Mountain Mike's Pizza

Not so hidden GEM!!! We’ve passed by Mountain Mike’s many times and finally thought we’d try it out- Holy Cow!!! Cute and clean setup inside, great customer service, and FAST amazing pizza! LOVED the BBQ ranch pizza! Just wish we would’ve stopped here sooner. Definitely coming back again soon!!

In my reviews of eateries I will constantly talk about "management." This is what separates really great places from mediocre to awful places. This South Jordan Mountain Mikes has excellent management. If you go for lunch, this is represented in a very clean place and a full buffet table with premium choices of pizza. The salad bar could be improved however with bright clean lettuce that is cold soaked in ice water before serving. This crisps it and makes it crunchy and appealing. And this lettuce must be kept cold and moist in the salad bar. MM here is not quite there on that. So still some room for improvement but I give a rare pass here b. people ain't coming here for the salad.
The pizza at this MM is xlnt. A perfect non-sweet crust (shame on you Papa Murphys and Pizza Hut) that rests between thick and thin. The toppings you'll see here are the best in the business: roasted sausage, crispy pepperoni (oh so good), real fresh tomatoes, crisp green peppers and onions, lots of black olives, high quality ham, and good pineapple (yes, a great topping on pizza deal with it). And these ingredients are mounded on every slice even on the lunch buffet pizza all while avoiding the watery, gross grease fest of other pizzas. Each slice is perfectly cooked. Well done MM SJ.
Overall this place hits if you want hot, fast, and delicious pizza in Utah. Pizza places here in UT that reach this level are rare. See my photos if you think I've been exaggerating too. Caveats: go early for lunch buffet for an experience like my photos show.

Super expensive, I paid over $60 for two large (14 inch) pizzas, one with 3 and the other with 4 toppings. But, as you can see, they definitely don’t skimp on toppings. Doesn’t seem to be very greasy compared to say the pie and the crust is quite hefty. Overall very good pizza. 5/5 for taste. But only 4 stars due to price. However, if price is not a barrier, this is probably the best pizza in the state of Utah.

After passing this place many times, today I dropped in to see if they had gluten free and a veggie pizza. They did, and as it took awhile to prepare, I started to think they might take pride in preparing their food instead of throwing it together. Got home, opened the box and it was a great surprise to see the pizza loaded with big chunks of toppings. Hats off to the chef - Delicious. Great, unexpected experience with staff and food.

Wow. Great pizza. Had the pepperoni and a pikes peak. The pizza was so good my kid even ate the crust. The staff was so friendly and nice. My family will be back. Got a new pizza place to sit and eat great food.

Stopped by and had lunch, the pepperoni pizza is the best! They're salad bar is good and kept clean. Restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is nice and comfy. We will come back.

Mountain Mike's pizza in South Jordan is a Very very very good place to eat every time we come here. The price is worth the food, the employees, and just everything!

They never disappoint and their food is phenomenal! Always coming back!

We showed up to Mountain Mikes just prior to Christmas and expected to have the party room reserved for a party as we called and planned nearly a month ago. Another party had been booked in the room and they didn’t have record of the reservation we made. I was extremely frustrated as I had specifically planned this out so far in advance and have had it calendared and planned for so long. The managers (Michael and Alice) were quick to help out for the reservation mistake. They went above and beyond with generosity to make sure we were taken care of. We still had a great night dining with them and enjoyed the all delicious food! The dessert pizzas were amazing!! Good food and great service! We will be back! Thank you

I was happy to find this place. This restaurant offers a lunch buffet that is quite good. They really stack on the toppings to the pizza. Their price on the buffet is a little spendy, but worth it. Arguably the best pizza buffet I've had in a while.

Amazing service! We had a slight issue with our order and they corrected it right away. They took time to understand our needs as customers and the pizza was delish! First of many visits here, for sure.

Came in a little late in the evening, was kinda feeling bad because it was 30min before closing and we wanted to dine in. The gentleman who helped us was super friendly and made us feel welcomed and not rushed what so ever.

I grew up on this place in CA and this is the exact same style of pizza! Their best is their pepperoni, slightly spicey and crispy. I would also recommend their white garlic sauce in place of the red. Both are good, but that garlic white is amazing. This visit we got a cheese for the kids, one called the Slayer for the adults (white garlic sauce, pepperoni, and sausage), and some wings since we had never tried theirs before (pretty good, but probably not again). Will be going their often for pizza!

Great spot for lunch or dinner. Employees are friendly and helpful. Food is amazing. Arcade games, sports on several screens. Private room for lunch business meetings

Quality pizza for a fair price.

Mountain Mike's is the best pizza place in town. Don't expect to pay $8 for a greasy mess. They know their worth, and worth every penny they are. We won't order from anywhere else.

I always order the Mt Everest thin crust, reminds me of my home in Ca, sometimes I will go to the all you can eat buffet and put in a special request they are always awesome.

Can you number the grains of sand or stars of the galaxy? You still can't number this pepperoni.

I love climbing and then summiting that mount veggie more pizza with my mouth! Very good veggie pizza piled high was fresh goodies. I would say other pizza places in the valley are behind mountain mikes when it comes to their veggie pizzas. Pikes peak was also very good. I was scared to try the all meat one but I am sure it is delicious. The miniature salad bar was nice, and the to go packets of Parmesan cheese and Chile peppers was appreciated.

Mountain Mike’s is one of my favorite pizza places in the area because of the crispy cupped Pepperoni on top. We got Pepperoni, Combination and Pineapple BBQ chicken. All were delicious! Definitely in one of our top 5 pizza places in Utah.
