This is an amazing park. There are so many large trees, weeping willows, Japanese maples and I could go on and on all the trees. Amazing how large they are. You are walking a paved path with very well manicured roses and so many other flowers. There's a river that runs through the park and there's several mallards that make it home. It's free and the parking is free.

Beautiful and spacious park with a neat pond and a jogging trail around it in the center. Seems to be a popular spot for photo shoots, there were several people taking photos at sunset. Easy street parking.

Cedar Creek is a wonderful City of Allentown park featuring the Rose Garden, sculptures, active playgrounds, a swimming pool, pavilions and picnic tables, volleyball and basketball courts, and extensive paved trail loops with exercise stations. Cedar Creek runs through the middle of the park and flows into and out of Muhlenberg Lake where it continues to the Little Lehigh River just above the Lehigh River confluence.

I specifically picked this town for a weekend get away for visiting the “Allentown Rose Garden”. Pictures do this place no justice. You must go and see it yourself. The aroma of the roses and nature is just so refreshing. Magical experience, I loved every second of it. I walked, read, toll pictures and videos here and took it all in. Exactly what I wanted experience and more…

Great place to come and think or even study if you are a student from a near by campus. Also to spend time with your partner to enjoy the view. Many benches to choose from or grass if you prefer that. Everytime I'm there I'm thankful that our city has so many parks to choose from. Hopefully you will enjoy as I do.

Visited in early September so late for roses. Surprised that so many were still in bloom. Rose garden itself is small but is nestled in lovely large park. A few steps from the roses there are some plantings of other beautiful flowers. My hubby is recovering from hip surgery and the rose garden was the perfect size for a leisurely walk for him. Beautifully maintained with sidewalks leading the rest of the park.

The Allentown Rose Garden is a locally famous park. Many photographers from all over the area come here to do different images. The park has a very nice walk path, plenty of little lake type of areas, concrete art structures and in the summertime beautiful full grown trees and roses. If you’re ever in the area you should definitely make sure this is on your list to come visit, either in the summertime spring fall or even in winter it’s very beautiful as well.

Allentown Rose Gardens, Allentown PA - As Ministers/ Wedding Officiants at Kimberlys Blessings, we have celebrated Many weddings at this lovely place. We have found the grounds to be beautiful, with very nice, older stone Gazebos.

+The Gardens are seasonally more colorful in Spring and Summer, but also very popular on Weekends.

+ It is first come/ first serve to use the Gazebo and walkways for your Ceremonies/ Celebrations, so keep that in mind. (On a busy weekend there might be 3 or 4 Ceremonies taking place, each day.) Sometimes you may have to wait, for the previous group to finish.

Highly recommended. The beauty of all the roses in bloom, is spectacular! Let us know if you have any questions about Your wedding and this Memorable place for Weddings or Elopements, or if we can be of further assistance.

Wonderful park to walk. Only problem is people not cleaning up after themselves. Watched a birthday party for a 2 year old leave trash everywhere. Very sad.

Paved walking paths winding along Cedar Creek, with beautiful scenery along the way, including the Rose Garden, willow trees, and several ponds.

A great family walk spot! Loads of things to interest little ones. The beautiful rose garden is full of color in the summer months. The water fixtures are beautiful and run alongside wide walkways that make social distancing easier. Know before you go: dogs are not permitted in the rose garden, but may walk along other areas of the park.

If it were only roses at the rose gardens I would still give it five stars, however it is so much more than that! There is a Fitness trail, there are sculptures to enjoy, a reflecting pool, and a variety of species of other plants. Much of the walking trail is shaded. Now that we've moved down to Florida, we only get to visit there once or twice a year. I hope that people that live closer by make an effort to enjoy it far more frequently than that. It is a top destination for prom and wedding photos.

A truly magnificent, beautiful, romantic rose garden that is well maintained. Did I mention it's free to visit? That's right, completely free! When you see the roses in bloom, it's breathtaking. The smell of fresh roses as you walk by is amazing. The beautiful little ponds flowing from one to the next, gorgeous. Everything maintained perfectly. You can walk around, enjoy, relax, take your kids here, and even hold a marriage ceremony here. Go see this amazing place for the low low cost of free!

We visited this park while visiting Allentown for the weekend. It was soo hot on the day we visited we didn't stay long. However, the park was clean and spacious. They have a picnic area with grills and tables to eat. There's a lot of grass and greenery areas. The walking trail has little areas that give you different exercise descriptions. They have a few ponds and one in particular we saw people inside actually enjoying the water to cool off.

Now the actual rose garden area was just beautiful. The area was clean and not too crowded. The lawns were well maintained and you can tell they work hard to upkeep this section. They have statues throughout the garden and several places for you to sit and relax or just enjoy the scenery. This park/garden area is definitely a photographer's dream.

Beautiful place to walk, run, jog etc. Great view of Allentown with beautiful scenery and nice homes to look at, you can’t get any better in terms of running places in the city area. The walking parameters of the park is about 1.2 miles long around the far side loop. Check this place out!

Stopped at this park on the way home from a business trip. It was about 98 degrees out. The park is beautiful, well kept and full of different plants, trees and exercise equipment. It also has some nice sculptures scattered throughout.

The rose garden is young but still nice looking. The traditional garden is beautiful and planted up nicely. I couldn't believe how beautiful and clear the Brook that runs through the park is.

I am very happy that I stopped at this park.
