2nd & Charles

1st time here and very impressed. They have everything sorted fairly organized for a used book store. It is so big I would have never guest it was a 2nd hand store from the outside. I ended up coming across a bunch of good option and left with something to read. I will definitely return to shop here again.

My daughter brought me and I was impressed. Not sure how to describe 2nd & Charles? It’s sort of like an overgrown FYE with better selection of collectibles plus books! I was impressed and will return next time I’m in the area.

I love this store. I mostly go for books, but they have a variety of things for sale, like guitars, collectibles, and music. Their prices are very reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful

Such a great variety of items, it's a great to visit while looking for treasures and books. I hope they relocate elsewhere in the midstate, come to Mechanicsburg!

This is a place to check out if you collect comics, manga, movies, vinyl, horror or anything else that your inner nerd would want. Tons of things to look at and the more you look the more you will find. I like their used selection of some of the items since it's lower prices and things that are harder to find. Their manga and comic selection is some of the largest I've seen in a while. The book selection is large as well so you can find pretty much anything you might be looking for. I'd recommend going.

Great place to wander among the books ! They have collectable, vinyl, dvds, toys something for everyone. Definitely a favorite of mine !

Great place to find you pop culture fix and to find an amazing selection of collectables. Tons of books, vinyl, funko pop's and other stuff!

I love the selection of items in this place. They sell new and used Recoreds, books, and more. I have never just waljed out with at least one book. They have great sales. I wish they still did the buy 5 get 5 weekly. Also, miss the clearance section. I love that they don't use bags. You have to bring y our own. The stuff is absolutely winderful. Always ready to help!

My sister took me there for the 1st time last Saturday...this is an awesome store love all the neat stuff they have ....highly recommend visiting

Great books are with consignment, cheap movies c d and books at rock bottom prices. The listening categories are slightly difficult to navigate. The shop will help you to find your book. Has restrooms and reading areas

very fun store, lots of awesome stuff. my only complaint, PLEASE put the pokémon cards higher up, they are basically all the way on the ground and stuffed in this little display case it makes it very hard to read prices and see them correctly! other than that, it’s really one of my favorite stores.

2nd & Charles is an amazing used/new bookstore that also sells vinyl albums and guitars. I’ll be going back to this store often..

How can you not love this store? There are such a variety of books and music and instruments and novelties and games.... I could spend a whole day there easily every time I visit. They have very unique items also that you don't see anywhere else and I especially love the wellness and self-care sections of the store. Plus every day the employees put out bins of free books for anyone to take and enjoy! 5 starsssss!

Our family absolutely loves this place. I could get lost here for hours. Excellent selection, great prices. I do wish the children's books were better organized (or by title or subject instead of obscure author) or they had a better "system" to look books up by, but as long as we have time to browse, this is the place to go.

Wow how have I not see this gem before? Perfect store for a geeky obsession. Especially if you like pop figures. My wife thought the store was going to be bad, and she wound up spending more than me.

2nd and Charles now have Gacha machines from Japan! I was able to get 2 sailor moons charms. Luckily different, 2 rilakumma figures, and 1 summiko gurashi penguin. They cost $3.49 per token; $3.70 with tax. A little pricey however you cant find these toys anywhere. Someone on Ebay is selling a Jupiter wand for $10, which is insane. I normally go here for blindbag keychains and DVDs. But I have been here twice now just for the gachas!!
