Bear Creek Cafe

I was overwhelmed with joy coming back to this lovely spot. The breathtaking scenery is enough for me to stop in let alone the food. While we visited we enjoyed some offerings off the summer lunch menu. We had the braised short rib quesadilla, the bear claw club and the basil tomato soup. All of the dishes were delicious, a lot of attention to detail and presented by a delightful server. After our meal we enjoyed a walk in their gardens near the creek. This is a must go in the area for a special occasion or just to treat yourself. 10/10 for sure.

No other place that could compare to the beauty of not just your establishment but the grounds, staff, food and service were always top notch. Thank you for such beautiful memories!

What a great place , me and my family love going there amazing food very friendly staff. The atmosphere is out of this world. It’s so quiet, so peaceful with the creek right by its heaven try it you will not be sorry..

Great breakfast and service. We had creamed chipped beef and pumpkin french toast. Coffee is also good. Cute gift shop too. Update: it is always busy here, but had lunch for the first time. The cheesesteak is so scrumptious!

My new FAVORITE CAFE! Come to this beautiful charming place and eat breakfast in this fairy tale like Cafe. The pancakes were so fluffy everything tasted so fresh and their unique blueberry cobbler coffee was delicious with the added sugar and creamer.
Their menu meal names are adorable. I ordered "the yummy bear" (similar to a bacon egg and cheese) for my daughter and i had the pancakes. Their prices were fair and the waitress was friendly and professional. Highly recommend for a serene/blissful book reading or date.

This was my second awesome experience at Bear Creek Cafe--and I'd been looking forward to it for 6 years! My oldest son went to Camp Orchard Hill, about 1/2 hour away, as a HS freshman, which was when I first found this gem of a dining experience on our way from NJ. This year, my youngest son went to camp and I made a point to stop at the Cafe to take in the beautiful sights and great food again.
Even though we had to wait 1/2 hour for a table for 5, the time went fast as we walked by the stream and took pictures of the endless flower gardens and unique building with stained glass and other charming touches. There's also a small, quality gift shop to browse in.
Everyone's breakfast was delicious (I had the Hawaiian scramble) and our young server did a great job.
Bear Creek Cafe is a must for anyone traveling through the area with a little extra time to enjoy an outstanding meal and lots of beauty for the eyes to feast on.

We stumbled upon thus place while checking out some waterfalls in the area. Such a cute place with some really unique items in the gift shop. We had lunch and it was really good! A surprise for basically the middle if nowhere! The flowers were amazing as well, and a really neat view of Bear Creek. We bought several treasures to take home!

Stopped here for a double espresso between remote meetings. Friendly and speedy service helped me to stay on time. Great looking menu. WONDERFUL LOCATION - PEACEFUL AND CHARMING. Great gift ideas everywhere inside and nice stained glass.

Nestled on the shoulder of Bear Creek this charming little cafe offers great food at a reasonable price. Walking in your greeted by a rustic gift shop offering American made novelties as well as a cute little candy and pastry counter. The dining area overlooks Bear Creek. Keep a sharp eye out for the garden gnomb! There is also an old upright public piano in the gift area! I highly recommend a stop here if your in the area.

Wonderful country side diner with beautiful views of nature, charming indoor dining with gift shop, outdoor sitting areas at patio, gazebo, or creek side sitting in one of four Adirondack chair. We spotted Bold Eagle flying the area just a little down stream from the Cafe during our visit. Their bird feeders by the windows invite a lot of different species, hummingbird, cardinal, quails and many others. Made a great place for bird watchers.

Food is great, country hash brown is made of fresh cut potatoes and really good. I ordered croissant which is not on their breakfast menu, but staff was very accommodating; it came out with light toast on the flat top, crispy on the edges and chewy, really good.

Service is awesome. The staff we had was very nice, attention to details, let us take our time and enjoy the atmosphere during our weekday morning visit.

Cafe close on Sunday. I can only imagine long wait on Saturday for a wonderful place like this.

Excellent experience. All the breakfast dishes were great, especially the Hollandaise scramble. So delicious. 👌🏼👌🏼 We sat at an outside table under an umbrella, which I highly recommend. There were so many beautiful flowers all around the dining area. You can walk around on the property by the creek and sit in the chairs overlooking the water while you’re waiting for your food. Just a great dining experience.

Everything time we are visiting the family this place is always on the list to visit. This place gets packed fast and always busy.

We stumbled upon this gem on our way to Ricketts Glenn. The food was amazing! We got the Bear Claw Club, and a cookie to go. The portion size was large, we couldn’t finish everything. While we waited for a table we were able to relax in a couple chairs they put outside by a cool river. We shared this relaxing set up with a gnome on the other side who was also waiting for a table 😎 I can’t wait to go back!

This place is a gem. The cafe serves breakfast and lunch. We chose to eat outside and found the atmosphere incredible. The garden is lined with potted plants that are targeted to attract the local birds and small animals. While eating breakfast we were treated to quite a show. The breakfast was delicious and the service was great. I had cream chipped beef on toast and my wife had the yummy bear (bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich). I would highly recommend this place.

Incredible 1st visit. They recommended the fish tacos which were absolutely delicious and I typically will never order fish tacos. I also bought a piece of Lemon Berry Mascarpone cake for my wife. Not only was the food excellent but it's such a great place to eat over looking the creek. Highly recommend checking out.

Really lovely place, great food and nice gift shop. The staff is very attentive and they give huge portions. I really like this place and would definitely drive from Jersey to enjoy the food and surrounding area.

A great restaurant with amazing food. Has a lot of unique handmade items to buy as well. Food is fresh and great portion sizes. Can't beat the views as well. A must cost when passing through this region. Kids will love it as well. One of the greatest chocolate chip cookie I have ever tried!

Unfortunately they were closed because they were cleaning up after hurricane Ida when we went thru. But the lady and gentleman there were kind enough to show us around and offered us cookies. If their food is half as good as their cookies I would eat there all the time.

What a beautiful place to go for my 58th birthday🥳 the atmosphere is beautiful. The staff is friendly. Delish breakfast. I live 1 hr from here,So worth the drive. Definitely a hidden jem.

The service was excellent. I had a really great club sandwich and there’s a nice gift shop, too. 🙂. We sat outside on a pleasant afternoon and there were many beautiful flowers and birds. It was just lovely.
