Kyle was amazing! He guided us through the process of how to get the most for our house. He told us what needed attention to maximize value and sell our house quickly. Within 36 hours of putting our house on the market, it was sold!

Then the real test of his skill was helping us purchase our new house. He had to put multiple offers in for several houses and he worked well into the night to get the offers completed. He even worked while on vacation to get our offers in because houses were selling that quickly.

When we began the process of looking for a place for our daughter to live, we were not sure what we wanted; Apartment? Condo? House? Our search began online to see what was available. We saw something of interest and clicked on the site and through that, we were connected to Kyle Adams. Kyle immediately reached out and asked what our parameters were for our search. We told him we were not thinking of buying till the following summer and gave him a run-down of what, where and how much we had in mind. As a single mother, I have to say that my home buying experience was both terrifying and a little like a fairy tale all at the same time. There are so many things that can go wrong, and often a struggle to find the right house in the first place. Kyle was my realtor and answered a ton of my questions. I was probably a high maintenance home buyer since I had never had a mortgage before, and for the first time, I was making decisions alone. I knew what I wanted, to some extent, and the school district that I wanted to be in, but aside from that, I was pretty much clueless about the process between agents, sellers, buyers, and banks. When I finally found a house that seemed to fit everything I was looking for, Kyle made the entire process easy to manage and walked me step by step through every detail. Through the entire process, he kept me level-headed, forcing me to weigh pros and cons, which was helpful, because sometimes when I get excited I tend to only focus on the positives. Kyle wanted to make sure that this was going to be the right house for me, both now, and in the long run.

When it came time for home inspection, Kyle even made suggestions for people other buyers had used in the past and guided me through what I could expect with each of them. He scheduled the home inspection and kept me well informed through every step of the process. Kyle made sure to have the smallest details checked out, like having the septic inspected to try to avoid "surprise expenses" after buying my home. This isn't something that had to be done, but he knew my budget was tight, and he cared enough to be sure I wasn't getting myself into something I couldn't afford.

Step by step, through the home buying process, Kyle gave me advice and his opinion based on past experiences. Even if the message was that we were waiting for one thing or another, I always knew what was going on. Not knowing and waiting between steps were the hardest parts for me, you are so excited, but constantly second-guessing yourself, and wondering if something might be going awry. Having Kyle there to always let me know what to expect and keep me on track, was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Kyle even checked in with me after my purchase, to both thank me, and make sure everything was still going as planned and I was happy.

I felt comfortable with Kyle as soon as we began speaking over the phone last spring. We had a unique situation in that we needed to find a new home in Vermont, while still living and trying to sell our home in Chicago.
I went into my home shopping experience with hesitation because I didn't know anyone in Vermont that I could trust to find the right house for my large family and all of our requirements. Kyle didn't back down from our challenges. He immediately made me feel comfortable with his calm demeanor and knowledge of the area (this was a lifesaver!). I had to be able to trust the agent I was working with because we were so far away, and that wasn't an issue with Kyle. In addition to trust, I felt like Kyle was truly listening to my needs and not just shoving listings at me that didn't fit our needs. Lastly, but most important to me, was his patience. Kyle is incredibly patient. He made videos of homes that I was interested in because I couldn't see them for myself. He called me everyday to check-in, to give me updates and to calm me down if needed (always needed). When I felt particularly stressed, like when inventory was low, or when we considered building, or when our offers were turned-down, Kyle was there to support me and talk through everything, keeping me calm. When our looming school start date was closing in on us, Kyle quickly arranged temporary housing. He took all of these things in stride and never wavered.
We finally found a home that fit the bill, but it was a FSBO! I was so worried that the sellers wouldn't want to work with our agent, but Kyle approached the sellers and I think they loved him as much as we did! These sellers, like most FSBO, needed help with all of the formalities and he had no problem helping them too, knowing that we wanted this house. Some agents would not have been willing to get involved with a FSBO situation, but Kyle approached it so professionally and was able to successfully coordinate all parties to see the sale come through.
On another note, once we moved here, I didn't know anyone but Kyle, and when I didn't know where the football field was for my son's practice, he was the first person I called for help. Kyle is a great person, and on top of being a fantastic agent, I am grateful for everything he did for us. He went way above and beyond and while I hate to move...If I do, I'm calling Kyle and you should too.

Can’t believe it’ll be a year tomorrow since Kyle walked me through buying my first home. He was attentive and simply wonderful through the whole thing. While I won’t be going anywhere any time soon, I know who I will call when I purchase my next home.
