HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I have a 12 year old calico cat, Honey, who means everything to me. Last week, (three days before I'm set to go out of town) Honey started to look unwell. Honey is established with a different local vet but that office isn't open on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.

I came upon VCA Emmaus's website and I was thrilled to see they allowed online scheduling of appointments! Even for new patients who had never been to the office before!

So, Honey and I rolled up to the office on Friday at 8:00 a.m., with no medical history, paperwork or records from our usual vet.

I expected this to be an issue but they proceeded with the history I was able to give them and just focused on helping my cat. Dr. Blair Mitchell, DVM and Stephanie the vet tech were amazing!

I just couldn't believe how kind, respectful and just plain nice everyone was! Another thing I really appreciated... the office was very up front with me about what each service or test was going to cost. This information was offered to me in a zero-pressure and non-judgmental manner.

I work in healthcare (for humans) and I found myself wishing more human medical offices worked like this veterinary office. I am so grateful for the help and kindness VCA East Penn in Emmaus extended to me and my cat Honey.

Super friendly. Waiting room has some space. Appointment was really smooth. They have plans to help support anyone’s budget. Bellamy loves the staff.

I have been coming to VCA since I was a very young kid with my mom and dad. My family has always brought our dogs here. Currently, as an adult, I have a mixed breed & a German Shepard I bring. They have always been just an amazing group of people. The staff is awesome. Believe it or not, there is a lady that works the front desk that has been there 30+ years. She actually remembers my mom and dog we had when I was like 10 years old. I'm currently 45. That's awesome! I highly recommend it!

Dr. Payne is amazing! After years of trial and error for my dogs skin allergies he was the first Dr. able to figure out what was wrong and prescribed him the medicine he needed along with getting him on the right food, I had never seen my dog so happy and his skin so clear that his fur even started growing back. We are exceptionally grateful. My dog is a puppy at heart again and we have Dr. Payne and his staff to thank for that. Its very hard to find a good vet and nice people to trust because our pets are like children and we only want the best care. I would absolutely recommend!

Update to my review:

There should be more than 5 stars to give. Not only did VCA take wonderful care of my dog for years, when we recently said good bye to her, they were so kind throughout the process and how her remains were returned to us was such a beautiful surprise.

Additionally their price for euthanasia was very reasonable.

I must give a specific shout out to Dr Mitchell, who has been the absolute best and most kind vet.

After having very bad adoption experience with the Lehigh Valley Humane Society, my experience here made me feel a lot better. We adopter our cat and at the time of adoption she had 0 issues health-wise. After a week of waiting for the shelter to spay her with little to no communication, we picked her up and found that she contracted some kind of respiratory infection. We brought her here and the experience was amazing. Everybody was so nice and performed all the necessary testing. Thank you so much!

A wonderful experience I have with my dog. They dog sis my dog and she come home with a deference look when she get home, like why am here when she was having fun with other dogs..Dr's are so great to take care my dog and the Staff are awesome doing a great Job of the reminder, Thanks VCA

Dr Payne is the absolute best vet in the Valley! The entire staff is so caring and they always take their time to explain everything. Thanks for doing what you do! Thanks for putting up with cranky Reggie who doesn't like anything you try do! And Lincoln thinks coming to see you is one of the best things in the world!

Very caring staff. We said goodbye to our cat Coal there, he was a good boy and we miss him very much.

I was there early in the morning of December 16th. My dog was very sick and we were unaware of how bad off she was. Josh Sprague was our doctor and he was so very kind and absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately we ended up putting our dog down and he made this terrible experience a bit easier. He was so gentle with our dog and made her comfortable. I would recommend this place a million times over.

Dr Payne is the best...he spends a great deal of time explaining everything going on with our Layla.

The staff and vets are the kindest people. I always know my baby’s are in good hands and receiving the best care. Thank you to Dr Curran and Dr Mitchell for always taking the best care to my two cats, and the girls at the front desk for being friendly and helpful.

Everyone is always helpful they helped me with the ordering the medicine by mail made everything easy for me and the doctor and staff are always very nice and caring.

Multiple visits. My beautiful, sweet. rescue pup had metastatic breat cancer. Each visit was met with loving, caring vets who grieved with me and made my baby comfortable until it was time for her to leave me. Their kindness will never be forgotten. When I'm ready for another rescue, I will be back. Thank you so much.

Love this veterinary office! I had an emergency with my dog and they were not only extremely willing to help me so suddenly, but they were SO nice! I wish I had gotten everyone’s name but from the front desk staff to the techs and Dr Mitchell, AMAZING! Every single staff member I met was caring, these are the people you want to be around you and your pet in these emergencies. I’ll be recommending this office to everyone!

I can't say enough about Dr Mitchell and the entire staff. They were so kind and caring with my sick kitty Charlie. The Dr even called me to check up on him. Definitely highly recommend!!!❤

We had an appt for our pet & met w/ Dr Payne who was exceptionally professional about the exam & instructions., plus very nice. Everything was handled to every detail w/ safety in mind & they are following the CDC guidelines. The office staff were very nice & informative too. Great care was given to our pet. This was the 1st time there. I would Definitely recommend this veterinary clinic.
