT STEAK TOO !!!

For once we didn't get the salad bar. I had the grilled whitefish and hubby had a steak. Both were excellent. Wait staff were run ragged because of a power outage in town, which caused many people to search for dining away from home. Even then, our waitress was very attentive and didn't seem frazzled at all. Obviously she's worked there long enough to know how to cope. 🙂 We wouldn't hesitate to eat here again when we're in town.

I haven't been to a Hoss's since Covid hit. The salad bar was just as I remembered! Everything seemed fresh and just plain hit the spot. The soup was fresh and our entire experience was as pleasant as I remembered. The bathroom was clean.

Good food, great service! They are taking extra steps to help stop COVID19.

The waitress was on top of our food and drinks!

Food was great but the salad bar has declined in quality over the years but the staff was five stars in service and friendliness especially our waitress
