My sweet beloved dog "Giaonni" passed on March 21st. I want to thank the staff for the compassion & empathy at this very difficult time. I have been going to Walbert Animal Hospital for almost 15 yrs. If you have a pet you love this is the place to go to.Dr Mike(what I like to call him) is one the best vets around! He is very compassionate, direct, understanding & treats your pet like his own. He has such a caring heart. In closing I would like to say, God Bless Dr. Mike & his wonderfully staff!

A fortunate turn of events is what I call it.
Our 12 lb Morkie was disoriented , throwing up, listless and falling down. Our vet was just about to close and told us to go to an animal hospital in Quakertown. Driving up Walbert Avenue to get on Route 309 my wife saw Walbert Animal Hospital and I stopped only to find they were also closing. While explaining our situation to a young lady sweeping the floor a man walked from a back room and said bring your dog in we will look at it him. Within three to four minutes he had a pretty good idea of what might be wrong with our pup. I won't get into the possible medical issues that could cause those horrible symptoms but I would like to tell you about the man who explained those issues to me. He was direct, personable and knowledgeable. He was also very logical in the method of treatment which in this case was to do nothing now but carefully observe my pet in the next 24 to 48 hours. The next day my dog was remarkably better.
I can now only imagine the anxiety both of us would have had driving down to Quakertown waiting for expensive test results to come back, if they did come back that day, and then driving an hour back home with a lethargic sick dog.
Thank you Dr Finelli. I believe you will be seeing my dog and I again in the near future.

I'm currently fostering a dog for a local animal shelter. The dog developed a significant medical issue that needed to be addressed immediately. Walbert Animal Hospital stayed open after their normal closing time of 12 noon on a Saturday as a courtesy to the shelter. They were extremely helpful and professional in addressing the dog's emergency. 5 stars for the staff of Walbert.

My pets have been well cared for at this veterinary hospital for several years--2 cats, and a dog. Dr. Fanelli uses a conservative approach and does not push invasive procedures unless absolutely necessary. There are other vets there as well, but I don't know as much about them. Nice, knowledgeable staff/vet techs too.

They are great. We have taken our dog daisy here when she’s been sick and sadly the day we had to put her down due to her not doing so well. But this place has been very professional and loving.

First of all I've been to quite a few vets in the area, it's all about the all mighty dollar. Selling you everything under the sun basically because you must love your pets that's why you're there so they know that and take advantage.
I have a dog who has had an issue since birth basically, I've gone to a couple places with him and all they want to do is deworm him regardless of the fact that he doesn't have worms and has repeatedly tested negative, nooo they insist I deworm him and ALL my dogs racking up my bill as high as they can get it. Then they just put him on prescription dog food indefinitely done deal. We are sick of him looking like he's dying so we figured we'd try another vet. That brought us here, a friend from many years ago used to come here and I remembered she loved them. They did not disappoint. The KNOWLEDGE that this vet has is unsurpassed he's very well informed and he takes his time with you lays out a plan and makes you aware of it so you're on the same page. He's familiar with my dogs specific breed specific issues and doesn't want to sell me everything under the sun.
I have FAITH this vet will help my dog. And I cannot remember the last time I felt that way about a vet.
I was so tired of being helpless in this, and with these people I don't feel that way anymore. I watched my 5 month old English bulldog die because of the last vet who just didn't care enough. I wish I found them sooner.
Great people, amazing doctor, fair pricing.

This place is great! I needed a new vet after moving, it didn’t take too long to get an appointment and even when I made them the person I spoke to said “if you do have any emergencies before we see them let us know and we’ll do what we can to help”. Even if that was not possible, it was still nice to hear. Anyways, a month later and I saw the vet for my dog yesterday and cat today, and learned new things no one else had told me in 4 years of owning them. They also managed to clip my dogs nails which other vets and groomers haven’t been able to do. The vet was straight forward, efficient, educating and affordable. I feel like my pets are in good hands! Thank you!

Honestly, I'm in awe. They are really compassionate people who not only took my pet dog at the last minute. The cost is also excellent, and nothing was forced onto me. And maybe most importantly, my young child received respectful treatment and the appropriate care for her problem. To everyone, I would suggest them. The Wilbert Animal Hospital is well appreciated.

My parents started going to WAH when we came to the area when our pitbull was a senior and had cancer, back in 2014. Then I started bringing my cat, who recently passed away, and now I have adopted another cat who was abandoned by his family.
Dr. Fanelli is extremely knowledgeable, I learned so much from him, as I had never had, or been around cats before. He knows what he's doing & takes time to explain things in a way you can understand.
I may not be the easiest pet parent to deal with at times, I am extremely passionate about my animals, but I won't consider taking them anywhere else! I know they're in safe hands here.
Also, when my cat was put to sleep, I received a card from their office, signed by everyone. That was very kind and thoughtful. Little things like that, make a huge difference too, it shows compassion.

After not having luck with my very first vet I decided to switch. The staff is so friendly and I could tell my puppy felt comfortable there!! The vet was amazing and really took his time to explain everything to me... and I mean everything. He had his full attention on my puppy and all the questions I had which is all a new pet owner wants and needs!! Love it here and so glad I decided to switch!!

Dr. Finelli is great! They don't have you get extra tests or push for dental. You can always call them and ask any questions and the staff is pleasant.
