Great store though pricy, it carries my favorite cheese so I really don’t care about the prices.

Everything is always so fresh and very reasonably priced. excellent staff very knowledgeable. They keep the store spotless at all times !

This Store is so clean and the staff is very friendly. They have some good pre-made foods. And there deli has such a wide range of foods. Pricing is decent there are sales all the time.

I love this Gerritys. Everyone is soooo nice. It still has that down home family feeling when I go there. Awesum little store.

We choose this store over others at an equal distance. We do our weekly shopping on Seniors Day, every Tuesday. Have done so for years. Now we even get an exclusive hour from 7 to 8, and a discount all day, so we feel pretty safe. Everyone seems to be as afraid of the virus as we are.

That being said, It's a small store. Some people might find the selection limited. We don't, instead, we enjoy top notch personal service and the same friendly people over the years. The meat and produce are excellent! There isn't an Italian recipe you cannot complete with what they have in stock.... So we're good!

Love this store. All the employees treat you with respect and dignity. And they are very helpful. The produce is top quality. So are the meats. Sometimes the steaks are cut too thin but I can understand that because not many people can afford buying 1 inch thick steaks for their family.

Italian long hots are so hard to find. I traveled 20 miles to get them here and they were so tasty with a nice heat. The produce is so fresh! They have a prepared hot food area with specials, very nice deli section, and delicious fresh Italian seeded bread which is also hard to find. Staff is extremely helpful and happy. Very pleasant shopping experience.

I know a falt of most is not forgetting the past!. I forgot my strip steaks at new self checkout. But... thankfully staff at Gerritys didnt. Thx for replacing my dinner plans. Gods Grace forgets we dont. God bless. #Past Missed/steaks. Paul kaulfers

Great selection, good deals.

I was there to pick up a few items. The only money I had was quarters, dines, & nickels to pay my bill. I handed the clerk my bag of change, she very politely counted out what I owed.
I love shopping at the west side & the Kayser Oaks Plaza Gerrity's! Both are great stores to shop at. I love the pastries, there not only good but priced right.
Keep up the good work Mom, my wife and Iove shopping there !!!

The perfect neighborhood shopping market, doesn’t always carry what you need but it is really good to be able to go in and just do a quick weekly shopping typically the items that you need that they don’t have our specialty items where other local stores may have them. The employees there are very helpful but helping you find anything that you may not be familiar with and they are also very nice. Recommend a visit to this store!!

My family has been shopping at Gerritys since before l was born. I shop here atleast once a week. I like that it's more family orientated. The deli and bakery are both excellent. Their prepared foods are delicious. The mashed potatoes literally taste like you made them yourself. Actually all the food tastes home made. I've never gotten a meal there l didn't like. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. You can ask the butcher where cake mix is and they'll be able to tell you what isle and exactly where it's located. Unlike other stores when you ask where something is and you get "I'm sorry l don't know this is my 1st time in this department". The store is the perfect size. You won't get lost, your in and out. They also have alot of registers open ALL the time!! I've went in there 15 mins before closing and 3 registers were still open, so your not waiting 20+ mins in line with 10 ppl in front of you and 1 register open! Gerritys is almost like a Monument. Any time I've ever given directions or heard anyone give directions to any place in West side they always start with "Do you know where Gerritys is?". LoL

I usually only go here for their already made chilli and salad bar but I have noticed their prices of meats and have been shopping here more often. The staff is friendly. The place overall is stocked well, clean and organized.

Love this place. Staff is always wonderful when asking a question and they are growing as far as healthier options like vegan items and gluten free items.

Love Gerrity's. Their store always has fresh produce and meats. I also like the meal of the day, chicken and great sandwiches at their deli counter. Plus they employ the friendliest people.

Like always...chicken from the deli was AMAAAAZING!
Seriously folks, if you haven't tried the fried or baked chicken at Gerritys...
you don't know what you're missing!

I stopped for some luncheon meets. Lady beside me was having some cut by one of the other deli workers. One deli worker had just finished with a customer and turned around and asked if anyone needed cheese sliced and the lady next to me did need cheese. We looked at each other and gave a thumbs up. This was in their West Scranton store. They have several stores throughout the area and I would recommend any of them.
