Love this quaint little theater. Just love going there. It feels like a warm hug. Will be there next Sunday for the final 2 episodes of season 4 of The Chosen.

The Allen theater has a great sound system and is a great place to see movies. I always check to see if they have new movies that I want to see.
The Cafe is nice too!

Great old fashioned theater with a Cafe. I had a chicken quesidilla and it was good. My daughter got pizza and she said it was okay, but didn't care for the sauce.

We had the theater reserved for employees for the night. The owners were very accommodating. And the theater is very clean inside.

I’ve lived in Hershey for 12 years now and this was my first time at the theater. Both of my boys went in 5th grade for field trips and loved it. I took my friend for her birthday and my son who is now in college and on break this past Saturday to see The Fablemans and have lunch at the cafe. We got there a little late, but they had a couple of tables in the back and they were so hospitable to bring our food in to us so we wouldn’t miss the movie. Good food, specialty drinks, old time feel. You can’t beat the prices. So affordable and I am on a budget. I will definitely be coming here more often. We had a wonderful experience. Thank you!

Awesome place for movies. A very 1940s feel to it. Popcorn was fresh. Staff was very friendly. Plenty of seats. Big theater, comfortable seats and great 7.1 surround sound system.

Held a 100+ person meeting at the Allen Theatre and was blown away! Ed and his crew were friendly and incredibly helpful.

The location is so beautiful and unique. The food and coffee was excellent, especially for the price. We had ample space to set up registration, auction and merchandise areas in the lobby, and more than enough space to enjoy the renovated theatre area during the formal portions of our get-together.

We were able to connect a laptop into the HD video system for presentations and were provided a microphone to tap into the surround sound.

Our attendees all remarked at the lovely locale. I can't wait to go back and watch a movie there. Highly recommend this as a location for your next in-person meeting. I believe it will hold up to 300 people.

For mommy daughter day we decided to treat ourselves to an event at the theater. They opened their doors for families to bring kids in for Xmas movies and visit with Santa. We ordered strawberry ice cream, carrot cake, and popcorn. My daughter met The Wizard of East - a magician and experienced his cool tricks. Everyone was sweet and the event was well organized.

We love the local hometown feeling of the Allen. Reminds us of our childhood, growing up with a theater or two in our home town, for a weekly show. The building has been tastefully renovated, new comfortable seats, beautiful wall coverings and a great sound system. The cafĂ© is reminiscent of the 1950’s, offering a simple selection of goodies like pop corn, drinks and candy. There are more nurishing selections, as well. The place is clean, the people are always friendly and accommodating. And we’ve enjoyed some current big-hit films. Thumbs up!

Love the old time theatre that has been wonderfully restored. My wife and I love to also stop into the Backstage Cafe for a milkshake or to have a couple sandwiches. The food is good. Just remember that it is a coffeehouse not an actual restaurant. They have made themselves an integral part of the downtown.
