I happened to look around and somewhat randomly pick a book off the shelf with the title a quote by the Emporer of Austria. "I'm the Emporer and I Want to Eat Dumplings." This is similar to what my talking calico cat said "I'm Noe and I wanna eat." I would rate this college library as really relevant materials in social sciences and psychology. I didn't really have time to see the technical materials while I was there because I was also utilizing the Biomedical library and the numerous other libraries in town. There is even a cubby with extra charging cords that people have supplied which really helped out, even Duracell batteries were in there to use.

There are also medium encased lockers to use, but I couldn't get the code on the lock to work so I didn't use one. The exterior is brick likely built in the 1950s however the interior feels comfortable as a workspace and was updated more recently. The technical books are on the lower level and the main level has writing workshops. The upper level contains more of the humanities which are of interest to me actually. There are general access computers on the main level next to the charging cables. I had a good visit to this library on about 5 visits.

Excellent library. I was visiting Burlington for a day and needed a place with wifi for a few hours. I saw other reviews that the library is not open to the public, but this does not seem to be accurate. I am not a UVM student and I was able to access the library and get on the guest internet without issues. YMMV.

Love this library! They have free origamis that you can play with. The only thing is people get mad at you when you break them

The Howe library is a great library with a very wide selection of books. There are floors that are specific for noise levels so if you are looking for silence then the third floor is your place.
