Just recently I ordered a 73” grapple from Everything Attachments in North Carolina, the company, for whatever reason, opted to use Yellow Freight as the primary shipping company to ship the 800lb+ grapple to Williston, VT. at Everything Attachments expense.
After reading all of the negative comments regarding Yellow Freight I was pretty worried to say the least.
However, when the grapple arrived, (21 August 2021) I got a phone call as well as an email from Nick stating that the item had arrived and the address where I could pick it up as well as the contact number to call and name of the individual that I could speak to in order to coordinate the pick up time. When I called, the person that answered was the same person that left the original message to me, (Nick) he was very professional.
Once I arrived and informed Nick as to who I was and why I was there, he kindly informed me as to where the item was and allowed me to unwrap and inspect the item for defects and throw the shipping wrap in their trash. The item was in pristine condition, not even a scratch. I asked if he had the means to load it onto my dump trailer and he stated that he did and would be happy to assist. He and his partner loaded it onto my trailer and we’re very diligent and competent.
All I can say is that I personally had a very professional and pleasant experience with the Yellow Freight dock personnel that work at the Williston, VT terminal.

I would advise you to never use YRC. Not only did they not deliver our pallets in a timely manner, we ended up having to pick the pallets up ourselves.Fine whatever, then to find out half of our stuff on the pallet was missing. We had to eat over $1,000 in product because they are a very unprofessional company. Would not recommend to anyone. They will never get any of our business and we will advise any of our shippers in the future to go elsewhere.

Their service is terrible. There is nobody actually located at the Williston depot so trying to find out any information about delivery is a long difficult process and their tracking information is not accurate. Both of my experiences with them have been very similar. I had to go pick up my first order (a 2,000 lb automotive lift) weeks after the scheduled delivery because they couldn't commit to a delivery date. They only give you a one hour window each day to do customer pick ups because like I said, nobody is actually located at the Williston depot. I'm still waiting for my second delivery which tracking shows delivered two weeks ago when in fact that's only when they subbed it out to a sub contractor and now neither can confirm where my product is. Avoid YRC in upstate Vermont at all costs!

Absolutely do not use this service. I've been waiting more than a week for a pallet out of Bangor, ME with more than $10k of product on it. They initially stated it was delivered, but recanted when they couldn't provide a POD. Now it's been sitting at their terminal for two days. If there is a more useless trucking company out there, I'm yet to find it.

What a mistake to use YRC 3 years later..used them again. They dumped a shipment in OHIO that was to go to IOWA. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE> Decent pricing, terrible customer service. Their customer service is outsourced overseas. Good luck getting someone local. Recent shipment arrived their terminal in WIlliston Tuesday, however they claim they don't have a truck to bring it (6 skids) to us until MAYBE Friday.....12 days after pickup. Won't use them ever again.

So far my shipment has been sitting down in Williston 6 days. I called yesterday and asked if I could go pick it up with my truck and trailer. The representative on the phone said nobody was at the warehouse to load it. Tomorrow it might be transferred to another shipper. I wish I could rate yrc with no stars.

customer service sucks! i picked a kayak for my 25 year anniversary at work, it was shipped by yrc they lost it (how do you lose a kayak) the second one unfortunately was sent by the same carrier, it has been sitting 15 miles from my work for two days, which is a business with a manned loading dock now they say i need to set up an appointment for delivery, but that was only after i contacted them wondering when it was going to be delivered. customer service is horrible

Been waiting on a package for a week now. When I messaged them they said they lost my package and had to have a search team to find it. When they found it the package was damaged and may be missing pieces. It took them three weeks to get my package to me. I will never order anything through this shipping company ever again.

If your freight has to go through the Williston terminal plan on it being late.
Many of our vendors ship with YRC because of the low costs but it reflects in the service.

Watch yourself with these guys. They will farm your shipment out to a low bidder subcontractor who will all but disappear with it. YRC on the west coast is all right, YRC here is a nightmare.

This is the absolute worse trucking company that ever existed here. Large shipment received days ago and they say it will be delivered but it never happens because they cant find it even though they say they found it but when it comes time to load it on truck.. they lost AGAIN!!!!
