Lum's Fernbrook Inn

Went for lunch with friends. Service was good, pleasant atmosphere. Food was good and prices were comparable to other restaurants in the area. I would recommend ordering seafood or fish...although the burger was delicious.

This was our first time here and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is best described as beachy meets Christmas right now. The service in the bar and the restaurant was great. We will definitely be back in the future. I would recommend reservations because they had a decent crowd on a Tuesday night, I can just imagine what it was like on the weekend.

A bit pricey but good food. Drinks were unimpressive. Stay on the simple order side of drinks because that's not their forte.

Cold water lobster is Soooooo sweet! The haddock is superb. Love the lobster bisque. Wife loves the crab legs they remove the meat for you. Plus I find myself talking with the staff and before I know it my food is out. Great people great place. Parking is a lil tight, but only because it delicious. A real gem!

Out favorite place in Dallas. Their seafood is better than any other restaurant we've visited.

Love their drinks and the people behind the bar...especially Matt and Tracy.

Great price with clam special, but the clams didn't have any flavor, as if they were either previously frozen or left laying in water. Also, scallops tasted like salt or iodine. I normally love this place but was highly disappointed on the last 2 visits. I hope they do more quality checks on the taste of their seafood.

Had Mother's Day dinner here, and we left very happy and full. The crab cakes were very tasty and massive! All the seafood is fresh and prepared very well, so you should have a nice meal no matter what you order. Prices are a bit higher, but what you're getting in return is well worth it, in my opinion.

The dinning room has limited seating, so highly recommend making a reservation before stopping by. They do have a bar where you can order from the full menu or a bar menu, but it also has limited seating.

We were there a Friday in Lent for the lunch specials. So were a lot of other people.
We had the clams and fish with fries. All very good and reasonable in price.
Though it was a full house, they got everyone in & seated, tables bussed
All the other food looked good too.
If you like seafood, I would definitely recommend this place.
Last time we went we had the lobster stuffed with crabmeat.

Excellent! Haven't been in few years as moved oo are, but better than ever on fathers day! 16 oz lobster warm water terrific and my husband and daughters steaks perfect! And clams great deal yum.

We had crab cake and fish and chips. Both Very Good.

I liked the atmosphere. I think it depends on your taste. Our waitress was fantastic. I went there for lunch the menu is reasonable and the meal was very good. I will definitely go there again.

Delicious seafood, wonderful service, butter on the table, best kept secret in the back mtn.

Always enjoy our dining experience at Lum's. Great service, delicious food. Started with a single order of clams and the lobster bisque. The bisque was loaded with lobster and very rich and creamy. The Captains Pat Platter was loaded with fish and seafood.

Definitely a good country oriented restaurant. Not very fancy, all the goodness lies in the food. Best lobster you can get in the area. 🦞🦀

Had lobster tail special and wife had Salmon. Both were excellent and the twice baked potato was magnificent. Tables a little close together.

Had a mini family reunion. Everyone loved their food. Service was fast, food was hot and delicious. Waitress was great.

Excellent fish fry special for Lent. Fish and fries were nice and crispy, came out nice and hot (was fresh fried) and did not taste oily at all. Coleslaw was good. Service was excellent. Highly recommend this place.

By far the best seafood in the area...hands down. Everything is fresh and homemade. I had the Maryland crab bisque soup, amazing. Both of us had lobster, I had the warm water and my friend had the 19oz, yes 19oz cold water lobster.. they we both cooked to perfection and were precisely and skillfully prepared and served butterfly style. There is literally no where, including Caribbean Islands, where we have had a more decadent lobster, not to mention the soup and sides were beyond delicious!!!! A hidden gem of a restaurant.

Delicious dinner, the best lobster around. Great place to eat.
