This is an authentic Chinese restaurant, great taste food and best price. It was cooked to the order while I was waiting. Highly recommend this restaurant. 🥡

Don’t let Burlington pretentiousness get in the way, this is what you’re looking for. Dumplings are great, lo mein noodles are legit (spaghetti in most other spots around here). If you’re hoping for the classics you want, put in the order. This or Mandarin in Winooski. Enjoy.

For Vermont standards this place is soooooo goood!!! Their general Tsos chicken actually is crunchy after delivery and has a thin type of breading. Their pork fried rice uses Chinese bbq pork and actually taste like authentically home style Chinese pork fried rice! Their fried wonton uses thin type of wonton skin and fried shrimp is actually shrimp! Everything was still crispy after delivery! Get the pupu platter for 2 and the general Tao dinner combo. And also dinner comb also had 2 cute broccoli florets! Perfectly cooked! If only people in this world sat down and ate at this place. We would have less violence. But to be very fair the chicken and protein are dry but in Vermont I personally have never had juicy chicken. So this is phenomenal by Vermont standards

These reviews do not do this place justice. It’s affordable, consistent, and delicious. The portions are great and their egg rolls are my favorite in town.

Always fresh, hot, colorful and delicious! One of my favorites is the Spicy Garlic Chicken w/ Vegetables.

Amazing little place in the neighborhood. The food is consistent and great for the price, and it's always an easy pick up. We've ordered food from there the past two years and they've always been great. Going to miss having a neighborhood spot like that :)

I just read all of the reviews, and my opinion stays unchanged... I've been ordering food from these guys for the last 3 years I've lived in Burlington. Though I have never been able to get a delivery because I always lived too far away I always thought it was worth it to pick it up. They are always busy, and yet always friendly. Pick ups are always on time if not earlier then expected. If you have ever seen their kitchen it's one the cleanest I have ever seen which is 50% of the reason why I go there. The other part is that it's DELICIOUS! I don't know what kind of Chinese food you guys have been eating but if you think their food is bad I think you need to readjust your taste buds... It's nice for a college kid because the food is actually very affordable. I usually get the pick 4 thing on the appetizer menu for like $7.50 I get two days worth of delicious food plus rice! Love Love Love this place.. in fact I'm headed there now.. so hungry...

First time eating here, just dropped in and ordered in person in their late hours. Not only were they extremely prompt and very nice for a last minute annoying order; my shrimp lo mein and crab rangoons were extremely good, a lot better than the not great rap people talk about the place. Very kind people, very great food even in a pinch when most restaurant employees would get annoyed and be less than friendly for ordering so late!

Been eating here for years and never had a bad experience. This is my go to place when I want Chinese take out. Fast friendly service and good portions - all at a reasonable price.

My fiancé and I enjoyed this food for the 1st time from here and it was amazing. Pork fried rice, roast pork lo mein, boiled and pan fried dumplings, general tso’s chicken, sweet and sour chicken and egg rolls and it all was perfect. Completely different then the one on shelburne rd and a million times better!! This will definitely be our new Chinese takeout spot!!

I live next door to this place and order several times a month, quality has always been excellent and I've never had to wait more than 30 min, highly recommend!

If I'm being 100% Honest I had some really bad experiences with China Express 2 IN THE PAST. They USED to take 2 hours to deliver food or just completely forget, they USED to have the fakest tasting food you could imagine, they USED to deliver your food to you cold. YES, I'm very serious about all that myself and plenty of fellow friends and family agreed....Something must have happened in the past year, year and a half though, whether it was new management, ownership, or a new company with different quality food, but I SWEAR. The place that gave westernized chinese food a horrible name is now my #1 favorite spot in burlington, and I will only exclusively buy my chinese with them and no one else. They are not amazingly 7 star emerald meals, no westernized chinese food restaurant is, if you're looking for more authenticity in your chinese food try Zen Gardens or better yet, A Single Pebble (that is also if you're looking for at least a $60.00 meal between 2) but china express, in my opinion, definitely NOW takes the cake for Burlingtons quick chinese. They look kinda rinky dinky and especially if you compare their appearance to a place like Asian Bistro, but seriously guys, trust me when I say that compared to any other Chinese in Burlington or even the surrounding area, possibly even all of Northern Vermont...China Express is a true David vs Goliath and consistently satisfies my hunger

Delicious food and a friendly staff. This is a quick take out or delivery place. I'd say the best in the area. The Mongolian chicken is so good.

There really isnt much in the way of Chinese food in Burlington and almost all of it is crap. China Express is good. Their delivery times are unreasonable but I have learned to just order earlier. China Express is the best Chinese take out in town.

When sam owned this location they were the best dumplings for your money in town!

Awesome food for a descent price. And they actually serve Singapore noodles the right way.. As opposed to other Chinese restaurants around here.
