VCA ABE Animal Hospital

I’ve been taking all three of my dogs here since I got each of them. Dr Fusselman was recommended to me six plus years ago and I have recommended ABE to everyone I know since then. Dr Fusselman and her staff are extremely knowledgeable about and compassionate for my pets overall well being. They offer the best medical care and have always explained in great detail to me what services my pet would most benefit from and why. I never feel pressured to purchase a service and I never feel rushed or dismissed when I have questions.
I especially love that ABE staff go the extra mile to make my pets feel most comfortable during their visits. I have a senior Great Dane who is afraid of the tile floor. Staff at ABE put carpet down throughout the entire hospital when they know she is coming for a visit.
I’m also currently obsessed with the convenience of the myVCA app and the online pharmacy, Vetsource. ABE has implemented such self sufficient resources that make the oversight of my pet’s care so quick and easy; from making an appointment, to refilling a medication, or obtaining a vaccine record. It’s all literally at my fingertips and that works with my busy lifestyle.
Overall, I am beyond grateful to have such an exceptional team taking care of my animals. Dr Fusselman is an amazing human being and brilliant. I hope she knows that the time and energy she invests into her patients is appreciated.

Today was our first visit here with our new puppy belle. I couldn't have ask for a better visit, or doctor. Everyone we met today was very nice, treated our puppy awesome. Price was very fair for the time, and treatment we and belle got. I highly recommend abe.....

Excellent & exceptional service. Kate, front desk is the most caring, kind, calm person. Dr. Fusselman is knowledgeable & genuinely cares. She has earned my trust. I was able to get an immediate emergency appointment after my cat was having breathing problems. My cat was there all afternoon & staff stayed until 8pm to make sure Ninja was alright. He came come alive and well. I highly recommend & prices are fair. Thanks & truly grateful !

I see the negative reviews and just don’t understand. They have one Vet taking care of all of their clients, of course there is going to be longer than normal wait times for appointments. Dr. Fussleman is outstanding and worth the wait. She diagnosis problems accurately and operates with a noticeable level of care. I highly recommend them and so so do our cats!

Had to take my dog in today as he has not been feeling well and had some very concerning symptoms. I called this morning not knowing anybody in the office and was greeted very professionally and afforded a visit on the same day. Everybody was extremely friendly, including when I called as I couldn't find the building as it is set back a little bit from the road. They treated me and my dog with the utmost respect, and in fact I am now home several hours later and my dog is running around like normal again. I am very happy I found ABE. The doctor was amazing and not only was she extremely knowledgeable, but she was extremely compassionate and caring. Tanya at the front is a rock star as well. Very happy with everyone there. Impressive operation.

I have a nervous pit and he remained calmer than usual around Dr. Ashley. Very nice!

Best Vet in the Valley! Dr. Fusselman is awesome. She is personable yet professional and has a genuine concern and care for her patients and their owners. The staff is amazing, very friendly and they treat your pet as if it was their own. I can not stress enough what an amazing place this is for veterinary care. Highly recommended!!

I recently got two kittens and after a week of having them my one got sick, I called around and this place was the only one who could fit him in that day. Our doctor Ashley absolutely gave him all the attention and love she’d give to her own pets. He is recovered. We go back routinely for kitten shots, etc. everytime I am there they give the utmost love and care to each of them as well as answer any of my questions or concerns (believe me I’ve made lists of questions). I love this place and would recommend them to anyone. They will fit you in as immediately as possible and everyone from the desk to vets to nurses will shower your animal in love.

Such a wonderful staff- everyone is greeted with a smile and your animal is smothered in love immediately walking in the door! All the staff is outstanding! You fell like family right from the start.
Dr Ashley is such a compassionate person and I am honored she is my doctor! Can't say enough about how great everyone there is! Wish I could give you 10 stars!

I was pleasantly surprised at our first visit here. Hilary and Dr. Fusselman were great, and I'm so thankful that they both took the time to get to know my puppy since it was our first visit. Dr. Fusselman was very engaged in our conversation and more than willing to answer my questions (all while sitting on the floor since my dog was not a fan of being up on the table). Zoey also appreciated all of the treats! We will definitely be back!

Saw Wendy and Dr. Decant today for a healthy kitty visit. The office was clean and the office staff were very friendly. We didn't wait long and the rates were reasonable. They were great with our scardy cat. Very gentle and informative about vaccines. Even patient with my autistic son! Two thumbs up!

Everyone here is amazing from the reception team to the vets. Their prices are not extortionate and they are so loving with all the animals. All 3 of our pets have been coming here for years and have received high quality care in a friendly, clean environment.

Such a compassionate staff. We lost 2 dogs while in town for work. Brutus to old age and Claude to advanced liver cancer. Their care allowed Claude to have 4 more good months and we are so grateful to them for that.

Although ABE really stands for Allentown, Bethlehem, an Easton this hospital ABE should stand for , "A better experience !" Amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, and outgoing staff! They go above and beyond. They e huge on client eduction also. The practice manager, Ashley is a breath of fresh air and Tonya and Katie are amazing receptionists. Dr Fusselman and Dr Pinola are both friendly and thorough veterinarians and I would trust either of them to take care of my furbabies. Dr. Fusselman removed a tumor from my cat and removed several of his teeth and she did a great job! Great place to take your pets and a great place to work also (I'm a former employee). Highly recommend!

After being unhappy with my previous VET in Northampton (for VERY good reasons), it took me 6 mos to get around to research, get all my records together & schedule appt for my 2 chocolate labs. Many of my neighbors recommended this vet as did the Affordable Pet Center in Northampton (I highly recommend them as well). Their shots were coming due, and I wanted a 2nd opinion on a growth on my older (age 13.5) lab, which I had X-rayed, but was reluctant to do surgery. It suddenly became seemingly urgent, I was able to up the appt. To make matters worse, my younger lab (almost 11) suddenly got very lethargically sick, & my appt. was able to be upped again, for both labs. We were new patients, not existing, and were treated with utmost respect, professionalism, and love in a critical, sensitive situation. They were most accommodating, the facility was very clean, wait time was minimal, even when inside exam room, very detailed efficient scheduling. ALL the gals at desk, technicians AND my DR very knowledgeable, customer service oriented, on a canine AND human level. They were patient, prompt to assist with whatever I needed, took their time to thoroughly explain procedures & options and followed-up. We are still working on pet health issues- my total faith and trust is with ABE Vet Hosp.

Very friendly staff. It was our first time there and couldnt have asked for a nicer experience. They were great with our dog and explained everything so we understood. Definitely going back there.

I've been brinigng my pets here for years. Even when I moved out of town, I'd still make the trip just to bring my pets here. Dr. Fusselman is amazing, and her joy for animals is apparent. I'd recommend anyone to take their pets here.

They are excellent, friendly and very helpful. I highly reccomend using this vet, it's the only place I've ever taken my dogs and it's the only place I will ever take them!
