Delicious small diner with good food and great fast, friendly service. Very small town diner feel. The food was delicious, especially the home fries. The prices were very good and the restaurant was clean. Real eggs used in the omelettes.

Always plenty to eat. Salad was fresh. Didn't have room for desert but they looked delicious.

The food was amazing!! As a party of 7, everything everyone had was spectacular. The staff were sweet and friendly. Atmosphere calm. Food came out very promptly. Prices were great. We will definitely be making the travel from Altoona to enjoy their food again.

Great food, and the pricing is the cheapest I've seen in a long time. We waited a little longer than I would have liked for our food, but we were not in a hurry, so it was no big deal. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area!

Went there over my lunch break and they had my food on the table in about 15 minutes. Extremely friendly staff. It was very nice to sit and watch the waitresses talk to the customers like family. Amazing environment. Will be coming back until I try everything on the menu.

Sooooo delicious 😋 Homemade food and Amazing prices! Just a nice quiet place we were able to enjoy while a family member was in surgery at the local hospital. A nice place where people know each other by name.

The food was incredible, the waitresses were very friendly, the place was clean and nicely decorated, and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely come again if I was ever in the area.

Very pleasant experience. Didn't have to wait very long for our food for a Friday night. Wait staff were very friendly and competent. Food portions for the price were more than can be expected, I've paid a lot more for less, especially chain restaurants. Looking forward to going back.

Best soup!!! Best burgers and steak sandwiches...Wonderful Chicken and waffles...Great saurkraut and pork and mashed potatoes....Homestyle meals at their best!!! My husband and I love it...Yummy turkey dinner...roast beef dinners, hot sandwiches...club sandwich is so good...called a combo sandwich.....and delicious home made pies of all kinds... also cakes...And prices are the best around also...If you like fish...try the "big fish"...delicious...

Had an enjoyable late evening Birthday dinner with the sweetest woman I know! I had the founder meal and she had the liver and onions. Both were Top-Notch! Thank you for the kind and attentive service! Always a Luscious meal at Donna's!

The fried potatoes were very good. I had creamed dried beef on toast and it was also very good.

Looking for a mom and pop type of cafe, we spotted Donna's Family Restaurant on our right as we were on Hi. 22. Turned around and stopped in. Service was great. Food was absolutely delicious. Coffee was hot and good. Every thing was home made, not out of a box. Price was great too. Only draw back is they take ONLY cash. No Checks or credit cards. May be some day that will change. Two of us ate lunch for under $15. WOW where can you get full, home cooking, and lots of food for that any more.
