Starlight Inn

We had an awesome stay here. Not only were the staff friendly and helpful, we were pleasantly surprised to find that this motel is adjacent to a four screen drive-in movie theatre, which is apparently owned by the same entity, as we were given free passes to the movies playing that night. We stayed in Room 8, or I believe 11. Each room is styled after a movie star (our room was Marilyn Monroe), with some accompanying decor. Our room was impeccably clean and in great shape. Despite movies playing late into the night it was very quiet in the rooms. The beds were supportive and I slept well and had a very comfortable shower the next morning. I would love to stay here again. It is a hidden gemstone in the Burlington VT area.

We loved this room, Whirlpool was a great plus. Everything in this hotel room was in order and working which I feel is exceptional for American Hotels.
Check-in was easy. I first did not see Mail with the arrival details but after a short call to the posted phone number we got into the room. The host left us also free tickets to his drive in cinema which we gladly used.

We stayed here on a road trip with our granddaughter. We chose it for the novel idea of a movie themed motel with a drive in theater! It was a great choice. Easy check in, very clean and comfortable rooms, parking at your front door, and of course the complimentary ticket to the 4 screen drive in a stones throw from the room. Highly recommend!

First of all, our hearts are broken seeing the flooding devastation in Vermont and hope it didn’t touch the Starlight Inn. My daughter and I stayed one night in June at this very cute motel on our “Taste of New England” tour - extremely clean, comfortable, and very charming! The complimentary, adjacent 4-screen drive-in movie theater was a huge bonus, with old timey jingles and a surprisingly well stocked snack bar! Beautiful property with the sun setting behind the screen, as we watched the beginning of a first-run movie! Had to head back to our room a short time into the movie for a great night’s sleep and very early morning departure. In our room, we never heard one sound or saw one light from the drive-in theater! My teacher-daughter considers the Starlight Inn her favorite of all our accommodations on our New England trip! Thank you, Starlight Inn, for very sweet memories of Vermont!

Clean room. Comfortable beds. Cute decor. Room coffee, microwave and fridge. Our movies at the drive inn theater were included with the hotel. I’ll definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area.

Unique idea for a motel! Movie-Themed and located beside the drive-in theatre! Clean and spacious room! It was a fun place to stop and a quick drive to downtown Burlington. The check-in was a little unusual and there was not a person available onsite to assist during our stay. However, phone numbers were provided for anyone requiring assistance.

Great find if visiting the area.

Nice clean room. Very homey. Loved the sinks in 2 locations. Enjoyed our first night in Vermont.

The outside was extremely welcoming. The checking in was contact free but regardless they were extremely friendly. Entering the room it felt, clean and smelt like bleach. They had shoe trays to put your shoes on. They have real slate tile upon entering the room which shows they take pride in their inn. They have vaulted ceilings with recess lighting. The tub is huge!! At night they have their roofs lite in different colors which was beautiful. Everything was so neat, and thought out. It was close to local restaurants which have great food. I always like to find hidden gems and this was definitely one of them. I will be back

Such a cool find! Close enough to Burlington to be convenient but far enough away to be peaceful. The rooms are all themed to different actors and a stay includes tickets to the drive in theatre next door. Rooms are bright, clean, and comfortable and have huge bathtubs.

We've rented a lot of rooms in this price range and this was certainly the cleanest and quietest ever. The beds were comfy and the shower was good. No smell. I cannot stress enough how clean the bathroom was. Everything worked and the lights are on a dimmer switch (YAY). We had a great experience here and will be back. Thank you!

We were pleased with our room - very clean, nice decor, window treatments, vaulted ceiling and comfortable beds. The overall room design was interesting and creative. We had a wonderful dinner at Anthony’s and the Inn was very close to the Ethan Allen Homestead and Museum. The check in and out was convenient and seamless.

We came to Burlington for UVM's open house. This little gem was perfect for our stay. About a 10 minute drive from the city, in a safe neighborhood. The room was very clean with comfortable beds. (Queen size beds.... Not doubles!!) I never feel like I have enough blankets in a hotel bed but these were just enough! I was pleased to have a coffee maker, microwave, and small fridge. The drive in next door was pretty cool although we didn't have a chance to see a free movie. 😔 Maybe next time! I was a little nervous when we arrived to check in and the office was all locked up and dark, but a quick call led us right to our room! We will stay here again. I would much rather stay here then a big hotel chain! Very impressed! Thank you!

Clean, comfortable, nicely decorated. Made to look like a vintage motel. My family had fun seeing a complementary movie at the drive-in theater next door. The neighborhood doesn't seem to have much going on (for instance few restaurants) but it was a nice place to stay for the night.

This is a very nice, new motel that checked all the boxes. Parking at the door, clean, quiet, well appointed and in the summertime, next to a drive-in theater. Less than 15 minutes to downtown Burlington, but near the lake.

We stayed at the Starlight Inn from Feb. 17-20, 2023 & let me just say that the room was perfect. Spacious & most of all very clean. We will be staying there for future trips home!! Thanks for a wonderful stay!!. I highly recommend the Starlight Inn.

The outside was very inviting. The check in was non contact but we still got all the information we needed. We had the Bacall and Bogey room. We slept very well both nights, and we definitely took advantage of the free access to Sunset Drive-In next door. Overall, a great experience.

I can't say enough nice things about this hotel. The rooms are incredibly spacious also impeccably clean. The owner whose name alludes me sorry, is incredibly sweet and helpful. I was completely delighted with everything when I arrived. I have to say I was a bit sceptical staying at a hotel next to a drive-in but was completely wrong. Well worth the stay plus you get to pick from one of four screens at the drive-in to kick back and enjoy. I'll definitely be back.

Booked this hotel last minute for someplace to crash New Years Eve when we came back and were so impressed with the place that we may stay there every time we go to visit family up there! The bed was like a cloud. Room was very spacious and the bathroom and vanity area were large and extremely clean. Also, lots of lighting which was nice. Check in/out was smooth and easy. We visited in winter obviously but the drive-in feature in the warmer months will be a great addition. The movie themed rooms added a memorable quirk to the room. We very much enjoyed our time there.

Great motel and a great price. Family agreed this may be the best motel we have stayed in. Loved that you got free drive in movies next door. Rooms were modern, spacious, with comfy beds and good looking and quality decor. We will definitely be staying again and telling everyone else to stay as well.
