Anyone remember Dougs growing up? The little shop down at the laundromat? I missed that place so much and now we have The Womelsdorf Cafe and that gives me heavy Dougs vibes and a surge of nostalgia. If this was here when I was younger I'd spend all my allowance here on snacks and empadillas. Only thing missing is the assorted bulk candy but they have a lot of odds and ends. Tobacco, personal care products, toiletries, chips, baking stuff, drinks, car care, socks and t shirts. and a couple slot machines. They should put some signs up down at the truck rest area for otr guys to see. This wouldn't be too bad of a walk to stretch the legs after a long haul, going on break. I didn't see anything wrong with the prices or sizes either. Portion control! Honestly pleased. Just a shame I've moved out of town or I'd come here more.

Went here with a friend and got 2 milkshakes, I got the Cookie Monster and he got the snicker lover and I must say they were delicious. Highly recommend this play to anyone who has a craving for sweets and treats

Great addition to Womelsdorf! I just moved here from Kutztown and was missing the convenience and excitement of being able to walk down the Main Street and pick something up and this place totally has that feel! The shakes were great!

I saw this place open up and was very curious how it would be because it looks like a corner store in Reading. We tried the pastelillos and the only one that was pretty decent was the spicy chicken, but they had run out and it was only about 3 pm. I had also overheard them tell another customer they were out of bread for sandwiches. How do you run out of product when you just opened? They should have been better equipped when people flock to new places. We also tried the bikini bottom smoothie and the crush kat milkshake. The smoothie was extremely small for the price paid ($6), about the size of a coke can and was very very sour, I couldn't drink more than a few sips and tossed it. The milkshake on the other hand was at least bearable and had chocolate and ice cream but wasn't very sweet the way you would expect a milkshake to be, it wasn't exciting. Probably won't go back unless to order spicy chicken pastelillos if they have them in stock. Also posting photos of the menu for anyone curious about prices.

The first time we eat here the pastelillos where really big and meaty. The last two times we've eaten here, they were horrible. The pastelillos are the size of two quarters and they charge the same price. I am so disappointed. Don't waste your time eating here.
