Mama's Pizza

I have been patronizing Mama's Pizza for a number of years. I travel close to 40 miles one way to go there and this should give some indication of how I feel about the food.
First. A note on some reviewer who've said the counter staff had been "rude", or "didn't thank us for the business."
I have found the usual two gentlemen, one of whom is the owner, are very cordial if you indulge them in conversation FIRST. They want to give you a nice, tasty pizza or sandwich...they do not put things like, "So, what about this COLD, huh? I wonder how long it will last?"
Gimme a break. The counter staff are New York in their style; they aren't RUDE, they are focused on doing a job. If you think being asked, "So what'll it be?" is rude, then I don't know what to tell you. I have had wonderful conversations while waiting for my Pizza to be made. The economy, the last lockdown, forced them to cut down on dining room staff. I am thankful that they are still in business.
Ok, now for the review, which will be short and to the point (but NOT RUDE).
Mama's pizzas remind me of great slices in The Village. RAY'S and JOHN's on Bleecker St.
This is HIGH PRAISE. If you haven't been, you'll have to trust me. The thin crust is always perfect and the sauce? Sweet, but not overly so. Just right. In all the years I've been going there, I have NEVER received anything but a perfect, delectable pie. When the need for Mama's Pizza descends upon me, I have no choice but to go the near 40 miles from my home, and bring the huddled masses back two pies...almost always missing a slice that I HAD to put in my PIE Hole!
Oh, and that brings up another important fact for pizza connoisseurs who eat their slice while driving; Mama's cheese never slides off, ruining a nice shirt or burning your neck and chin...or chin and neck. You fold it in half and enter Pizza Nirvana.
And, as Forrest Gump would say around a mouthful of Mamma's; "That's all I have to say about that."

I've been coming here for a bit whenever I'm in the area for work. It's absolutely amazing food, pretty much no matter what you grab. Highly recommend the Super Italian sub or the Meatball sub personally. Pizza is solid as well, of course, and I particularly love the pizza fries. Only thing I could see some people not liking, their marinara is a bit on the sweeter side, but for me that's a bonus!

Awesome food in little Cleona. Don't sleep on Mama's! Never got something I didn't like here. Notable is their great sauce and home made bread. Pricing has definitely increased recently, however still reasonable. Great for take out - food is usually ready in only 10 minutes.

Both my wife and I ordered meals, not "fast food" items, although we have had them there before, and they were delicious. On this occasion, she had lasagna, I had lobster ravioli with crab sauce. Both were excellent, and both were enough for another meal forceach of us. The meals also came with fresh bread (very flavorful), butter, and side salad.

The food tastes great and large portions for a great price! The parking is a little rough but it's probably hard for them. Very interesting water feature

I am here from out-of town and the older home like loom of this place drew me to it...and man am I glad I stopped that has to be the best pizza ive had in a very long time. The patrons were extremely nice and attentive. I highly recommend this place to anyone and highly recommend their ham puffs and garlic twists too!!! Trust me you will not regret this stop!!

Food is outstanding and pizza is very consistent. Soft and flaky crust, homemade sauce that has the perfect amount of sweetness. Cheesesteaks are out of this world! Pizza dough rolls and they pile on the meat.

Love calling in and hearing that they’re busy so they stay in business. Hard working people and always have your food ready to go quickly. We’ve placed orders weekly since 2016 and have never been disappointed. Any negative reviews are from trolls that should get a job or PreMadonnas that are expecting 5 Star Italian Cuisine from a local pizza shop.

I love their pizza and it is only $8 for a large cheese on mon-thurs. Always quick friendly service and the pizza is always fresh but not greasy. Cant beat that. Also really good garlic twists!

The food is always fresh and delicious. The owner is a happy and informative fellow. If you have any questions about the history of Cleona he will be more than glad to share his knowledge with you. The ladies room is clean and pleasant. The fountain in the center of the restaurant is soothing an relaxing to sit by as you enjoy your meal. I high recommend visiting this place weather for just a single slice of pizza or an out of this world lasagne dinner. Manga at Mama's.

Always great pizza. Good quality crust and delicious sauce. The service is good, especially on phone in orders.

Definitely one of my favorite pizzas in tje area. And I am obsessed with their sauce I always order extra to dip my pizza in.

For the last 2 months I have ordered 2 large pizzas every Tuesday. I've never been disappointed and they always serve it in a customer focused way.

I eat here all the time. The food is good and the staff is always friendly to me. I like the chicken cheese steak, grilled chicken salad and the pizza.

Stopped in for a quick slice and glad we did. Awesome little Pizza shop and good food. Will be stopping by again when in the area.
