MVD Restaurant & Bar

This place is very good! I was told this place was Uruguayan and I was looking for some nice food in the area. I myself am from Uruguay and was curious to see if the meals would taste like authentic Uruguayan food. The quality of the food is pretty good, but I wouldn’t say all of the tapas resemble that Uruguayan flavor (such as the chorizo, which was pretty good, but definitely not Uruguayan flavor-wise). The milanesa, however, was extremely good, and close to what it would taste like in my country. But trust you can’t leave this place without getting dessert- I think the tiramisu could be my last meal on earth, no problem. I had the chance to speak to the chef as well, and she was very sweet! The place is small but cozy, has private parking, the service is great, and the prices are very reasonable. I’ll definitely be back!

An absolutely amazing establishment and by far the best restaurant in our area. From the food/drinks to the service to the atmosphere this place has it all! if you haven't been here yet, you need to check it out. It's definitely "worth a detour" ;) !

Been at MVD twice, last visit was last night for my wife’s birthday and let me tell you this place is the BOMB. From the staff, food, atmosphere, the decor, etc. everything is tasteful and welcoming. Recommended to stop by if you want something different, delicious, there’s nothing else like it in the area, trust me you won’t be disappointed. The variety of the menu is excellent, and there’s nothing we haven’t liked so far, food is tastefully done and well balanced flavors that will make you do the happy dance!
Did I mention how fresh the ingredients are ? 👍🏻

Exquisite! A fun experience tasting different dishes with friends. New flavors and combos all perfectly cooked and delectible. I didn't take pics of everything because we were too busy eating!! Highly recommend!

Update 10/20/23: ate here with my son and had a great experience. Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere. Hoping the prices don't climb much more as I would love to enjoy this more often. Wonderful restaurant and staff.

Went here last night for my 6 year wedding anniversary and I was not disappointed. Great atmosphere, great staff, and even greater food!! We sampled 5 dishes and every single one of them were phenomenal. This was our first time here and it definitely won't be our last! Thank you for a wonderful anniversary dinner!!

I went here for lunch with my friends and everything was absolute perfection. I got their pizza in under 20 minutes and it was hot and fresh! It tastes amazing. I also got their corqueta and it was a delicious bite! I would 100% order it again. For dessert, I got their lava cake that was oozing with choclate with a very subtle rich flavor.

Their service is out of this world and got our orders very quickly and gave us our food very fast as well.

First visit to MVD had a wonderful dining experience.

The environment is cozy and pleasant. The tapas menu is extensive and offers a lot of choices. We selected 5. The Chorizo (sausage) and Milanesa (chicken) are pictured together, also pictured is the Pulpo (octopus). We added Camarones (shrimp) and the Arancini (risotto balls). All were delicious!

Drinks pictured are the Venetian Spritz and Lover’s Demise (tequila). Also fantastic!

Lastly shown cannoli for dessert. Yummy!

Great time and we look forward to our next visit.

Went here for the first time this past Sunday for brunch. I was honestly blown away! The food was AMAZING! We ordered probably 8-10 different dishes to try and nothing was disappointing. I’m a pretty picky eater and I would eat everything I had again. The drinks were fantastic and the service was great. Can’t wait to go back! :)

Super yummy spot with modern atmosphere. Food is made in house and tastes amazing. Staff attentive and sociable. Cocktail list was also seasonal and tasty. Definitely worth a trip!

Dear lord all I can say!! If your debating going here stop and just go. Explore their vast menu and try as much as you can! We are 12 plates worth and I am food drunk. Full disclosure some items I couldn’t even think about taking pictures before I tried some. We will be back here again and again and again! Service was amazing. Staff and owners are as nice as could be!!

This is a great place for a nice dinner. Tapas style food means you can try all of the things that you think look good on the menu. The service was excellent and the bartender made a brilliant mocktail to compliment the meal. Overall, just a superb dinner.

Surprising find. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Don't miss the mushroom soup or the scallops!!

I am Uruguayan and this truly is a small piece of home away from home. The food was amazing; loved the mini chivitos, provolone and the peach cobbler. What was even better was the service and conversation - Sal and Val really do make you feel at home. Can't wait to come back!

Nice to have something different in the area. Small plates allow you try whatever you are craving, even if they don’t exactly go together. Food and drinks had a lot of character. Overall great experience, from food, to drinks, to service.

The most charming restaurant with the kindest staff that was so attentive and caring of our experience. Food is made with love! Can’t recommend enough!

This place was fantastic, the vibe was adorable and chill, and the food was great. I came with my family here because we were out of town and WOW. First, the restaurant itself had an adorable bar where you could sit while waiting for your table (the drinks were SO good). The seating was super cute and comfortable as well. Next, the food was delicious and tasty!! It was all served as little dishes, so you could really taste everything without getting too full. My favorite was a delicious salad that was made with goat cheese, dried cranberries, arugula (I think), and candied walnuts. Everyone LOVED the homemade raviolis and chicken (which was battered so nice and was also very juicy). It’s a little expensive but so worth it! Finally, the vibe was just so nice. When we arrived, there were some people behind us, and they stayed longer than we did! I highly recommend this restaurant!! ❤

Refreshing to see a new spot in the area that is elevated dining. The space is sleek and modern. The cocktails are well balanced. The wine list is impressive. The food is very good…we had 4-5 dishes between two people. Staff are very friendly and the owner was a gem to chat with.

Amazing tapas restaurant in a location you'd never expect. Everything was top notch and had some really fun presentations. Servers were attentive and the food was paced perfectly. Will definitely be returning to try some different dishes.
