Salerno's Cafe

We go to an old forge pizza place every time we are visiting in Wilkes-barre/Scranton. This restaurant is my boyfriend’s favorite. We finished the pizza in the photo between the two of us. I know old forge style pizza isn’t for everyone, but we love it!!

First timer I just wanted to try new and all travels a county away for pizza got a plain tray of red to try for take out and will like to dine in next time and try other things on menu

It's always a pleasure getting Salernos. Great prices. Especially wings my son loves anything you decide on will be top knotch!

First time there, really nice experience. Waitress was fun, friendly and provided great service. Food was excellent! Would definitely go back!

I've been enjoying this spot for several years now. Most I can tell you is that EVERYTHING is good here! You won't be disappointed with anything. The pizza pictured is a Stuffed White Pizza With Broccoli. Whatever you choose to eat and drink you will be happy with, I can assure you of that. 😀

Our 1st visit to the "Pizza Capital of the world" was absolutely everything we wanted it to be (with Coronovirus lockdown expectations) we were sent here by our amazing Nurses @Taylor Moses NICU!! (Also the best) We ordered several Appts & several cuts. ALL were beyond expected flavor. Jalapeno Poppers , using local grown jalapenos homemade hand stuffed cheese & battered a MUST! Mozzarella sticks gooey, potato pancakes perfectly crunchy, it was ready when we arrived and were greeted with a very warm welcome. Wish we could have sat down, beautiful spot. The smell hit me as I walked up and when I opened the backdoor for pickup, another , stronger wave almost knocked me over. Thru my mandatory mask, I was still blown away and wanted to eat the air I was breathing. This was our 1st visit, of MANY more to come! Bravo!

Pizza was awesome, wings was better the only small problem was pizza not cut all the way through.

great pizza, slightly more cheesy than other OF styles. Pepperoni is the way to go

Amazing pizza, staff, and atmosphere… The Old Forge Style Pizza is out of this world and a must if you have never had it before. The pasta and sausage was homemade and top notch. I have only been here a few times but will definitely be frequenting this place more this winter.

First time trying sicilian style pizza. Not my favorite style of pizza but it was good.

Went for the pizza. We live in South Jersey but when in NEPA - it is Salern's that come the closest to Green Ridge Pizza [ OUR GOLD STANDARD BY WHICH ALL OTHERS ARE MEASURED]

Just as I remembered from 20 years ago & it brought back so many memories. This is the best pizza around!! I love it more than mozzarella pizza.

Great evening with family. The best Old Forge pizza. Got 1/2 red 1/2 white to take home to N.J. it was delicious. Our waitress was amazing. Antipasto was the best. Thanks for a great night!

True Old Forge pixza-- those that knorr there is no need to say more.
They also have great gnocchi, tripe and pasta dinners
You will never go there for the atmosphere but you will never forget the Pizza-- white or Red.

Very nice place. Good pizza!! My wife and I had dinner as she wanted some pasta. She had Chicken parm and I had Shrimp Scampi. Both dishes were very good and we had enough to take home and eat for lunch the next day. The young lady that was our server should be given a raise. She had the whole back room by herself and it was packed. She was running her butt off and still managed to be very professional!!! Thank you for your service on July 03, 2023!!!

GREAT FOOD, the pizza is 2nd to none!!! BEST white pizza EVER!!!
