If I knew about these reviews, I would
posted one earlier. I am a landlord in
Allentown, PA. Over the years, I have
filed two lawsuits at this District Court.
The first, the tenant did not pay the rent
and Judge Engler's ruling was reasonable. In the second case, Judge
Engler's decision was very wrong. The
tenant presented falsified photos and
lied repeatedly. Also, the tenant brought a witness who falsely claimed
to be a social worker. Judge Engler did not ask the witness for identification
or proof that the witness was a social
worker. The witness lied in court.
A few weeks after the court date,
I learned that the witness was a herion
addict who lived three doors from the tenant. The tenant was supplying the
witness with herion. Judge Engler
believed the witness, and ruled in the
tenants favor.
The ongoing incompetence of the
Allentown Police Department, and
Judge Engler and Judge Devine,
contribute to Allentown becoming
a magnet for criminals.

Very poorly run. MDJ Sirop allows a free lawyer to scoop tenants before hearing. Very disorganized. Dont get a decree in court sometimes 2 weeks. Pleasant and respectful but shouldn't be a MJD. Go back to city council

I did not want to give this place one star. If I were allowed to give a negative star, I would give two. This place is unprofessional, how my husband and I were scheduled for 1030 and were not called for over an hour. We scheduled this over 2 and a half months ago. When we arrived they picked up with such an attitude. I did not let that ruin my day, they asked us to wait in the car. They will call us when they are ready for our marriage appointment. We come in after being called and the energy was toxic, everyone looked miserable. I recommend no one, and I mean anyone come here to be married. They are unprofessional and very difficult people. They need proper scheduling and coordination. This place will ruin your beautiful day and mood. Stay clear from this magistrate for marriage. Thank you.

This people everyone in this office talk to you with so much disrespect like they untouchable they have no respect. I had be in court few times and this is the worse office in the district. I had been at the district courts few times I'm not perfect specially on union Blvd by Michael dmoore and I will said is the best district judge real honorable judge really fear,serious but at the same time he deserve respect and he really carry the law the right way really fear and humble

She is no good for nothing...locked me up and my bail alot than expected ...hate this pathetic judge

She is professional in showing favortism
